Just flying from one station to another brings the chance that you will have a run in with NPC's or possibly a Pirate...... or someone who is out to get a blue message just for the heck of it.
Imagining the look of disbelief on their faces when they get taken out by a supposedly weak transport is almost worth the risk. lol

I am just saying that if you have a lot of ships you want to refresh quickly then that is a way to do it without having to fly for 5 mins with each of them.
thanks nom, normally i just log a ship for few seconds and i still have kept them, if things have changed since doing that, then ill be doing what youve suggested

That'll make a separate wine instance with dedicated prefix and will grab (or redistribute) all the required libraries?

Linux is not officially supported for Freelancer. There won't be development time spent for it on my end.
The future launcher will use Mono or something similar though, whenever there will be time for it.
