Personal Background: Quite the story for some. Well, I was born into what I can remember being an ordinary family on planet Hamburg, my parents were both Kruger employees that worked in the Dresden system. According to my guardian around the age of 6 they were both murdered by a Hessian raiding party, making me an orphan of one of my closest friends, Hilda, before I finally completed my years at my University. I didn't actually learn what the real cause of my parent's demise was until I graduated. At that point Hilda and myself decided to join the Rheinland Military. Naturally, joining the pilots in Dresden, my friend and I served there for 5 years. I was insistent on serving for my own personal vendetta. However, that all changed when I got news of Hilda's passing after she was killed as well as my parents by a Hessian raiding party. I had gotten word that the Kruger escorts had abandoned the Military pilots after realizing their opposition was greater than they. The Military pilots, despite asking for assistance, were left for dead. That was the word I received from the one Military pilot that survived the incident. I was in a complete state of rage, I personnal expressed my "feelings" towards my commanding officer as well as the pilots that abandoned my friend. However, it only earned me a demotion and the incident was covered as something that never involved the Kruger convoy. To the rest of the Military it was a patrol that went south. It came to my attention that the people I was fighting for and the people giving me orders were no better than people I had spent 5 years killing relentlessly. I abandoned the military, and searched for my own personal means of getting revenge on the people that brought me to this state. Until hearing of this group the V.W.A. (I dare not pronounce the full name, I'm half Libretonian) seeing as though this group isnt interested in killing innocents but also looks into ridding Rhineland of corruption I figured I'd attempt to join.
Also, you need combatants, regardless of if you accept me or not, I spent 1 Year in frankfurt, and it was definitely not as challenging as my years in Dresden.
What brings you to our cause?
As mentioned, you aren't interested in slaughtering innocents like my parents, but you are interested in ridding Rhienland of its corruption so people like my friend Hilda aren't forgotten. No, this isn't for my personal vendetta against the Hessians anymore, I've decided to do something more.

You have my most sincere condolences as to the passing of your parents and your friend Hilda; among the Party, you'll find that many other men and women here are sincerely willing to listen to your concerns and stories, because some joined us for reasons not unlike yours.
At very least, I can assure you one thing; we'll get to the Hessian "obstacle" when we reach it. For now, it's my pleasure and honor to welcome you to the Widerstandsarmee, Aktivist.
Personal Background: Hannah was born on Planet Hamburg, Her working class parents were typical of the time, hard, opportunistic desperate to survive as the planet's inhabitants faced economic crisis, streams of refugees from planets even worse off and a corrupt goverment that vacillated between harsh repression and concessions. It comes as no surprise that Hannah learnt pretty early how to handle a ship, at least enough to defend herself, and was employed as an escort pilot just after she turned eighteen, do to the need to meet ends.
But all did not go well. Hannah's older sister, Freyja an idealistic, brave young woman to whom Hannah looked up, had other ideas and soon got involved in the Hessian's movement that, in the tradition of noble rebels everywhere, wanted to overthrow the tyrants. As a result, the situation escalated. The Hessians attacked soldiers and collaborators, conducted bombings on Government installations and Rheinland's soldiers responded with executions, arrests and torture. Hannah saw people she knew get arrested by night by black-clad goons and they never returned. Increasingly, her own family came under suspicion, making her desperate.
She had sometimes acted as a courier for the Hessians, Freyja trusted her. This led to Hannah taking the decision to attempt to strike a deal with a local Rheinland officer. She would give him the names of the Hessians, and the location of their base and in return she and her family would be allowed to leave Rheinland safely. However, things did not go as planned and the Military betrayed her after Freyja, assassinated Hamburg's governor by blowing up his personal ship.
She spent the next few months in a dungeon at the tender mercies of the BND before they finally forgot about her. In the state of mind she was at the time, she believed she deserved it, though something in her refused to give up and let death take her. Finally, she managed to escape one night and stow away on a cargo ship, which unbeknownst to her was headed to Vogtland. She eventually ended up in the Army. In order to survive, she was forced to become hard, suspicious, even as she latched on to some of the fellow gang members as a sort of surrogate family for the one she had betrayed.
It was brutal initiation for someone that had grown up in an ostensibly peaceful location. Now without friends, family or any support web, she was on her own for the first time. She murdered, stole, tried Cardamine for a while, And finally decided, she had to join the Hessians completely.
There, she rose through the ranks to the position of Oberleutnant, growing steadily more disillusioned with the Hessian's methods. Finally, she could take it any longer, and broke away from the Armee, despite maintaining sympathy for it's cause. She now seeks a new home with the VWA.
What brings you to our cause? Growing out of touch with the methods of the Red Hessians, wishing to do some good for Rheinland through more peaceful means.

