Huge, unwinnable ganks in both numbers and ship classes are inexcusable regardless. I do believe you're also exaggerating - the five players you fought weren't the absolute cream of the crop, no matter what people in this thread claim.
If you lose a five versus two against two (much) more skilled players, it's likely you at least both had a chance at downing a few players on the other side. In addition, you'll actually likely be rapidly improving and fixing this "problem" for future encounters.
Nobody currently good at snub PvP got there by being defeatist and just throwing huge numbers of snubs, capitals and gunboats at small groups to win (and to ensure the other side has no fun at all and will be bitter, and likely try to take revenge in the future). They just accepted that you lose sometimes. More people should consider adopting that attitude.
*) I wasn't anywhere near the fighting the feedback thread is currently discussing, so I'm talking more in general than anything.
Apologies If I made a mistake during the fight, concretely assuming you're aces and you can deal with us. Yes, I thought so, at least at the end while I was firing Templar. He destroyed BG from a Freelancer organization so I had to interfere moreless 10 seconds before he died. I also hired for the help of another BAF agent, while firing the guy. Then I realized 2 more people were shooting at him at the same time, tho I was really low on bots. So yes, I did think and assumed I was gone, so asked Arthur Cuttingham if he can fire as well, who interfered at the end of the fight mostly. Though I shoot down the Aoi, there I realized It was 1) Lucky MR hit. 2) A gank. (after seeing the numbers)
I did what I thought it was fair.

Well i was there for the first 5 minutes ... i can say i didn't manage to hit a single time but i don't care about losing or wining hehehe
The definition of gank can be very different things, i call a gank someone who is very skilled killing low skill players (happened alot in WoW, high level players ganking low lvl players) also a gank can be what you are stating and yes i concur, bringing gunboats, caps etc etc it's way to much.
But believe me @Haste when i say, any of the 5 Aoi players on today's fight would win on a 5vs1 against the top active BPA players but that's no shame for us and you won't find any of these players being defeatist.
For example earlier today, 2 bombers and 1 VHF got completely "ganked" by a single corsair gunboat we didn't even scratch him but was fun
Also we do know that for achieving that degree of pvpness it would require lots of practice, something that most BPA players don't have time to do but we always there even if it means losing
To be fair, both sides got their blues. It was pretty obvious BAF/BPA would never have been able to do any kill without using numbers to balance.
That Bretonian Dunkirk indie clearly had no idea what he was doing when he silent-engaged, but he at least moved out not even a minute later when one of the BPA/BAFs and I told him to move out.
Havoc made a really cool escaping manouver, using the outer kill zone of NL's sun to escape with the cloak. That was pretty cool. I first thought he was sundiving like the other Aoi.

We come in with two people at first. Naturally, you find us with four and engage.
More of us appear. There were five in total in the end. More of yours appeared, eight fighters on your side engage.
Despite you having the number advantage, you shieldrun your way to Planet New London and try to fight us in orbit. This is five versus eight and the planetary defences/NPCs/bases.
You call in two solaris gunboats against five fighters, while you have eight already engaging. The cherry on top is a battleship that began sniping fighters.
Many of your members often say they encourage fairplay and complain that they didn't receive enough. This is demotivating people from bothering to log.
Please explain your hypocrisy. Don't use the excuse "but ur aces!!" as only two of our five could actually deal damage to your fighters. Those that got damaged went away to restock.
As the Leader of BPA), let me respond to this original (it seems to be the first feedback in 18 months) Post.
There is no need to hijack (and I noticed the pun) this Thread. We are happy to receive Feedback, good and bad.

I am very interested in this statement, because, as far as I am aware, most of the Members of BPA) do not post in other Feedback Threads.
The Members consist of:
Myself
Pulha - 2 i/c
*Omicega - Logs once every blue moon
*Jack - Logs a bit more frequent that Omi, but is rather infrequent
*Legionaire - joined yesterday
*Shaggy - joined 2 days ago
*Saurissimo - tends to be fairly inactive
Smokey
Ayman
Homeros
And a few others that may log once in a while.
Now those 'many' of the Members, without the asterisk (*) tend to be the more active Members. What they lack in PvP skills, they more than make up for in their enthusiasm. We do tend to die a lot, but we try our best.

I would like to understand where this comes from, because I think I have explained that above. I would suggest that you aimed this 'Feedback' at certain people and not at BPA) as a whole. If so, please make your feelings known in a more constructive manner or even take it to pms/Skype/TS.
As for whether you had PvP Aces or not, quite possibly 1 or 2 of your people could have quite easily 'wiped the floor' with the more active Members of BPA).

No, I am not condoning this, and on behalf of my Members, I apologise, if this is what happened. In their defence, when I am in a fight, I become very focused, to the extent I don't read messages as they appear on the screen, as I am generally trying to stay alive (I don't even type and fight, as I die even quicker whenever I try, if that is possible).
Haste - In all the years you have known me, my ability to shoot open space has never improved, is a skill that I mastered very quickly and something I excel in.
'I would like to be half as clever as some people like to believe they are' Life is full of disappointments, it is how we handle them that helps to define us, as a person
I apologize for my bad call for the GB to deshield the Lynx fighter.
It was a bad call, but I can only say in my defense that I was convinced that this burning ship was glitched somehow, and that I had a lack of overview (numbers, players, etc) due to lagging and having to rejoin the fight several times - so I can only take responsibility for the one mistyped command that made it into local and drew justified criticism.
If that makes me the worst person on the planet, over whose 1-sentence-decision people quit, remove me on Skype, deny me conversation... should join my team when we get worse things nearly every single time, without an apology or explanation afterwards, and even some rule violations as a bonus feature. I have to say, I am really surprised how this is going and I feel like going back on my FL-break. I had a great weekend without this mess.
I am kinda disappointed by the performance I saw from one of your members today.
So, what happened is, I was in the Dublin gold field with a few miners and traders, aswell as this police gunboat. I arrived rahter late, so the only thing I was able to read from the first logs were the words of the policemen, which already seemed to be a bit hostile (screen 1).
Then he flew away, docked with the nearest base, logged out, and an Molly logged in at the very same second (screen 2). As it was kinda obvious that it was the same player, I pmed him and told him what I was thinking of this (screen 3). I didn't get an reply, and he managed to kill one of the miners (screen 4).
This is really sad to see from an official faction I used to respect. I hope you can make sure something like this won't repeat itself.
