Geoff remains hesitant to be around me. His lack of trust is justified, but its difficult when someone so young and bright would willingly throw away something so valuable, like the weapon he helped design. His dangers lie in the knowledge of the weapon, and his ability, should he try, to stop us from using it against these things.
He doesn't see the value. When someone gives you a gun, you don't complain that its dirty, you use it. So yes, if he fails to see reason beyond the image I sent him, break him.
John, on the other hand, remains a wild card. He has yet to respond, but he appears to have ceased harassing my operatives in the field. He's on hold for now, until I learn more.
This war, directly fighting the Nomads from dark space... It's taxing. We don't know where they'll hit next, beyond the Points, which are closely monitored. The situation in Newcastle is concerning, but The Bretonians are, for the most part, holding the line. The... Thing, that appeared, is still an unknown, but scans suggest its entirely organic. Moving around, and otherwise... alive.
Unification remains our best chance at beating whatever the Nomads throw at us through the jaws of dark space. Humanity has always been stubborn with setting aside their differences in favor of survival.
