I just wanted to add that, reasonably, something like the Azurite reactor in Delta would never have been allowed to stay in Delta. The Nomads would have rather destroyed it rather than have humans harvest their resources that easily. The idea of placing it there in nonsensical and it should've been placed in Iota, where there is that inactive Nomad Lair, since that one is effectively useless anyways.

I would love to see it in Omicron Lost tbh. It would be further away from Delta and attract more people.
Me watching the daily drama turn into yet another Disco-doomsday discussion:

Switching Iridium Ore and Azurite Reactor. Sorry, forgot to mention that.
That would make the placement even more nonsensical, however. If Azurite Gas is supposed to be a vital component in hybrid tech, why would the Nomads place it not right where they can keep a close eye on it?

Because of the seemingly normal traits, it was not thought to be terribly remarkable until specific experimentation was attempted.
When energy is refined into a constant voltage and current, Azurite begins to absorb the energy; the molecules begin reacting drastically and begin to bounce around in the containment system. If exposed to any sort of high-energetic matter, such as Plasma, the Azurite infuses immediately. The notable property of the new infusion is that it likes to keep its state. For example, if the Plasma was spinning in a certain shape or form, once infused it will keep the motion and shape until either the infused gas is changed automatically by the energetic matter, or forced apart by perhaps an impact."
By far the most lucrative known source of Azurite Gas is an alien structure rumored to exist in the immensely dangerous Omicron Delta Edge Nebula. According to rumor, energies radiating from within the structure convert the resident minor alien organisms inhabiting the nebula by over-infusing them with energies; this causes them to vaporize into freely-floating gaseous Azurite.
It takes on energy put into it and self-sustains until acted upon, similarly to a capacitor, which stores energy in a static (unmoving) state, where a current or transfer of this energy (dynamic/moving) would be like a conductor or super conductor. We write infocards for the purpose of clarifying the gray area, and in many cases these infocards dictate (even within the rules) how items are interpreted. To say it is "pure energy" isn't wrong, as long as the energy absorbed was also pure, but "pure energy" is a theoretical, and unobtainable (unless otherwise stated elsewhere).

Muchos gracias senor.
As an example, does this mean Azurite can lead to more powerful adapted weaponry because it allows for more efficient energy transfer?
Technically, yes. IRG has a great portion of the corporation centered around the study of Azurite, and it plays a key role in the functionality of our power cells. To use it in the concept of weaponry is moderately unpaved at the moment, but by all means achievable. (IRG has plans of making a weaponry line SoonTM)
