Have you considered a texture pack? It's a long shot, but when my planet textures started losing resolution when I passed by them I put on my texture pack again and now they look a bit better.

You could get a 460 and run FL fine, but I was suggesting that considering I doubt Reid only plays FL.

Ye, my 1GB card I was borrowing off a friend was Radeon and worked fine. But I bought an R7 370 a few months back and since then my desktop's textures have been broken. I've been playing on my laptop since then, but it also has Radeon and works fine.
Yeah the issue essentially started to appear when AMD rolled out the new R series two/three years ago. You can find many tales of old games suddenly not working on these cards despite when an old ATI is plugged in the old game suddenly works fine (true story with an old HD 5770).
