Perhaps we could compromise between carpet bombs and forward firing bombs, and make them launch at a 45 degree angle instead? It would help a bit with aiming and they would feel like the torpedoes in SW Battlefront if anyone remembers. I sure liked how those worked, though I think they were homing.

The proton bombs don't home in and fly in a arc. the torpedoes and Missiles do home in but fly in a straight line if you don't choose a target. And I'm all for the dive bomber feel that the first concept of these gave.
I am certainly interested to see where this takes us. I am not opposed to taking away SNACs and others in return for some good weapons that inspire other types of fighting styles. It seems especially useful in One v One.

The effects were already existing in game and they are from the original and removed mine droppers.
For example that gold effect it's from Driller mine which has been removed years ago and that bright blue it's probably from the Razor mine dropper.
Nothing too special about the effects. They look like a group of mines exploding very fast.
nope i can show you entire code if you want, so you can compare them with vanilla effects.
All effects basically same because of textures, if you want different looking you are welcome to create new textures(that is more than 10 texture for each .ale)
Only bubble effect on EM Bomb impact is same with Nuclear Mine detonation effect, they are same because it is the easiest way to make bubble looking effect and also performance friendly, i can make a bubble effect with glow textures but then you will say "its same with pob shield effect" and also it will drop fps because it will generate more than 200 particle
This looks amazing, and would make bombers feel like bombers and not glorified SHF's
PS also rip mjolnir its just anti gunboat and med/heavy bomber
waste of 30 mil i just wanted to know what it felt to chain fire spam 2 mini razors xD

It's okay, keep at it. It's good to use the easiest method.
