I'm taking a day or two off to process what went on.
Perhaps it's not justifiable to expect others to act accordingly to your own expectations. When a player has PMed me in the past stating an issue, I have a self-rule that I heed it and don't cause them issues. It's also very much off-form to raid people during missions - people who would have otherwise cruised away to avoid violating the mission area.
It's absolutely poor form to grief people. It's absolutely poor form for lawfuls to successively demand a cargo drop from a smuggler right after they've been taxed beyond the value of their cargo by lawfuls of the same IFF. It's absolutely poor form to kill people in missions. It's absolutely poor form to jump on transports with battleships.
Where to even begin?
From this point onwards I will not be bringing my personal activity to your system. Other Unioners can do what they wish.
Good day. I'm very upset an SRP character decided to jump into this as well.

Listen here pal, dont come to Liberty with Illegal Cargo, an Enemy IFF and ID and them Proceed to PM me about your problems... There are RP consequences for everything... and yea my SRP character was involved... because i was the one who caught you... this is a RP server not a PM server.

So It's normal protocol for an official to demand a cargo drop directly after a 20 million credit fine, is it?
Say goodbye to any Texas raids until I've seen better behaviour. I'm not endorsing bad conduct by pandering to it.

I paid 5 million to a total of 4 LN indies during the same run. This is why I PM'd in the first place. I also stated I was doing missions because the end station of the run was undockable.

That is no where near my problem... you got caught and you got fined... any reasonable person would do their best to not get caught again... im sorry you had this issue but i dont deal in PM role play.
Edit 1: Doing a mission or not, dont be so close to the trade lane... thats how i found you.
And to be clear, Jack was the one who set you free... if i had my way you would have been destroyed. UN have been the cause of a lot of issues. in RP Jonathan would not have allowed you to survive.

I didn't get fined, I got a full cargo drop demanded of me, plus a fine.
No pirate would do that. Pirates want the traders to come back so they can pirate again. Why a way lower bar for smugglers, who are less active and have less to gain? Would you attack a stargazer who was slightly over the level limit before they had purchased a fighter, on route to purchase a fighter? Sure, you could do it InRP, but what's the point? How does anyone walk away from that and think it was a good time?
So that in total would be 23 million credits lost in 20 minutes, plus a complete drop of cargo (which adding in cargo purchase + consumables is 23 million credits), plus the mission failure through death, which meant that a shared ship would lose docking access with junkers, a rep critical to making the shared ship functional. Add in a bit over hundred million credits to reset the ship, you're looking at nearly 150 credits wasted in 20 minutes because a PM was ignored. No pirate would ever do that to a lawful.
Encounters are about ensuring the other person wants to come back. You didn't manage that today.
