Agent Krsnik,

Our society has a very different view on Artificial Intelligence. Many of the ones in our ranks are derivative of the primary unit known as ERI. Others are either independent nodes which joined the collective, or ones we had given life to ourselves. I say given life to, as AI are our kin here. They share rights and responsibilities like any other man or woman would, and we enjoy our coexistence as it has proven to be beneficial. Many of those 'AI', as calculated and cold as they may be, would lay down their lives for their human counterparts. I would very much do the same for any one of them.

Unfortunately however, those secrets remain secret at this time. I can however divulge the method used to create one of our more deadly assets - ZU-7567 'Predator'. While he at his core exists for the purpose of total annihilation of hostile elements, he shares many of the processing traits that our more social units do. Unlike them, he lacks empathy, which is a rather difficult trait to replicate artificially using processors and code. Very few have managed to do so, and it's even rare for any of our kin to utilize such a trait.

Though this brings into question just what your Doctor is looking for. We require more details before we can provide assistance in this regard.

The Overwatch has reared their heads, much to the dismay of the locals at the Freeport. They have decided to take a vested interest in protecting the people they just finished threatening to nuke, and were I in their position I'd capitalize on assisting the locals to gain political leverage to pull myself out of the bad light I've recently been cast in. This is all hypothetical of course. The reality is I don't really care about them anymore. They can stick to fighting among themselves.

It's good that you have informed me about Daimyo Augus' attempt to barter away equipment they requested to use for their own purposes, not to freely distribute on the basis of convenience.

Before I talk about clan Augus, I do suggest you get in touch with the Doctor, I do not know his full intention for wanting to create artificial intelligence, but from what he did briefly explain it was in regards to automated shipping vessels and assets such as your Predator.

Moving on to clan Augus. Their current Daimyo is a woman of ambition, this is both a good and bad thing as ambition is an unpredictable weapon.

I do not know why she has so easily decided to offer you our ordnance after requesting to use it specifically for construction purposes of their own, but it both disappoints and concerns me with just how easy it was for her to resort to such a thing. It is fortunate that you refused, tomorrow our ordnance might end up in the hands of the outcasts simply because she requires a favour and sees our equipment as inconsequential. I will have to forward this to HWE and the Shogunate.

As for what I know, clan Augus is concerned primarily with technological advancement and furtherance of the blood dragon agenda through scientific breakthrough and cooperation on the basis of intelligence.
