A/)-Eta.Carinae, A/)-Arae.2 and A/)-Claymore has been sanctioned for:

Bounty Hunting Rule 4
4. Mercenaries, freelancers and bounty hunters may be hired on the spot in game by non-generic IDed players to assist with a combat without a forum post. The other parties involved in the combat must be made aware of this.

Consequences:

This is a really old report. It's our fault for not getting to it until now, predating the time before you were given your new official faction ID. If you had the ID at the time, you wouldn't be facing this sanction, though sadly at the time what you did was a no-go.

The problem at the time was that you were assisting the Hellfire for attacking someone. You had no right to be assisting, as you did not have any active bounties by that faction to do such a thing. The rest of the issue is explained in the rule that was broken. Nobody was made aware that you were hired at the time. (You certainly don't seem to be according to server logs) - Money and guns have been stripped. Only money has been taken from your SRP ship, where a mark has been made on your SRP request thread.

What do you mean no right to be assisting? They're an allied faction.

Pilot carrying this quasi-lawful ID is a Freelancer, who:

Can attack any ship in self-defense or to protect an friendly or allied ship.

Auxesia has been allied to HF for a very long time.

The Hellfire faction is not allied to the Freelancer ID by default.
Thus you can only use that line when you're assisting other users with the Freelancer ID.

If that was the case, then the Freelancer ID could engage in any battle with the claim that "We are allied with that faction"

MY SRP says I can assist allies. And my faction members can assist the SRP because it's the same faction???

After a short talk, you were right in regards to your SRPed vessel not having this problem apply to it.
