Earlier today I made visual contact and later established a secure line with the GMG| run by Hotaru Mori. During the communications, they dropped the fact that Rheinland's corporations were now entering into the Sigmas to mine the Helium. The GMG had to leave early in order to enforce their laws and their own declarations of war against Rheinland which was understandable. I asked them to supply any information they could regarding Kusari's Navy's involvement in the Sigma crisis as the last data we have on them seemed to signal that they had moved to the Honshu system but it seems unusual that they would remain there especially since the GMG has now begun to take violent action against Rheinland's civilians in the Sigmas.

Since entering into the service, I have participated in a number of engagements and patrols along the front, both solo and in cooperation with other BAF assets or SIS agents. I am pleased to report a decent degree of success against Gallic military vessels. I have personally observed an increasing number of friendly forces in battle zones, and excellent cooperation among our units during defensive ops. That seems to have lead to a higher number of enemy casualties.
To follow up on the embargo of Leeds, that has been a different story. Although I have had a decent degree of success in intercepting cargo shipments, halting their flow to Leeds has proven difficult with limited resources at hand. I have, however, enlisted the help of a few independent Bretonian Privateers in pursuing trade to the region as well. With a little encouragement they have proven fairly effective at covering patrol gaps.
Summary of notable activities:
1.A fast paced engagement of Gallic capital vessels near the wreck of Freeport 4. An allied fleet assembled to defend against the incursion. I believe 2 Gallic battleships were destroyed, and a third Molly 'Rogue' destroyer was forced to withdraw. Scans
2. Previously unknown Gallic battlecruiser destroyed in cooperation with a privateer (high orbit over Leeds). Scans
3 Encountered a detachment from the QCP (Queen Carina's Privateers) in Leeds, patrolling for enemy trade vessels. I gave all the info I could that could help them, and a little encouragement. Scans
4. A strange Royal Navy Liner was caught along the lane out of Tau-31 to Tau-23. Unfortunately, the ship only contained wounded casualties, so I was inclined to allow it to proceed out of the system, with a discretionary $10,000,000 SC fine and a strict warning regarding further trade across the embargo zone. Scans
5. A GMS train was caught hauling Aluminium ore towards the Planet Leeds. It was given orders to drop its cargo, but it fled and managed to escape back into the lane while I was distracted with other nearby ships. Under cover as a local mercenary, I placed a bounty on the vessel, in which it was eventually destroyed and claimed. [X] Scans
6. A similar EFL vessel was caught in the same location along the trade lane from Stokes Mining Station to Planet Leeds. It was carrying a variety of supplies. I also bade it empty its hold, and it also fled. Unfortunately, with the new location of the battleship Castres, I was unable to destroy the vessel before it could seek cover. Scans
7. After an impromptu patrol into Gallic territory, we were contacted by a Blood Dragon requesting an escort into Bretonia from the Taus with a run of Helium-3, to exchange for consignments of Whiskey in Dublin. At least they have good taste. We were happy to oblige in the interests of the continued fostering of good relations between the Queen's special services branch and the Blood Dragons. They remain sympathetic to our cause, and have a great deal of influence in Kusari affairs. We saw a pair of their vessels with an allied scout in and out safely, and they all seemed quite content to get their delicious Bretonian cargo. Scans
Unless otherwise instructed, I'll be continuing my regular inspections of the embargo zone, and Leeds front. Any agents, BAF assets, or privateers that could be allocated to embargo enforcement would greatly increase our efficiency out here. Although we cannot intercept every ship, it did seem as though our very presence was often a sufficient deterrent against the majority of blockade runners. Otherwise, we will be need of desperate action in the northern zone as soon as possible.