Place and year of birth: Planet New Berlin, 800 A.S.
Personal Background:
I was born on Planet New Berlin and raised by only my mother, i had to drop out of school very early because of my mother, she was working as a nurse for Rheinland's veterans until she got diabled by a very tragic accident. I knew that if i wouldn't get a job, we would starve so i applied for almost every Job here and got denied all the time.
I tried to get a few monthly credits by the government so i could at least feed me and my mother but i only got told that "If we would give every Rheinlander a loan, we would be poor" and at that point i discovered that the our government is corrupt and should be replaced by people that work hard. I was very desperate and didn't know what to do, i had nobody who could support me and i had to support my mother so i thought for a while that both of us had to die. I never really wanted to but i knew my last chance was the Militär so i wrote myself in there to get a good experience with flying. My mother begged me to not do this because she was sure i would die and then she would be all alone but i told her i would return and then we'd have money. I left and took my things with me, i will never forget the look on her face when i left but i knew i had to.
When my basic training was gone, i left the Militär through a little "hole" in their guidelines and joined the Red Hessian Army to improve myself and work for a cause i could believe in. When they accepted me in their ranks i trained all the time so i could be a decent pilot which worked. I flew under the command of Anna Heinrich and Hannah Feinen.
What brings you to our cause?
Recently i found out that Hannah would leave the Armee and i asked her why she would do that, she said she wanted to help Rheinland through a more peaceful way and would join the Vereinigte Widerstandsarmee and told me i should do that too. I researched about you and thought that she was right, this is the right movement for me, i was glad to be accepted in the ranks of the Hessen but i would take another path. Now, i am here, hoping that you would allow me to fight for your case and give my life for the wealth of Rheinland.

Frau Hannah Feinen,
You are by far not the first person to become resentful of the Hessian's methods. They have grown out of their ideological methods for long now, and Dresden has become a breeding ground for pirates rather than revolutionaries for far too long. As such, I am glad that you actually managed to break away from them, and welcome you as an Aktivist within the Widerstand. Once you arrive at Bruchsal, give the officers your credentials and they will assign you to the living quarters.
Herr Jonas Lehrich
I can only stress that we are not the red Hessians, neither do we try to be. I am furthermore very glad about you taking to the paths of reason and diverging from the path of piracy towards a more thoughtful approach. As such, I will accept you into our ranks. You will be assigned to the living quarters as you arrive at our base.
I sincerely hope that you do not disappoint me, you two.
Welcome to the Widerstand, Aktivisten!
Personal Background:My parents are ex krugers they leaded a medium life , i was raised in planet new berlin , i have finished my BE there and went on to work for an Indie miner the Bretonian Nombium fields , i have been a loyal servant of kruger for several years.
What brings you to our cause?
The reutliegen Incident, I've Been betrayed my Vatherland. Innocent Lives of my crew members were lost and the last thing i heard from my corporation was to keep the base up and running until your last breaths.Lives of my Fellow Comrades Were lost and I the Rhineland goverment didn't have any apathy towards them. This Corporate Greed & the government of rheinland should fall.
I am sorry that my response took so long. The aftermath of the Reutlingen incident has struck all of us with a lot of work, and as a result we are all overworking ourselves to the best of our ability.
Your story is one of the many we hear within the movement, and I am certain that you will find many likeminded people aboard our home. You are accepted within the ranks of the Armee. If you manage to take the ferry 20-1202 from Kreuzberg Depot, you will find yourself aboard Bruchsal base in no time. Just make sure to use the password 'Schwarzer Haufen' with the security guard on the entrance.
I hope we will see you here soon.
Dr. Annika J. Haupt, Oberst and commanding officer of the Vereinigte Widerstandsarmee
Born on Planet Nuremberg to a family that worked both as employees for Daumann, Sarah lived a poor life. Her parents never had much to spend, which pursued her on most of her schools. She was harrassed over the fact that most kids were richer then her, teasing her with having stuff that was gifted to them by people that were more fortunate with their wages. This didnt hold her back however, and she finished her engineering education quite excellently.
She soon applied for the RFP, but was disgusted by the amount of corruption that had ridded their ranks with filth. This, coupled with the governments total disregard to the families of those who suffered from the pirate epidemic in southern Rheinland drove her to find a more suitable organization, that wishes to stabilize the government. This led her to the VWA.
What brings you to our cause?:
The will for a fairer, stronger Rheinland that cares for its citizens. I am also hoping that working for you may help bring justice to the corrupted officials, and to purge the government of the infested few that I had ran into during my patrols as a cop.

