Mi decided to go with nothing too complicated and just prepared a few sweets and two glasses of finest Junmai Ginjō-shu Sake, she left the bottle in the kitchen but didn't care to use the traditional glasses, why should she?
She came back into the living room with a tray and a huge smile on her face. "Sooooo.. watashi no ai~" She giggled weakly, put the tray on the table and got besides Florence, hugging her with one arm. "That Sake should be just perfect for you, it's the highest quality one I found here.."
Curiosity won, before Florence even made an attempt to answer, she grabbed the glass of Sake and took a very little sip from it. She tried to figure out several tastes from the drink with this single slurp. It had an odd taste, uncomparable to anything gallic, it tasted rather "sharp", what she found was a bit missing was the flavor, but that was her typical gallic tastes, not that she expected it to be even similar to gallic alcohol, it would have surprised her if Sake tasted like something fruity or aromatic. The quality of the drink, however, was clearly noticeable, but this was her first try on it, so she didn't notice. "Hmm... I can't describe it, it is not bad at all but it is so... foreign." She said and giggled. "And watashi no ai what? You know I can't speak Japanese, chéri, you have to teach me first." She leaned back against Mi's side and wrapped her arm around her, of which she basically jumped out when she grabbed for the glass.
Mi chuckled amused, she couldn't even wait for it! Mi took a small sip herself, she was way too used to its taste but still prefered kusarian whiskey over it. "Your lips taste foreign too.. you know?" She surpressed a giggle and as she quickly calmed down again she added: "But I hope you like it, it's.. unusual, hai. Mmh, and dear, shouldn't you be aware of this sentence's meaning by now?" As if she was going to make it that easy for Florence, no way!
She still played around with the taste in her mouth when she heard Mi's remark about her lips. "Oh Mi... you're so direct and always with something dirty in your head." She said and smiled while placing her Sake back on the table, she knew the taste was not to get out of her mouth forever, though. "I sadly cannot really remember the meanings of your sentences, they somehow just fly out of my head again, probably because I am busy, I wish I would memorize it all. At least it is sometimes being replaced with a nice image of yours." She had to bring something in that had a compensating charme attached to it, while she really wanted to be able to speak Japanese, she always failed to see the meaning behind the very same sentences Mi said to her.
Minami just leaned closer and gave Florence a short kiss before she drank a sip herself, sighing weakly. "Oh dear, remind me to get someone to teach you a bit Japanese, maybe I do it myself?" She giggled a little and then looked with love at her."Watashi no ai, my love." She repeated, suddenly remembering the first time she told Florence this.. somehow she got lost in these memories as if they were long ago already but they truly were not.
"Watashi no Ai..." Florence whispered and looked Mi deep in the eyes as she did so. "My love..." She figured and smiled. The stress and all the things and issues she had to worry about made her forget about the meaning behind those words. "I'm sorry I forgot it, it never was my intention." She felt sorry and slightly embarrassed at the same time, her cheeks blushing a little. She shifted her head slightly to the side, the left side of her head being hidden within the shadow of her long dark hair. She kind of hoped Mi to look away from her now, the glance she gave her was like a penetrating shot, although being lovely. "Now it is carved into my mind, I promise." She said and grabbed the glass of Sake which she emptied finally. This action was much more about getting her eyes of Mi's than emptying the strange kusarian drink, and she knew that it was disguised horribly.
Minami noticed all to well that her love tried to distract her of her embarrassed little blush, but Mi kept looking at her, she knew it was going to make Florence even more nervous and she had to admit that she enjoyed it so very much. She giggled a little once her love emptied the glass and with a weak smile took it away from her, staring at Flo with a view that left no doubt what Mi wanted to see as apology for having missed the meaning of those sweetest words."Flo..." She just whispered then, keeping that look of hers up, oh just how sweet it was to play a bit around with Florence.. she truly missed this and knew the next days, as well as the future time was going to be filled with sweetness.
A deep sigh came from her as a response, the whole situation was so uncomfortable and unnecessary at the same time, she looked back at Mi and decided to just say what she knew Mi wanted to hear. "I'm sorry I have forgotten it, and generally neglected you... us." Her words fell out heavily, it took pride to excuse, even for her. But it was just a small sentence that caused this weird silent trial, as it felt. Fast paced, she got up and looked at her with a happy face. "Now let's use the time instead of staring at each other, we did that too often, non?" She thought about walking around now but had no idea what to do, if only this situation wasn't as uncomfortable. Her eyes wandered around and scanned the area, looking for something she could distract Mi with, it was pointless, though, she knew that Florence just wanted to turn this into something more enjoyable than piercing stares. Though, for now, she just stood in front of her and waited for her input.
She surpressed her giggling after Florence really excused like this and stood up herself,
smiling brightly she looked at Florence, then the cute question came.."Flo.. I am not sure, staring at you is so wonderful. And.. baka, you don't need to apology. Not like this atleast!" Mi winked and took a step towards Florence before she suddenly hugged her tightly, amused she whispered into her love's ear: "My little fool, there I thought it was obvious.. kiss me already~"
Without any further ado, she kissed Mi, as she was still hugging her. Her lips pressed against Mi's was, as always, an exotic feeling that rushed like a wild temptation through her body. "Those were my good manners taking over." She said and giggled after finishing their kiss. Seconds after, she had her arms wrapped around Mi's neck and her head pressed against her shoulder. "I'm not a baka, though." She jokingly said with a calm voice, her one hand grabbing the other one behind Mi. "I already forgot what we wanted to do, if I am honest, you made me forget it!" She shouted, but it wasn't mean seriously, her smile gave it away... too easy.
