Was quite quiet yesterday, chased a few leads on possible smugglers.
Toaster -10 was then sighted near Norfolk battleship. Seems these blighters are getting rather brave. Well, if they were human anyway.
It refused to leave Bretonian space, so I engaged along with a group of police. (//NPC) We were having a good show of it until he started to blast the police out of the air. Once this was done, I managed to keep him busy, at least until the CQO Exeter and Commander Brock arrived.
Sadly while trying to flee the scene due to having run out of mine and shield batteries, I was taken down by heavy fire from the Harvester.
Thankfully I was close enough for the Norfolk to pull me in.
All went well later I heard. With the exeter taking down the harvester unit. Hopefully the machine will learn not to trifle with us.
Oh, and a small note, where can I find Nuclear mines? The current ones just don't cut it.

Gentlemen,
It seems that there are still misinformed Outcasts who regard us as their enemies, despite our settlement with their nation. Yesterday one of them, a bomber under the callsign Falcata.003, attacked the constables M'guire and Vederman at the orbit of Planet Leeds. Receiving their distress call, I started my Hussar and assissted them in dispatching the attacker. To our surprise, another Outcast appeared, this time even a capital class vessel: the Battleship Gottika. Interestingly, and to our fortune, he complied to our orders to stay out of the fight and refused assisstance to the Falcata.
Heavily damaged, the Falcata made the desperate attempt to land on Planet Leeds, without using docking rings... which resulted in its destruction.
The captain of the Gottika however, was much more sympathic. He has retrieved a KNF fleet admiral and two cruiser captains in the Taus and handed them over to us. I took them into our custody, and cleared him for passage. The war prisoners have been delivered to the BAF high command for their interrogation.
But the Raven, sitting lonely on that placid bust, spoke only
That one word, as if his soul in that one word he did outpour.
Nothing further then he uttered; not a feather then he fluttered--
Till I scarcely more than muttered, "Other friends have flown before--
On the morrow he will leave me, as my Hopes have flown before."
<blockquote>Then the bird said, "Nevermore."</blockquote>

A few quick things...
Firstly, the captain of the Gottika should be commended for his actions.
Secondly, our affairs in Dublin have been laxed down due to the UoG's support of an independent Dublin. The Mollys more or less keep to themselves there now. We will not interfere in their business. In addition, be sure to take caution in engaging KNF. They are highly trained and well equipped. Use your SRDs when needed.
Yours,
Sir Alan
M'guire and any others needing our environmentally friendly nuclear mines, they shall be provided tomorrow.

Nothing too much happened today, had to show a freelancer the might of the hussar and chased off the gaian "Sinn_Fein" again.
The freelancer went by the name "Talnarec" and when I scanned the hold, I found to ma surprise.
After asking him to drop the pilots, he insisted that he wouldn't. So I was forced to use force to liberate the prisoners. A short fight ensued, and ended with his Rheinland VHF being shot down. I rescued the pilots and released them on New London.
A short while later I encountered the same chap in Cambridge. This time he dropped the pilots and, I assume, left Bretonian space. Seems a show of force is sadly sometimes required.
As for "Sinn_Fein," I encountered him at the same place as I found Talnarec for the second time. He refused to leave system and proceeded to flee. After a few bouts of combat, I managed to damage him enough for him to flee to Omega 3. Although he vowed to come back.
All in all, nice to not have to fight against capital ships all the time. A refreshing day.