This Galaxy is vast; its wonders and beauty are almost unfathomable. But the galaxy also hides dark secrets, some of which have lain dormant since the beginning of time itself. There is a danger in secrets, both in seeking and in knowing. Some things are meant to be hidden from view. Some mysteries defy understanding, and sometimes even the things we think we know are untrue. Some secrets should remain untouched.
Personal Background: Well what to say much, I born in a normal civian family. My father was working as a trader and my mom took care of the household, her small job and the raising of me in to be a "good woman who will have a better living than her parents". So I grew up in a loving home and studied hard to make them proud and took a job in a libary once I had to decide on what I would like to study. Even though I have to admit that I enjoyed the work with the ancient books stored there, where only a few people had access to. Including me since I prove myself to be worthy of taking care of those documents and supervising those who wanted to look in them for their studies. Sadly an incident forces me now to change my life to something new, well that and my wish to finally give my life a meaning I want it to have.
The "incident" is that... How shall I say it, I used one of the oldest heaviest and most expensive books in the libary as a weapon to knock out a student who made a rather idecorous move on me and I paniced. Since I know that this student is the only son of some high animal within the government. I decided that leaving the live behind would be the best step to prevent them from ruining my family and the boring future I might have get. And I am not making things up, that is what I was told from this guy. I mean come on, threatening with his Papa like a little boy. But from a spoiled brat like him I expect only the worse.
So I had to come up with something new and decided to do something I would have never even tried because I do lack self-confidence when things get important at times... Just like the fact that I still not know what to learn for my later life or the realisation that working in the libary was just a lie to myself that I can plan there and I am simply scared since I want to do something I really love. But I lack inspiration what that could be, but I am good at organising things and keeping the overview over important matters. Nevertheless I need to change some things because of my tiny loss of self-control.
What brings you to our cause? I need to do something more drastical to find the way I want to take as my own and I think that die Vereinigte Widerstandsarmee is the best place for me to find it. Rheinland seems to need you more than the governments wants to believe. With this as my own opinion on the current things it seems rather logical to apply to your ranks.

Personal Background: I suppose the best place to start is with my parents. My dear mother was a Wraith pilot in the Rheinwehr, and she would often take me off-world in my father's civilian shuttle, do a little flying around Altona, all in good fun, teaching me to handle the shuttle when I was of age. I like to think she inspired my career in space. My father though, his employment with Republican Shipping as a low-level manager is what put me through university. I majored in business management, expecting to fill his shoes someday, with a minor in political science. That last part wasn't exactly a coincidence - both my parents had Bundschuh party sympathies, at least at the time, and they'd often discuss the latest efforts of the Volksfront when we had our moments in quiet, so this was something I wanted to learn more about beyond the sparse information they'd impart to me between their busy schedules, especially if it necessitated such hushed tones.
It was about halfway through my schooling, though, that my mother defected from the Rheinwehr after an explosive NeuralNet argument between her and my father. This apparently coincided with the decline of the Volksfront leadership, since I remember them becoming more and more angrily verbose with each other leading up to this incident. My father had told me that she had defected for the purpose of joining the Red Hessians, which infuriated him to no end. He managed to motivate himself to the point that he left me with a sizable sum of Sirius credits, said it would be enough to keep paying my tuition until he was back, and that he was leaving to find my mother and bring her back so that she wouldn't end up consorting with "murderous socialists". He took his shuttle, and he left. I haven't seen either of my parents since then, and I'm not certain I want to anymore. My school fund ran out and my father still wasn't back, so I dropped out and entered Hamburg's tourist service industry. It was a dead-end living like so many others, but I was lucky enough to have mentioned my minimal flight experience in my resume, and apparently that caught the eye of some Orbital Spa and Cruise gentlemen there to work out a deal with the locals to ferry people there on holiday. They offered me a job starside and I took it.
Now that we have that out of the way, I can get to what matters. I flew for Orbital Spa and Cruise for several years as a shuttle pilot, and I've been in scraps against the Rogues before, so I'm not too green when it comes to a fight. I've also served as freelance crewmember on-board a Serenity-class transport for two years as a navigator and second officer. I had a good captain and a tight crew, so I like to think that counts as experience working with a team under pressure. I consider myself to be a practical man for the most part, and I think your resistance might be in dire need of such people.
What brings you to our cause: Well, part of the reason I left Rheinland in the first place was to get away from the ideological struggle that up and stole my parents from me with little explanation. At the time, I just wanted nothing to do with it and to get away, try and find my own path in Sirius. What made me reconsider was being on the ground on Leeds about six months ago. My old transport captain was Bretonian and a patriot, and he and a few of us would occasionally smuggle in medical supplies to the Armed Forces fighting on the ground in a rented freighter, while the rest of the crew took a temporary leave on New London. Seeing him so eager to ferry wounded soldiers and refugees to emergency facilities on Cambridge, you could tell that this was where he was meant to be, helping his people. It made me think of Rheinland, the toils our people have endured under this farce of a government, and it made me want to be here, doing something that mattered instead of trying to eke out a life as a freelancer for the rest of my days. So, I suppose in short, I'm here for the sake of the common working man and woman of Rheinland, to work towards giving them a government that looks out for their interests. This is where I think I should be.
