I believe pavel just said a healthy dose of Pirate bias is necessary. This is just a recipe for killing pirate activity as a whole.
If you cant stand the heat of a bomber pirate, hire a gunboat freelancer or something, fly in a convoy.
^ Oh , i haven't been destroyed by pirate for at least 6 mounts in my transport , and i was only forced to pay to one to let me go , exactly because i run and dock at first sign of trouble . They are to predictable and easy to avoid , to easy .
What i propose is reason why should i stay and fight .
I am all up for some challenge from pirates , but with curent balance , transport cant win against bombers , so they need trusters to escape .
Want to remove thrusters ? Fine by me , transport cant escape on thrusters anymore , but give them chance they can win battle , remove novas , hellfire's and other weapons that can kill transports in a 10 sec , or rework bomber at what they really shuld be , slow heavily armed ships that are easy to hit , or restrict pirating to fighters only !
If you remove truster and nothing else , you remove only way of defense they have , escape !

Why complains about CAU transports , they can also be mounted on pirate SHF/Bombers/Freighters ?

I'm sorry your 5ker is not able to fight back against a bomber, but that's how the game works. Transports can do very well against bombers, literally any transport with less than 3.6k cargo can beat a bomber 1v1, if you're good that is. Even battletransports can do well against bombers with no hellfires, and 5kers can survive for a solid amount of time before thrusting to the nearest base. Saying that bombers need to be nerfed is just plain stupid.

4-5k transports are not a problem,every ship should be able to take it out before being able to dock,if you dont...lets just say its not a balance problem but more of a practice issue (2-4h should be enough for any newbie)

It's a very bad idea and i don't think it will add any fun to the pirates
Also it will harm the trading and transportation and strike it in the heart ...
Thrusters don't help much the traders but it's a good tool to use sometimes.
I am 100% against this idea and that's just my 2 cents

In Tau-29, near Tau-31 gate, some IFL/IMG transports with nice cargo (Tungsten, other metals, Energy Field equipment) generated from time to time.

What's the betting most of these people that are complaining about being killed by bombers don't use armour? As soon as you go over the SNAC/Torp Hull damage you force the bomber into a longer fight which means you can escape easier.
