Normally my GC (Kiretsu tagged) gives everyone at least one good pirating, and certain people get a repeat of it over and over, and I go out of my way for it.. Lokani..

Try flying through Omega-41. I'm sure you'll meet afew Corsairs. (especially OPG).
If you want a varied experience, with the occasional pirating by different people, go in BIG LOOPS around Sirius, allowing you to encounter all sorts of players.
If you use a repetative short route, people are likely to ignore you, or when someone does discover you, they'll pirate you again and again, which is also no fun.
You should also note that many many pirates are currently doing exams, and have been unable to play much over the past few months. Things will improve.
In Liberty space, you can find "Edward Morris". If he is sober, he will pirate for about 5,000 credits. If he is drunk, for one or two credits.. depending of how much rum does he need to stay alive!
Its a pity that some traders actually tried to ran and shooted at eddie's gunboat when beeing pirated for one (1) credit... dying in the process.
Conan will plant himself on the tradelane just outside of the s13 jumphole (and outside the wilds patrol area). If he disrupts your TL just hand over the diamonds and all will be well.
Well it seems you can't satisfy traders ... first they complain because they get pirated too much ... now they complain they aren't getting pirated at all.
Sorry ... the Black Pearl is presently in dry dock. Getting a bit annoyed at all the Bounty Hunter capships parked outside Yanagi these days. Yup ... the Black Pearl resides at Yanagi in Sigma 13. The ship travels inward now and then ... but predominately hits traders on the Niobium/Diamond run.
The Pearl may be back soon ... but you might wanna tell the Bounty Hunters to tone it down a bit on the heavy guns. Like I've said before ... piracy is on a decline because there's just way too much firepower on the lawful side. In the house systems you got the house uber-caps. Outside the houses you've got the Bounty Hunter uber-caps. We pirates are limited to gunboats ... go figure. Enjoy the money making. Just remember ... there is a limit to the amount of cash you can have aboard your ship. After you reach that limit ... your ship gets corrupted and your cash nearly zeroizes.
Enjoy the freedom ... uber-cap Bounty Hunters are probably bored right now since they have few pirates to pick on. Traders are getting bored on their never ending back and forth trade runs. House militaries and police are eating donuts because there's nobody to chase around.
No its not, its easy. Its easy when the trader is a person who wants to contribute to this forum and thus he doesn't f1 or dock on pirate base when being pirated. So stop your whining about how there's no pirates because we're all roleplaying and we're doing it in the areas where we should be doing it. That run though sigma 13 is oorp and I have been debating since the 10th day I came to this server should I or shouldn't I make a big frikkin RP story that would help me get into Wild or Phantoms just so I can shoot your sorry ass powertraders that earn so much money that you actually make capship to fighter ratio 1:1, and then you even have the decency of securing that run from the pirates in sigma 13 that usually only include Black Pearl who asks for frikkin 500k and people still whine.
If it was up to me I'ld shoot each and every one of you and I'ld do it with a group of 25 bombers and 10 gunboats 30k away from me so even your "big and powerfull" capships who should be ANYWHERE but there pay the price.
And then what happens when OPG makes a run to sig13 once a month? We get called out for OORP, we get whined at complained and Sigma 13 clears out in half an hour, and suddenly - everyone knows an other good route thats actually made trough RP.
If you're rping on other chars but doing that run, I consider it hypocritical
If you're not rping at all then you probably have a capship with MKVIII docked somewhere as well so I don't care about your business.
Yeah I'm a flamer hater when it comes to that route. So what?
