Damn, I wish I had a YouTube Channel to make advertisment for the game or show off the systems I build and other modifications I do for the game.
Oh wait, I do. The difference is that I actually know what the community can deliver and where you're simply asking for too much. People won't, without a payment or reward, do crazy amounts of work just because you suggest it in one of 500 threads per year that do the same. The best way to make a change is making a change by actually doing something yourself. The admins and devs have already enough to do. If you think that making an epic trailer is that easy, just do it yourself.
Do it. We don't need ideas, we need ambitious people who dedicate their time to do the things.
Definitely. If you have the specialised skills for it, do it. Other people are already doing their jobs. You only need to ask things of them when there arn't people to do the jobs they're listed on the forums that they should be doing.
"Jobs" is extravagantly nebulous, anyhow. Nobody gets paid for the wetwork that keeps the wheels moving.

Wiki I can do, it's not so difficult. At least I do not see any difficulty in this.
As for the trailer - it's really difficult, but I just offered an idea. And who will carry it out (if at all) is not my concern. I just push people to action, no matter how strange it sounds. If there are any, I will try to collect the composition and try to do something.
I have some ideas for a Nomad vs Zoners & Order battle video, but would need loads of people with the right ships as "actors". Got any ships in those factions, Mike? You could help with the organization. Or anyone else?

Contributing is great and appreciatd of course. Though despite it may not be that visible, there are many people who contribute more or less actually in one way or another.
However if you expect the numbers will return to 200+ people, then sorry, they won´t. Because there are reasons you can not change no matter how much effort you invest. Like that the game is getting older every year same as core of the community. Back in those golden era days most people were high school/university students, now significat part are people with jobs and often even families. Logically, they play less or even leave due to lack of time. Also dramas and toxicity. Also people can afford better computers when they have income (one of the reasons why community was so strong was that Disco can be played even on low cost PCs and netbooks) and internet connection and thus can play newer games. And we are lucky so far that Chris Roberts went on a crazy trip with Star Citizen and full game still was not released. Once it will be (well, let´s assume it will one day despite many people do not believe it anymore), it will be probably very strong competition for Disco and some people with sufficent computers will probably move there.

I think that we can discuss all this in the Discord. You know who I am. Otherwise - write here in the PM.

I know all these reasons. The power of my computer is enough for me to leave this game and start playing something more interesting. But my God, I'm here. I really like this mod. Here, a lot of people have invested their energies to promote the mod. Of course, I agree with you that now people have problems, like work and family, but I'm more concerned with the idea that there are people who simply do not know about this mod.