While on patrol today with a Privateer we made contact with the forces of MRG| in Tau-31. This action followed the encirclement of two civilian Gallic trade ships by the privateer. It seems likely they called in military support. A squadron of fighters and a gunboat arrived and there was a convergence of forces near the Holman junction. Thankfully, a detachment of QCP| pilots and a BAF| answered our distress call and a large fight ensued. I managed to escape and reload to return for a second go. Both times our lines finally collapsed, but only after a ferocious fight. When the last of our forces were neutralized, I managed to evade and circle back around to Newcastle to regroup. High casualties on both sides, but unfortunately we had to yield and disperse. Regular patrol shall resume asap.
I must also report that I have made contact with the captain of a [UC] Unione Corse freighter (that was caught running prisoners across the embargo line). He complied with my directives and offered some information regarding a major Gallic supply operation going on right now in the war zone. That confirms my suspicion as there has certainly been a notable increase in Gallic supply ships going into Leeds. I have made contact in the hopes of fostering possible relations with them regarding the supply of information on Crown activities. They expressed interest in gaining unabated access to Bretonian space and offered to moderate for a ceasefire if ever desired. He seemed to express anti war sentiment that may represent a sympathetic camp within the greater UC. I have tried to get more details from him or anyone in his organization, and have offered to pay handsomely for the exact info. Currently i await confirmation they may want to make official contact with us. I will report back as soon as I get more information.

[07.11.2017 23:32:03] [SIS]-Jonas.Hudson.: That was a cruise disruptor
[07.11.2017 23:32:09] [UC]V-Houston.Express: We are holding for inspection
[07.11.2017 23:32:13] [SIS]-Jonas.Hudson.: Where are you taking these prisoners
[07.11.2017 23:32:22] [UC]V-Houston.Express: Uhh...to prison?
[07.11.2017 23:32:48] [SIS]-Jonas.Hudson.: Well they have no business being transported through Leeds, this system is under an embargo to all Gallic vessels
[07.11.2017 23:32:52] [UC]V-Houston.Express: We are most definitely NOT selling them off as slaves, no sir.
[07.11.2017 23:33:10] [UC]V-Houston.Express: I see. Would you suggest an alternate route?
[07.11.2017 23:33:44] [UC]V-Houston.Express: We want no trouble here.
[07.11.2017 23:34:07] [SIS]-Jonas.Hudson.: Yes, not through Leeds. You must turn back, or be escorted to the nearest Bretonian base in the system
[07.11.2017 23:34:21] [UC]V-Houston.Express: Novak: Captain here. We're turning back.
[07.11.2017 23:34:30] [SIS]-Jonas.Hudson.: And since there is only our landing pads on Leeds, probably best you turn back
[07.11.2017 23:34:37] [UC]V-Houston.Express: Novak: Good day.
[07.11.2017 23:34:51] [SIS]-Jonas.Hudson.: Please avoid Leeds from now on captain.

[07.11.2017 23:35:10] [SIS]-Jonas.Hudson.: Or you will be suspect of supplying Royal Navy installation. Fly safe captian...

