Well... This is by far the most perfect example of the music that gives me a lot of ideas. I like something relaxing, inspiring, filled with atmosphere of calm and emptiness... Whenever you feel that there's nobody except yourself, this music, the text and your characters.

It depends on what mood I'm in, what character I'm writing for, what mood the character is in, and what exactly it is when I'm writing. However, nu-disco is my default/go-to music for when I need to get something done, whether it be RP or powertrading, because of how energetic and uplifting the genre is. Blende's "Rikki" is probably my single favorite song the past 6 months or so. When I'm PvPing, though, especially when flying Hellfire or Xenos, KMFDM is basically a must. I'm particularly fond of KMFDM's album WWIII for PvPing as Hellfire. <3

Various artists, but all fall in the category of this video:

This Galaxy is vast; its wonders and beauty are almost unfathomable. But the galaxy also hides dark secrets, some of which have lain dormant since the beginning of time itself. There is a danger in secrets, both in seeking and in knowing. Some things are meant to be hidden from view. Some mysteries defy understanding, and sometimes even the things we think we know are untrue. Some secrets should remain untouched.

Still my favorite band:

For some reason the soundtrack from Napoleon Total War inspires me to write better stories. I have no idea why, sometimes the music is entirely unrelated to the subject.

For things related with Admiral Sir George Richard Hall, I use variations of the Fandango, the Folía and the Sarabande.

For Gallic things, Les Follies d'Éspagne by Jean Baptiste Lully (Louis XIV's composer), It Was Him Whom the Gods Had to Choose from Isis, an oratorio of his, the Sailors' March from Alcyone by Marin Marais and his Bells of St Genevieve, as well as some other pieces by these two composers. The Return of the French Princes to Paris as well (unrelated to these two).

For Klemens Kossuth, my RM character with Hungarian and Sephardi origins and a violinist, I use the Hungarian Dance n 5 by Johannes Brahms and Di Goldene Pave, an unrelated Yiddish song.

I find listening to the Beatles does me good.

When I'm doing something Kusari-esque I listen to Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun OST.

Otherwise, I either don't or listen to orchestral music or some stuff from Jack Trammel, Tom Player or Posthouse Tuomi.

But overall it depends on kind of RP I'm making and in what house.
