It was announced and planned as a BAF-Corsair event. It was discussed whether 3-sided pew was wanted. And decided against from the side of the organisers. You were told on TS. You knew it. You were pleaded to, not to bring RHA to ruin it. You were asked to stay out on TS and not intervene. It was also explained why. And still... you did it.

I never pleaded anything, it wasn't an event written up on the forums. I talked with pepe and told him it wouldn't happen again already. That being said, if it isn't written up on the forums between two sides, and my members want to log and do stuff I wont stop them. It's an interactive server, interactions happen regardless, making this argument that it should only be between the groups you decided upon on skype is like auxesia arguing they should be able to cyber with LH 300k above the plane with no one interfering.

Quote:When you found out that it was not posted, and therefore not protected by faction rights, you decided immediately to bring Hessians and do what felt like ruining it for those who actually wanted to have a nice, easy BAF-Sair fight - as planned.

You're right, we got involved, but not to spoil anyones fun, we were going to pick and shoot the side with more caps and snubs but that all changed when you engaged our snubs just as we came out of the o-5 jumphole to omega-3.

Quote:The way you did it, the way you talked, the way you now renamed the channel on TS to "This party's over", the way you came into the TS channel afterwards... it all seems to prove your bad intention. You wanted the event to not take place.

I renamed the TS channel yesterday when we crashed a pvp interaction similar to this one between the BDM RM and Unioners and killed them all. Funnily enough, no one there had a problem with it.

Quote:You ruined it for BAF, who was sitting in Omega 3, with no Omega 5 ZoI, while Sairs and Hessians shot each other in O5.
"We're perfectly content"-Thunderer on skype after I asked him in the BAF chat, seems you're mistaken. We engaged in o-3 where they could shoot, in fact it was the same place you and your cap fleet died. So I don't see how it was ruined for them.

Quote:Just answer this:

What is so hard to accept the wish of the event makers?
It is hard enough to get things organised.
And you had to go against it, fully knowing that it would ruin it.

This mentality is really bad.
This mentality ruins the motivation of those who still want to organise things on Disco.

And, you succeeded: it was a bad event. It was a zero fun thing.

The planned event never happened.
We had no BAF-Sair fight, as we planned and wished.

Qestions 1-3 asnwer: I'm not going to deny my members logging to play their inrp purpose in their zoi within the rules. Its a videogame, you win you lose, you're older than most of us here but right now you're acting quite less mature by wasting your time and my time complaining here.

Asking me to tell my members and and my faction they can't play the game because other people want to play the game their way.

Again with the auxesia and LH analogy.

Diplomacy is nice, but it's usually the ooRP reasons for ad hoc alliances that prevail: which player is better at PvP, who do I ooRP hate more. All in all, someone always has a bad day and gets ganked. Sorry for today's gank, but I hope it's proven the point. The BAF have had a nice time (except while we were sitting in front of the o-5 jh, idling, as we can't go to o-5) killing all the RHA and the Sairs, but I doubt those two had. Well, until the BAF killed all the Sair GBs at least, and then left the Sair snubs at the Hessians' mercy. The Hessians had fun, I'm sure, but it was thanks to the Sairs that all of this has been organized. And it was them who have had the worst time. I think that's unfair. Please log on the Sair or BAF side (or allied with one of these two) next time so everybody can have a good time. Pure RHA raids without Sairs are nice too, but this one was organized by the Sairs.
Thank you in advance.

I already talked with you on skype, so your point is noted.

We saw the situation that Bretonians are outnumbering Corsairs by caps and have no snubs by themselve. We planned to use our caps against Bretonians to help Corsairs (because they were outnumbered). And give an actual snubfight to Corsairs (because Bretonians didn't have snubs back then). Corsairs jumped on us and tried to gank once we jumped. We had to retreat to O-5, because of this situation:

We don't need you to balance an event for us.
90% of people on each side have a BAF or Corsair and it would have been dealt with, so please, stop with this nonsense.

Those that are involved in the event have been contacted a day or two before it started and we agreed to it.
In fact, we even let you know that it will be ONLY BAF vs Corsairs, which you obviously ignored after being told several times not to bring a third party.
If you wanted to participate in this, you could have easily logged a Corsair or BAF and have fun with us, instead, you ruined the fun for two other sides.

16 corsairs vs 3 RHA

If anyone's fun was ruined here, I think it was RHA's.

That being said I already talked with pepe so if you want further explanation from me just ask me it one skype, I respect you enough not to hold you to this thread filled with tears.

If you are politely asked not to do something and choose to do it then perhaps the same people who chose to ask you in the first place will not do it again and instead will outright prohibit your access to a particular event, as could be the case this time.

So what you're saying is nobody should just bother asking. Noted.

Yes, Corsairs are not about the balance as you see on my screens.

Have to agree here with @Clavius and @Thunderer . When you already get asked nicely to stay out of this as Hessians you could really do this favor and just log one of the two involved sides. Such actions ruin peoples fun and make oorp hate just grow. Do we need this? No we don't. Next time just accept it. If you cannot do this you will quickly notice how many people suddenly dislike you. Oh and Kalh.. irp isn't everything. Gameplay and Community related things count too.

I don't dislike Kalh, he's in the faction after all. Please stop making oorp attacks towards my members.

It's funny you argue that gameplay is greater than RP considering you're the same person that flies GC ships into liberty and talks smack to lawfuls as they get ganked by pirates. Then when people shoot you from the lawful side you claim its not ok inrp.

Please look at yourself before you make such claims.

Funny. It has been ages since this event and.. surprise. It really isn't okay irp. But who am I to argue about stuff with you in a faction feedback thread.

EDIT: But well. Guess next time your members could simply talk to the organisers more. Same goes for them. Wait with the event next time, get stuff discussed properly and maybe have a nice three sided (and balanced) event instead of just two sided with a sudden joining side.