Good day gents,
Bloody hectic day today, with pirates galore, invasion of the remnant, again, and not one, but two corsair invasions...
Right, the report.
First, simple pirates.
Started with a familiar name to the BPA, falcata.003, the planet diver. He along with a friend (designation "Nico.Lopez") decided that Bretonia was fair game. When I approached, they started attacking. Out numbered and outgunned, luck was with me as the gunboat Puff_the_Magic_Dragon arrived and drove off falcata while I followed his lackey. Who hid on Islay base in Edinburgh.
"Sinn_Fein" was sighted again in Cambridge, with a hold full of pilots. Along with CQO SirRoger and the gunboat "Puff_the_Magic_Dragon" we persued him. Until news of a Corsair invasion reached us.
By the time we caught them, they were in the Leeds system, having purchased the use of the JG Pim.
The corsairs had... 2 Heavy fighters and a bomber I believe. We engaged them.
Although good pilots, the bomber made the mistake of targeting me, leaving the puff and Sir Roger to take care of the fighters. After while, one of the Corsairs went down, along with Sir Rogers. After that a pair of Molly gunboats appeared, but the crew were sadly lacking. (//npc)
We eventually took them down, only to find the pirate "Drunken.Barrel" in possession of a fair number of pilots. He agreed to hand them over, and they were then freed on planet leeds. After that I escorted him to the Omega-3 Jump hole in Cambridge. Just in time for a harvester attack...
I have to say luckily, an ion storm hit and I couldn't do anything from the dock of Cardiff where I'd docked to refuel and rearm.
The Colonial Remnant then decided that it was their right to barge in with a war party intent on destroying toaster-10.
Along with their command ship, Mohor or somesuch. After destroying the toaster, they showed off their supreme arrogance again. And threatened me, the puff, and a passing UOG member. Luckily they left without incident. Apart from setting a group of corsairs on the Molly.
There were another 2, but I didn't get a good look at their names.
Yeah, the bombers destroyed the puff, and I grabbed as many of the escaped men as I could and fled back to Leeds. Where the OPG were waiting. I had to flee back to New London jump gate. I dropped the men off at New London.
I think my ship will be in the repair yard for a good while...

Subject: Quick note on Toasters.
Bleedin' things are expanding into our space! Toaster-10 is a common sight in Cambridge. Now Toaster-30 has decided to make it's home in Leeds and very oddly, New London systems.
Heard that 30 was in Leeds and rushed to the aid of [Core] member Omega, who was attacking the beast. As such I had to fly my still not-fully-repaired Hussar. It turned out that these blasted toasters are moving up, 30 is set into a, wait for it, Corsair Gunboat!
How are we meant to tackle these things if we're constantly being outgunned, and our ships outclassed?
Anyway, Omega was taken out by it, but I managed to tractor him in. And then, unsurprisingly, my hussar blew out. And luckily I had contacted the Mandalorian Kandosii before engaging and he(?) turned up and tractored both me and Omega in. After persuing the harvester to New London, it was destroyed. I paid Kandosii for the service, and along with the pilots saved from the hold of the toaster, we landed on New London and are now in medical.

Hey there, fellas!
My Challenger is finally equipped with all basic needs and ready for service - Josh told me to get out immediately whenever anything big shows up. B'sides, I'm steering that baby alone, so don't expect me to perform with extraordinary skills... should be enough to sink a few blighters though.
And, err, by the way, the SRD hangar is awfully empty... including mine, we have four Challengers. The other three are getting quite dusty - I heard the pilots are all on vacation or something like that...

Sirs,
Ran a regular patrol yesterday. Little really out of the ordinary - mostly ID issues - except for three individuals a little confused on their career choices, and a Corsair Cruiser.
Callsigns Roofus88, LONGRIFLE, and alice16 were flying together. The first two were in Corsair Bombers with inadequate IDs and no intention of pirating; they just "liked the ships." The third had a long-expired ID. They said they were interested in military IDs, and did not really care which house. [QCO]Kuro.Akumabito and I explained to them the very problematic nature of their situations, and escorted them all out of Bretonian space. Hopefully they will have things sorted out the next time they enter.
I also encountered the Corsair Praefect Cruiser, Mira. I demanded her immediate departure, and the cruiser captain cooperated fully, saying they were in Kyushu, and this was the fastest route to Omicrom Gamma. I escorted her to the JH to Omega-5, and hopefully we will not be seeing her like again.
