You'd be surprised at how difficult it is with all the limitations we have to play a suitable role as antagonists. The Nomads (K'Hara) aren't exactly interested in banter. They're out to kill humans. A lot of humans.

K'Hara doesn't really have a problem with this, though. If anything, the ID fit much better before Spazzy decided to go on a one-man crusade to gut it for no reason other than to make himself look important. The only Nomads I have a problem with are the pretentious, condescending verbose kind (see also: Vagrants, various other badly done Nomad characters through the years). If I wanted to read reams of semi-coherent, badly written bollocks about the light and warmth and trying to 'understand humanity' or whatever the hell people still think is original these days, I'd still be back around the age where I was playing Portal 2 and thought atheism was great banter.
Basically, the point is that the less talking and the more killing K'Hara does, the better they fit their role. Unfortunately, there's a neverending parade of whingers who shout down any form of PvP or interaction without enough words in it for their liking. I feel like that particular subset of people would be more at home playing the Hanar from Mass Effect rather than Freelancer's own Nomads, but there you go.
As I already stated in your personal feedback threat, nothing has changed with K'hara since your post about changes related to them. That post is 1.5 months old, and as someone who is active in the Omicrons and has kept an eye on every single time a K'hara dared to log, it brought no difference. You made a, what I consider, unreasonable
Quote:You will have till the end of the year to fit these requirements.
Only other factions you are in are allied to Khara. - they will be reviewed and scrutinised.
and some reasonable demands
Quote:You will fly two hours minimum and two posts minimum per month in the mindstream this is a commitment if you fall short its ok but it cannot persist. You may lose your capacity to fly larger ships.
Interpersonal issues will be aired out discussed and resolved immediately
Your Mind'Node will be tracked and given capacity for certain ships and these will be publicly tracked in these forums. This is essentially your rank. you gain capacity and mind power to create all sorts of things and in some cases hybrid characters with human like expressions.
It is one of the most unfair things to restrict people to not be part of other factions that aren't hugging nomads, and it's actually a good thing that you didn't were consiquent with this approach, given that Auzari, Vendooter and Kalh have their SRPs on factions that are hostile to K'hara. However, the other aspects were promising. Yet you suddenly lacked the firm hand you wrote about in the very same topic. What happened? Your members need that firm hand. They need guidance, they need goals to log and to do K'hara RP. One of your guys doesn't even know how to use that term appropiately, while at least two of your active guys prefer to shit around first and think later. K'hara got a very bad reputation recently, and what you demanded could have helped in changing it.
Instead, Auzari was pretty much the only person that actually did forum RP with Nu Mus Da in her personal nomad RP thread - the worst thing about it is the fact that is just a means to the end to have K'hara partake in the siege against CR|s Minerva base. Hell, even Aoi did more roleplay than K'hara lately, which is a welcomed change, as they are actively working on their reputation currently. What did K'hara do in the meantime, though? K'hara pretty much build on the activity provided by Piombo who constantly has no idea on what to do and always tries to cling on the Vagrants, as we at least have goals to log for. Like, I can't remember any Vagrant session where he didn't try to get in the Vagrant chat group to find out what we are doing, to join us. Then we have Operator, who got promoted to K'hara HC member as a result of changes, so he was suddenly motivated to log Hecate on regular basis to try to keep K'hara's online time above the Vagrant one - he told us about that, and I think that was a fair and legit motivation to log his Marduk and fly around in house space with it. It's a stupid reason to log, but it is apparently a reason to do so.
Then you have Kalh, Auzari, if not even Vendooter logging their Marduks, however only when it was required for an already ongoing battle, which is something I criticise, as K'hara shouldn't be a second RHA, where either nobody logs or everyone logs mass-jorms for a siege or a capital battle. K'hara had higher standards, and those were gone from the very moment where the decision was made to share and permit Marduks without a reasonable amount of roleplay to earn that priviledge. Marduks aren't just warships for gameplay. They represent K'hara, and currently, K'hara is represented by "Quick, let's drop minimal engagement lines and go in when we benefit from it!" instead of being what K'hara used to be: Powerful, mystical and instransparent beings. Something that players could look for to log for and try and find out what they are about to do. When @Alley was playing Ish'tar, it wasn't logging in order to get blues in first place. Logging Ish'tar was something special. She was there and it was one of the best examples of less is more in all kinds of actions. There was no /1 /2 and go. There was no weird concept of writing long and hard to understand sentences either. It was like putting a kid into a room that contains nothing than a closed cardboard box. That kind of magic, however, is not displayed anymore by K'hara. Where is the motivation to do something for a faction that restricts the use of their mighty capitals to the official ones only, when you have to do literally nothing to get access to them? Instead, you have to face one, two, three sanctions related to K'hara in the short period of time from when you posted "Changes". There are even more sanctions regarding the people that are targets of the sanctions related to K'hara in general, while the behavior related to that [is] [a][constant] (those are just a few examples, with more, like certain posts in the Admin Feedback Thread having been removed for obvious reasons). I know, the people I'm pointing at will take this as personal offense once more, but seriously, if a faction is known for having people that tend to attract trouble and hate the way they do with their behavior and general attitude, it represents the faction they are in as well. In this case, this is K'hara, and when I saw K'hara logging six months ago, I was excited about it. Today, I know the names and the people behind it and have no motivation to deal with them on their K'hara chars. Auzari and Vendetta are doing a great job on displaying interesting roleplay ingame when they are logged as Auxesians and you're not red to them. Kalhmera is probably a beneficial addition to the 5th| as well, and I believe @Morosz is regulating his guys very well, as there are very, very few sanctions related to the 5th, which is outstanding when you think about Liberty being known for it's lolwuts. But why can't we have that with K'hara? When Morosz can ensure sportsmanship in 5th, you can ensure that as well within K'hara, and I expect nothing less than that. Looking forward to have encounters, be it RP or brawl with K'hara should be ensured. That is however not the case.
Make sure your people think before they write. Make sure they think before they act. Make sure they have a motivation to log not only for cheap blues when it's convenient. When the majority of players is able to avoid getting sanctioned, why should your guys be a difference? Huggie, use your firm two fingers and work on that issue. You'll see it's either a problem with the current K'hara concept that is everything else than solid, or it's simply an issue with your current playerbase. However, that issue wasn't always the case. So make sure people have to earn their access to Marduks again. Giving and taking should be equal.

