What if he made the list for something but then found innocent?
What do you mean made a list and then found innocent? You randomly pick people, then ban some of them and others are innocent? Or you still had some factual basis to believe that Thyr can be banned, to put him on the table list and then vote? If you had some facts, person can be banned in such brutal way and then just didn't found it SO harmful, then how does this person becoming good enough to become a mod?
We'd like you to welcome two new Moderators to the staff. They've been around for a while, have helped in many ways, and thus the staff felt their efforts could be further utilized by having Orange names.

People are failing to realize something too. As mentioned, the list of people that were under consideration for a ban was brought forth by all admins. It was not an admin vote to put those people on the list, rather it was a discussion and various admins dropped their thoughts. So regarding Thyr, just because his name was on the list doesn't mean all admins thought he needed that. But in fairness anyone an admin brought forth would be discussed, and as such when the admins discussed everyone brought forward, majority didn't see anything wrong with Thyr.
You all are acting like we collectively put him on the list, then turned around and made him a mod. You're wrong in that assumption. Just because an admin brought forth a name, doesn't mean we all felt the same way. So put away the pitchforks and calling "hypocrisy" when that is not the case.
Damned if we do, damned if we don't. Sorry for the negativity boys, but glad you two joined the Mod team.
I think the Admin team should stop acting as if the whole community is out to get them.
Nothing wrong with criticism and asking why. Are you offended because that is ridiculous.
Thanks for this clarification though even though the tone of presenting it was... Meh.

Drrobe its not about his name on a ban list, its about his attitude to others and how he puts them down. His modus operandi is usually very negative against anyone he does not like.
Like me he has a personal hatred toward me which is well-documented and an as a result has an obsession with seeing me reprimanded for things he does himself even though my interaction on these forums is basically 0 nower days. But it will be interesting to see how that will manifest itself now he is a moderator, all eyes on him eyy
@Black Widow You do not need to worry about my behavior, the staff has their members to keep an eye on fresh meat as well as their means of punishment in case of misconduct. It's not really your task to keep an eye on me, though I guess one less thing to have a headache over isn't that bad, is it?
Instead you can keep an eye on yourself. Just like everyone else. We will too.
On an other note, I do not expect respect for a status of mine or a change of it, I've always expected respect only for my positive accomplishments, and that's not likely to change. While all these "congrat"s are cool and nice and thank you, I feel a "good luck" would be more in place. Besides accepting a position I haven't done much yet, I wouldn't really congratulate myself for that, let my actions define my value instead.
