Going from what your saying if the faction will be hostile to all including itself then maybe pirate would be the best ID.

Though with pirate ID he must make a demand and if the victim will met it, he must let it go. Not to mention he can´t attack lawfuls in house space, only in self-defense. But I agree it is probably the best choice, what he described is literally Terrorist/Wilde ID and those are not given out freely.

Well, right now its not even a new faction, i just want to know what things i need to have clear to not f*** everything up.

If the faction was existant, it would be pvp focused. But since the Wild ID its unobtainable wihout permit and the Pirate ID doesnt allow you to be aggresive.

And about the "metagame" part you guys say, since im still not used to how things work around. What does it mean and how exactly i should RP with my character, like if he was an infected?

Basically, one of the gimmics that describes Wilde-type IDs is that the players like to play their characters as ''seemingly normal'' officers and naval pilots until hostilities are needed. The issue with this is that players will still be able to see your ID and will judge your actions accordingly. They will put much more focus on your actions to try and find an excuse to shoot you. That or outright engage you, which would not be against the ID rules as you are indeed a hostile - no matter what you are trying to RP out.

This is why Wilde IDs right now have a bad rep. Their players openly use them as PVP IDs and very often get into fights with lawful navy and police players and even assist and FLY unlawful ships - and then expect to be treated as normal lawfuls during the next encounter because ''lol that is the wilde RP and you are a pvpwhore if you metagame my ID''.

Infected people usually hide that fact as long as they don't have the superior position. Some Wild can affect people's minds to make sure they forget everything about the Wild encounter, but that kind of gaming needs a reliable RP opponent. You can't just say "(Everything blurs around you. You feel an headache and some pictures are leaving your mind. You forgot everything about this encounter, even the pain.)" Because that's kind of powergaming, even if it makes sense. It's totally up to the partner and if he's into that kind of RP.

That's the crux with superpower-RP. I wouldn't try it, as long as it's not a kind-of-set-up-scenario.

There's a few ways people do it, the most common ones being that your character -IS- the nomad incubus, impersonating a human directly.

The other commonly seen method is you roleplaying two characters in one - the controlling incubus and the human on a hypothetical "leash". This leaves you having a more human and interesting character.

Now, Wild are infectees and should technically be human - keeping the cover of being human. Wild ID rephacks you to have the "Unknown" IFF, which is why 80% of the people will shoot you the moment they see you. It doesn't matter if you use human ships and human tech, claiming you're someone else - the IFF and ID means you are red, and red should be dead.

Most infectee factions have given up on trying due to the instant engaging and "you're an infectee!!", mostly just roleplaying with people they know personally and know they won't engage them. Hence the reputation that Wild ID is a PvP ID.