Ah............
Ok... apologize me but I did this because since I was the ONLY in that time I logged as K'Hara| I saw you and I wanted to see what are you going to. NOT FOR STALKING, REPEAT! NOT FOR SOME WEIRD THINGS! But because since (in fact) I was alone there I wanted to see what other "Aliens/Infested" could do. And then... I'm trying to do a bit of RP too.
Do you remember that player? Beh, before of you I RPed him a bit. What a shame that I had to disconnect immediately. In few words I'm trying to do my part about RP but since that I don't see more K'Hara| RP from more time I started to ask me... "What should I do? Infect him immediately? And if shouldn't I do? What should another K'Hara| do?" I would have some ideas about a new RP nomad style but I'm not the leader here, not some relevant guy...
You raise some valid point... but do me a favor and keep my name out of your mouth. So i had my first ever sanction that you had to obviously mention because you are Sombra the all mighty. How does me getting a 2 week forum ban for trolling AFC on the forums relate to my Nomads that i RP? It does not. I tire of you always having something negative to say about me. Ill say it again, keep my name out of your mouth. You dont go seeing me disrespecting you on the forums so dont do it to me.

Right, you reserve yourself that right on Skype and PMs ingame. Your general attitude has brought you a certain reputation, Kalh, and you really should refrain from venting your anger or boosting your ego based on insults or controversal behavior in general against other community members, because as member of any official faction, your actions will mirror the playerbase of your faction. Factions will always be judged by their members, and when two of five active members of an official faction are known for short fuse and throwing F-bombs around as if they wanted to win a war that way, it's simply poor show.