[07.11.2017 23:36:21] [SIS]-Jonas.Hudson.: We don't take chances captain. Even prisoners can actually be saboteurs, spies, enemy subversives...
[07.11.2017 23:36:51] [SIS]-Jonas.Hudson.: Since there are no prisons in Leeds, best not to cross the embargo line unless an emergency
[07.11.2017 23:37:06] [UC]V-Houston.Express: Novak: All the more reason you should have let us through, and NOT request for us to land on Bretonian installations, hmm?
[07.11.2017 23:37:41] [SIS]-Jonas.Hudson.: We can process them at one of our installations, letting them go to an enemy base is unacceptable
[07.11.2017 23:39:44] [UC]V-Houston.Express: Novak: Well, we go where the money goes...some jobs are odd but...hey...it's a war after all...
[07.11.2017 23:41:33] [SIS]-Jonas.Hudson.: Indeed. Unfortunately, all Gallic nationals are banned from Bretonia, including the Union Corse
[07.11.2017 23:41:59] [SIS]-Jonas.Hudson.: Its true we don't usually confiscate live cargo due to manpower constraints
[07.11.2017 23:42:49] [SIS]-Jonas.Hudson.: otherwise I'd have had to escort you out of Bretonia. Next time, you may lose your cargo and be escorted to the Taus
[07.11.2017 23:43:19] [UC]V-Houston.Express: Novak: Truly unfortunate that business has to come to a stop due to war...perhaps we will meet under more favourable...
[07.11.2017 23:43:36] [UC]V-Houston.Express: ...circumstances next time
[07.11.2017 23:44:58] [SIS]-Jonas.Hudson.: Aye, we have encounted many Gallic nationals who are not involved in the war
[07.11.2017 23:45:19] [SIS]-Jonas.Hudson.: All we can do is warn against entering the war zone.
[07.11.2017 23:45:49] [SIS]-Jonas.Hudson.: For everyone's safety. Aye captain, perhaps one day when the war is over *nods*
[07.11.2017 23:45:52] [UC]V-Houston.Express: Novak: Truth be told, we are not in favor of this war
[07.11.2017 23:47:27] [SIS]-Jonas.Hudson.: That is good news. We all hate the war, its thrown everything into chaos
[07.11.2017 23:48:13] [SIS]-Jonas.Hudson.: Hopefully more Gallic citizens will lose support for the war, and it will end sooner
[07.11.2017 23:48:41] [UC]V-Houston.Express: Novak: If you have any ways to bring the fighting to a stop, we would be willing to, ah, assist however we can.
[07.11.2017 23:48:54] [UC]V-Houston.Express: Novak: But you didn't hear that from me, ok?
[07.11.2017 23:49:25] [SIS]-Jonas.Hudson.: Good to know. We can always use all the help we can get.
[07.11.2017 23:49:37] [UC]V-Houston.Express: Send me a message on the Neural Nets if you need anything that might be difficult to do from outside Gallia
[07.11.2017 23:49:52] [SIS]-Jonas.Hudson.: But right now, stopping fighting means winning the war the old fashioned way
[07.11.2017 23:50:28] [SIS]-Jonas.Hudson.: the best help we can use, is information.
[07.11.2017 23:50:55] [UC]V-Houston.Express: Or perhaps a stalemate and ceasefire would do for starters.
[07.11.2017 23:51:11] [SIS]-Jonas.Hudson.: Any info you might want to pass on to us, about the Royal Navy, or internal Gallic activity, would be put to good use
[07.11.2017 23:51:50] [UC]V-Houston.Express: Well, information on Gallic troops would be treason, but...for the right price...
[07.11.2017 23:52:04] [UC]V-Houston.Express: The higher-ups might be persuaded.

[07.11.2017 23:53:31] [UC]V-Houston.Express: Well let me give you a little freebie: There is a large resupply operation going on. If you want more information...

Decrypting Message ---
Dear Colleagues,
Mr. Skirka wanted me to contact the Gallic Brigands to figure out if we can use their hideouts in Gallia. I will attach the conversation to this report.

This is a follow up on my contact with the captain of a Corse Unione freighter. He has sent me detailed information on a this Gallic front supply operation that's been ongoing recently. I am requesting assistance in confirming the information. If it is true, they may indeed be trustworthy, and I would recommend further contact to open negotiations with the [UC] leadership. I told the contact to stand by for the time being and await further follow up.
Regarding the content of the intel he revealed, if true, would indicate that our efforts to maintain the blockade have not been in vain, and I would request further assistance be stationed to the Leeds resistance base for increased patrol. It also may help us indicate vulnerabilities in the enemy lines.
He also revealed the identification of a possible traitor or spy, a freighter captained by a Bretonian that may be involved in the supply operation. While this information is being processed, I will follow up on that lead personally. Otherwise, I await further orders.

Jonas Hudson Her Majesty's Secret Intelligence Service, Bretonia
Agent Tarkin
The Directors have discussed your recent conversation with the Gallic Brigands. You are authorised to begin negotiations with them for potentially better deals such as trade. Further instructions will be given before you depart.
Agent Hudson
You may move to the Leeds resistance base to continue your operations in the Taus. You may contact the Privateers if you need assistance. Furthermore you are instructed to keep in contact with the Unione Corse and discuss the moving of sensitive cargo should the need arise.
Agent Grayson
You are ordered to move North into Kusari. Further instructions will follow. Remain unseen or you will be terminated.
Agent Jenkins
You are to report to planet Cambridge as soon as possible. The Directors have a special assignment for you.
I've arrived to Kusari, specifically, Roppongi Station in New Tokyo. Awaiting further instructions. Of course, I used a different name and took a ship that can't be associated with our organization, so you won't have to bother with termination.
Just a little heads-up. I have arrived on Cambridge at our HQ, awaiting further instructions about whatever you have assigned me to (which, by the way, does sound promising). Hit me up once I am to be briefed.

