The desire to remove subversive and corrupting elements from the community outside the rules and through some sort of brash action would need to be done in a way that convinces everyone it was just.
problem is here Jen's it didn't come out that way. Really the administrative process to many of us is about as clear as the underpants gnomes way of doing things.
The mod strike is also a huge waste of time. Yet another group whose internal workings is about as clear to the rest of us as the underpants gnomes are putting the brakes on whatever they fucking do to get what semblance of justice they feel their deserving in the name of the community is about as welcome by it as a pair of high heels on a pig.
As for bob constantly talking about rule zero. More underpants gnome directives won't fix what's been done.
Im going to put this clear. Admin have a clear and set procedure laid out on how to do this stuff. The admins are responsible for fixing and adjudicaiting elements and factors that harm server gameplay but that does not prescribe the power to go outside of the powers and procedures YOU MADE UP for all the rest of us to abide by. You dont get to be a parliment and a king at the same time. We play by the rules you play by the rules.
The fact the team felt it had to go outside the rules to implement these changes is a serious breach of trust and the covenant all of us have put in so far playing by those rules for all this time. This is black and white.. there is no grey here. Hell the Fuzzy decision was more transparent and appropriate then what THIS was. you guys got sloppy and now our faith and belief in the rules and your ability to enforce those rules are in serious jeopardy.
The only way out in this case is reverse. And if you won't go in reverse those of you who can't fix your mistakes by going backwards should walk forwards out the exit door. because until either happens no ones going to trust you or care about your explanations. Devs admins or otherwise.
still love ya tho.. but despite this being a so called ..volunteer job? it has integrity it has bounds and it has limits .. and frankly you busted off all four corners in this case. The whole group screwed itself. But really worse things in history have occurred. its just can we all deflate the bs and the drama see the lesson to be learned and grow from it. doesent have to be about what you "think" its about.
bottom line what is your integrity worth to the people here?

EL OH EL
Don't quote few words from an entire paragraph and start acting weird.
You must understand that when you do so, then you are not being any constructive. I hope you re consider reading the entire paragraph and try to understand it instead of quoting small parts which shows different meanings just to cause more troubles or become a total troll. Take it easy @Wesker , i think you are more mature than that.
Here is also a small hint, I just posted here because @Jansen said on the top post that we should discuss it in a mature way and as gentlemen. I hope that your actions don't repel people like me or me from posting here.

Saying that they are changing their behaviour in order to be in line with what the administration wants is a bad thing is not an acceptable reason in order to not give them out. If you find behaviour that is harmful but not listed in the rules, you can modify the rules. That's how a living community should work, and is in fact how it works in real life. Rules are changed in order to exclude poor behaviour.
I don't think so. Last interpretation is by the justice. Regardless of how pointed rules
are, there will be always a grey zone in which they have to decide, if something goes
against the intention of a rule.

Okay, but in Jansen's post it flat-out says they weren't banned for anything relating to the rules. If someone was violating the spirit of a rule rather than the letter of it, it's still appropriate to cite the rule, and the admin team is (should be?) aware of that. No rules were cited. No behavior was cited. Only an alleged, entirely-unsubstantiated "toxic attitude" on the parts of the community members, who, as we can see, are well-loved. And, regardless of whether they broke any rules or not, regardless of whether they were constructive or not, regardless of whether they were loved or not, this:

is not acceptable, and never should be acceptable. And all of you ought to be ashamed for thinking otherwise.
~3 years ago there wasn't such a fuzz over a very similiar procedure and most of the very same people that now want their voices to be heard happily ignored it back the day or found reasons to justify it as just.
But here we are, with many of the same faces showing up, having heavily contrary views to a few years back. I'd say that's the change of times, but then again it's rather about who you're friends with.
After reading some Skype chats I think the admins got it right with the decision and the consequences that can happen after. Good luck with how it plays out.
Anyway as you can see with Traxit's childish attitude, I've largely given up hope for this community anyway. To be in the in crowd means to put others down and that is where the community is heading.

You do realize I just took your format and applied your own logic to it, so "my childish attitude" is yours. Your post was of no help, use or insight whatsoever to the current topic.
Your opinion of the community is also irrelevant here.

Can't wait to see how the admins will respond to all the counter-arguments to the OP.
