I have only one question : is it possible that a gaijin seduce one of you ?
Seriously, the real specificity of the GC is that they are only women, addicted to Cardamine, aiming to overthrow "men domination". So there is a RP potential remaining... *forget the ship and look at the beautiful pilot behind* - Hello beauty, can i offer you a drink ? :$
I find the GC to be doing quite fine.. But that could just be my bias as being a Kiretsu (also GC-NPC). But yeah, I agree with Eagle being rather out of place.. Thats why I plan on making GC VHFs and bombers, however that won't be coming until I'm done with the 4 system modding jobs sitting on my lap..
Quote:Regarding Blood Dragon fighters and bombers: we made an agreement with the Blood Dragons to keep them within both our factions and neither of us will let them out of our sights and anyone not registered with either group caught flying them are ruthlessly pursued and destroyed. In exchange for Blood Dragon Fighters and Bombers, we supply the Blood Dragons with as many Griffins, Eagles and civilian bombers as they desire for their various missions (some of the NovaPG and indie blood dragons do indeed use these ships).
That's not the point. Actually, any "Outcast side" faction can make a deal with "NovaPG" and use their ships.
That's not necessarily a righteous thing to do.
Here's the Blood Dragon infocard :
Quote:Developed by Blood Dragons on the basis of Dragon, Blood Dragon is the best heavy fighter class ship availabe in Sirius. Maneuverability, improved power supply and heavy armor make Blood Dragon a deadly weapon in the hands of a skilled pilot. However, Dragons conceal the design of this ship even from their pirate brethren, so the only place where it's built is Kyoto base.
Blood dragons wouldn't give it to you. No matter what are PC relations, you would not get them.
That's the whole point.
Also, there is really no difference between you and the Blood Dragons if you are flying the same ships and doing same things.
And you are.
So you can as well join the NovaPG and do all that stuff with them.
My point is, make a difference. Start acting like a real GC faction, not a made-up one, with made-up deal with made-up BD-RH faction.
I have nothing against you using their Red Catamaran bombers.
But BD VHF's are too much. Please don't do it.
And I don't need to remind you that you promised only GC highstest ranking members will fly these ships.
This is not the case. Which means, you became too self-confident.
Please, go back to the right way.
Other than this, I have no objections to GC roleplay.
And please, don't take my posts as 'bashing'. It's just discussing.

I think the GC are closer to dragons than Outcasts, because they find the outcasts a bit creepy. EVIDENCE: http://i247.photobucket.com/albums/gg124...reen61.jpg
...took me forever to dig that one up again...
Your proof also proves the existence of Kusari security forces, which does not exist in Disco (or vanilla FL).
You are maybe right, but I take rumors only as rumors.
That's just my opinion, I'm not insisting on it to be true.

That's somewhat strange. You're talking to a robot, and it seems to think it is both a member of the GC and a woman...
""As for weapons, I have just barred the use of any codenames or nomad weapons within the GC and from now on, the only weapons you should see equipped will be either civilian or Kusari weaponry (disinfectors and suncannons). I myself just removed the four codenames I was using and have gotten myself four GC Suncannon Ds today, as have two other GC members. I will also be getting myself an Eagle fighter. I will not restrict the ships we already have available, and it is up to personal choice and the rank of the pilot within the faction, but I personally will be trying to set an example for RP regardless. Anyone you see in GC not using Kusari or civilian weapons, please report them to me and i'll get it fixed ASAP. There's bound to be one or two that'll slip through my restructuring.""
I compleatly object to this.
There is alot of players in the game that have the ''greatest and latest '' coded guns and weapons.
We are gonna get wasted.
The GC should have enough black market connections that buying coded weapons or specail items should not be that much of a big deal.
How many arms dealers do we know in game? I got a list of 10 or so.
As for the ships and BD hording thier tech from thier friends and allies---keeping that information to themselves....That part is written in the stock ID :: This is a growing and 'living' game. We have pretty much moved beyound the basics of when Freelancer first came out of the box.
Any group that is engaged in a war, knows at some point--if your friends and allies are not well armed, well feed and well tended to---then instead of having troups that are an assaite to your cause....you have a 'loadstone' instead.
Now you not only have to carry your weight in battle, but you have to make up for the defenicies.