Defense Staff:
This is another follow up on my contact withe Union Corse regarding our procurement of vital intelligence. I am pleased to report that the [UC] in general is open to limited cooperation with SIS on the leaking of information they receive regarding Royal Navy activity along the front and occupied systems. They have expressed interest in being exempted from the embargo of Gallic civilian organizations entering Bretonia, and even are open to helping supply some BAF operations if it was found to be prudent. As I informed them I would, I can only place the recommendation that we (SIS) adopt new protocols and give the [UC] a pass while in Bretonia for the time being, allowing them to move freely. Even if they do wind up interacting with enemy forces, we may gain vital intelligence from them as such. Lastly, and only on their behalf, I request an official referral of the matter to the Admiralty Board to decide on changing current BAF/BPA rules, at least secretly. The Unione Corse know they would have to keep their arrangement a secret officially, so if a change at the government level could be made, the BAF and BPA could also adopt new protocols on the matter. I believe this would serve the interest of Bretonia with the long term investment of deep enemy penetration and intelligence gathering.
Here is a link to my most recent correspondence with them: ----> Transmission Log
Additionally, throughout the course of my regular patrolling of the Leeds front, I have had a few small engagements and acquired some useful information on enemy activity;
1. On a routine patrol I spotted a GRN battleship operating in the area, the 'RNS-Tours'. I chose not to engage as I was heavily out matched, but I did manage to gather some technical data on the vessel before losing track of it and withdrawing. I can confirm this vessel is maximally armored and employs a Cloaking Device. I recommend the deployment of anti-cloaking countermeasures to the front.
2. While patrolling the main lane to Leeds, I caught sight of two Gallic corporate vessels (GMS and EFL), a transport and fighter escort, on their way to Leeds. I missed them inbound, but a short time later they came back through the same route and I intercepted them. The transport refused to halt or drop its cargo and was destroyed. Its escort did a decent job of keeping me on my toes until I made it back to Leeds where I manage to use the planet's curvature to get cloaked and withdraw.
3. I intercepted a pair of Republican vessels taking a 'short cut' through Leeds between the Dublin jump hole and New London's. I determined they were not intending to supply the Gallic presence on Leeds, and escorted them to Southhampton Shipyard safely with a warning. This is an example of neutral civilians crossing the embargo, I believe this should be caught and discouraged as much as possible to avoid any confusion with those supplying the enemy.
4. Again while patrolling near Leeds, a strangely nameed Gallic Battleship was spotted in high orbit, designated <AG]VR-Gascogne. It seemed to withdraw once it realized it had been detected and docked with the Battleship Castres. I succeeded in getting partial scans of the vessel. Aside from its callsign, its only noteable cargo was that of rather large cache of Sirian Credit cards. This would seem to suggest it may be a high value target.
5. While on routine disruption of the Stokes -> Leeds trade lane, a Gallic Battlecruiser and Gunboat dropped in right on top of me. I immediately engaged, but fire from both vessels kept me on the defensive, and I withdrew while I still could. I found the presence of these ships using the trade lane strange, except I later noticed on my records that a GMS vessel had appeared on my scanner for just a moment, and likely passed us by using the lane on the way to Leeds. This may indicate a heightened sense of urgency among the Gauls with regards to their supply operations, as they were obviously the advance guard for the civilian vessel.
I shall continue to try to rally local militia and privateering support around the embargo zone for the time being. The allocation of any further agents, resources and funds would be well received.

Transmitting to SIS Command:
As ordered, I just made a fly by of the Tau-31 -> Leeds jumpgate for an up to date appraisal of the structure. Physically the gate seems intact and functional with only some general carbon buildup, and light residues in random concentrations throughout the superstructure. There also appeared to be intermittent oxidization all throughout the outer hull, probably the average result of age. Otherwise, it appears its status has remained unchanged for some time. Its programming remains under the control of the Gallic Royal Navy.
As to security, patrols seem light and there is still no permanent Gallic navy presence stationed near the gate. The nearest military posting seems to be Battleship Dax in orbit of Planet Harris, or New Tours Watch Station, adjacent to the IMG's Holman Outpost. The area around the gate, and the 20k or so of trade lane leading towards it are usually exposed, and is vulnerable to the launching any kind of attacks.
I have enclosed photographs of the target. Until I receive further orders, in lieu of the [Queen's Decree], I'll be temporarily pulling back from my position in Leeds to regroup and help organize defenses in New London.
