This is to make the community better.
If it has to stomp one or two peoples faces who did not know better not to do their furry stuff in the first place - so be it.
Their actions have no significant impact on the place anyway, so the rest of the community should not care.

just change their picture to a human
Or a hamster. Or a cat. Or a Klingon. This all is still allowed because that´s obviously fine.

No reason to.
I am pretty sure the admin team just gave you a very compelling reason to.
It is against the community rules.
Either do it or feel free to leave. Your roleplay contributions to the community have no impact if they are removed anyway.
This is true for any other individual within the community.

I'm not explicitly against furry RP, the problem I have is that those who do engage in furry RP appear to do between very little and nothing else. There is no creativity involved, just the same old rehashed special snowflake stories that often want to do whatever they want at the expense of the rest of the RP environment, which is not particularly productive. Banning it outright is perhaps an extreme response, but the vast majority of opinions appear to be in favour of such a move. A beneficial aspect of this ban that I can see is that this will now inspire more creative RP in the place of the same repeated furry RP.

It especially bothers me when said characters are "failed LSF experiments," "rogue LSF agents," etcetera. Why would the LSF make a furry? What's so much better about them that they'd waste money on making them? Why wouldn't they just be shot in the back of the head if they're "failed?" They're not human, why would they receive human rights?

It is funny to see repeatedly (perma)banned person talking about need to respect the rules.
Let us not forget that Furry RP in general act like entitled little muffins with their kink roleplay being crowbared into every single RP community they can get it to. Even now you can have no doubt that probably all of those furry characters you see on the forums are used to cyber with on a daily basis.
Furry roleplayers are always doing this sort of nonsense and then they act entitled that anyone's RP is feasible if explained and then make a huge deal when a community has enough of their stupidity and take an axe to their face.