Point is.. That's not what you said when you proposed the faction.
Which means you'v gotten a bit too self-confident on the safe side of officialness.
GC is not tough, and should not be tough as Blood Dragons.
Please start flying civilian ships.
Codenames are fine, I agree. Krakens are not, but Codes are ok.
Though it's always better RP to use your own guns, but I can't really mind codename usage.

Exactly.. .only difference I see now is that you undock from Ainu instead of Kyoto...

I believe it says the designs and is BUILT on Kyoto. It never says anywhere that its USE is restricted from the GC.
The GC (PC) is farther in role play than a heck of a lot of other factions. All three Corsair factions use codenames and nomad weapons, GC don't, even though they definitely could justify 2 codes or nomads per ship.
Have you encountered them in-game at all? From the stuff you write, it doesn't look like it, and no one should make decisions or raise objections until they have at least SEEN what they are talking about.
Moving on to the Outcast faction comment.. Your making up assumptions and decisions you aren't qualified or authorized to make. Your not in any of the three Outcast factions, let alone in their leadership. Secondly the Outcasts haven't and CAN'T request them. BLS obtained a SINGLE Red Catamaran for a bomber that they used almost exclusively in Kusari, and it doesn't even exist anymore.
The Outcasts are in Alpha. They are allied to Blood Dragons for the simple reason that they are pre-existing allies of the GC and common enemies with KNF. GC can request ships from the Blood Dragons. The both have worked together in a very close alliance for over a hundred years (play SP camplaign please..) and have a single jump hole between the two's main bases, and now there is only a singly JH between their guard bases as well.
Also, GC are just as tough as the Blood Dragons. SP campaign here again. The BD are shown as a very small, highly skilled group. GC are a much larger group (getting reinforcements from women, rather than the kids of pre-existing BD pilots) with slightly less skill.. Evenly balanced, one with numbers, the other with skill. There is no reason for the BD not to sell a few of their ships to the GC. They don't release the designs, which stops anyone else from making them, but they do sell built ones.
Quote:Also, GC are just as tough as the Blood Dragons.
Nope.
This is Disco.
Quote:Neither as well armed as the Blood Dragons nor as influential as the Hogosha, the Golden C. have been more of an irritant to the government than an actual threat.
And this proves it.

If you gave an F-117 stealth ship to French, they would be able to copy it's design.
It's the same thing.
Quote:All three Corsair factions use codenames and nomad weapons, GC don't, even though they definitely could justify 2 codes or nomads per ship.
All three Corsair faction also fly Titans instead of Vipers. And Suncannons are better then Salamanca's or codes, especially on fast ships like Blood Dragon or Eagle.
Ask Mariko.Kietan if you don't believe me.

The Outcasts are in Alpha.
I have no idea what's your point with this.. I said "Any Outcast-side faction", not any "Outcast-faction".

The one that I have asked me in PM not to call him/her a Cardi addict.
He/She also had no clue about GC addiction on Cardamine.
That's not the point here, because I explained him/her the whole deal with Cardi.
Look, I'm not saying that you can't justify those ships in RP. I'm just saying that it looks much worse then it should.
If you don't care about that, then don't read my suggestions.
The fact is, using allied ships/weaponry instead of your own (in this case - civilian) is bad RP - at least for me.
You take it as you wish. I just posted my view on the 'feedback'.
I like the faction, I just don't like their ships. At all.
I had a Chimaera and Catamaran on my Hogosha only because I was a co-leader. Only two people were allowed to have those ships.
We presented them as gifts from KNF for helping against Brettonia invasion (real one, in Kyushu).
And still I felt bad and changed my Chimaera for an Eagle, and Catamaran mostly stays at home lately.
I will say it again. At least you should limit those ships to 2-3 people. That's all.
