Ageira doesn't have 5kers, so it's up to the few of DSE) members in their unarmed 5k'ers to deliver 100 loads to West Point. So far, early in this event we've spend hours trying to get the cargo where it needs to go, barely delivered the 3 loads. I'll see how the situation goes but so far the event feels very challenging since NY is under pirate control for the last 24 hours. Libgov will get a nice bill I hope.

Well said hehehe, that pirate activity in New York recently... makes things almost impossible.
They are a HUGE fleet in NY and no enough law reinforcements available. Just imagine what happened the first day... 12 unlawfuls against 5 lawfuls... not counting hired freelancers. I remember when people said about keep "balanced" the battles... some navies joined unlawfuls when they saw they was too many lol.
And for these events... would be great to return the hability of 5kers to use Jumpdrive in group. Actually only Serenities are the max cargo ships (3600).... keep the 4 system limits, maybe 5 would be a bit better, but this would help a lot in the hard tradding job, or... the return of the Barge.

If those gate parts give you absolutely no profit whatsoever, then I suggest you fix this. Unless you want to have the gates closed for a large amount of time. Nobody will invest time to ship those to West point if they get pirated 3 times on their way there and get no profit from trading said units.
I will stay away from those gate parts until they give a good profit.
The issue here is that I cannot balance this particular trip between time spent and the actual danger. As the later is a non-consistant factor.
I could make it a good profit due to the pirate activity right now, but it will just generate free money once the pirates eventually log off. The trip is only four lanes, I cannot make it be worth millions.
However the issue here are the pirates who pirate those players for demands that are near ore-trader levels.
I think I will just remove this commodity from the tracker for now as a compromise. Gonna do that now.

Nah, I had a talk with Ageira, Tutashkia and DSE and came to the conclusion that expecting roleplay is rather silly. I would rather stay true to the motto of provide the ground for RP to happen, but never expect it to happen.

Greetings, this is just a friendly thought from a friendly somewhat confused player, dont take it the wrong way please, im merly stating findings regarding this event from a traders eyes. Se it as information that can be useful in future or disregard it entirely
I am currently trying to trade those "Cheap hull plating" only problem is that they are not cheap?
They cost 5k each?
Secondly they only sell for 7k each acording to event information? Only 2k profit/unit for trading thrue a sea of pirates?
Third: the premanufactured gateparts cannot be bought without a 5k cargo vessel, where in the event information did that say?
I took my DSE Bison over there but coudnt even buy any due to less then 5k cargospace?
Its more profitable to trade normal commodities if this is correct wich i hope is not the case, otherwise its a fun event with many involved
Best regards, Hauleman.
EDIT: just saw your reply above regarding commodity prices and why Sindroms.
Thx for clearifying.

You buy them for 5K, sell them for 5K plus a 7K bonus.
