i've seen fights last for longer than an hour, fairly frequently in fact

if this was implemented then those people could come back

making the fight longer

and then more people would come back

The timer should be kept as it is. Fights can last for longer than an hour, and I don't want some noob I already blued at the beginning of the fight to be coming back and getting in my way again.

He probably meant that often killing player logs off after the fight is over, thus the killed player is allowed to return to the system where he was killed before two hours passes.

Personally I think two hours are fine. Four hours were too much, one hour is not enough. As others said, bigger battles sometimes took nearly or even over that long and no one is interested to be killed before the end by fresh "re-engagers".

On a ragebreak. Or ragequit. Time will tell.

I don't like the rule that if the killler logs out an back in 5 mins later then the person that dies can still come back.

It is pretty silly and could be abused to just be fight after fight.

I play it safe and just stay away for 2h. Works good

As Meph mentioned, some fights tend to last over an hour - especially large snub brawls. 2 hours is fine.

you can make it so that you cant enter the system for one hour, and cant reengage the same people for 2 or 3 hours. That should make both sides happy

I voted yes to reducing it to one hour, but after thinking about how many fights I've been in that have lasted over an hour I'd prefer things stay the same as they are now.
