Keko, why ppl whining? Ive used keep 5 pobs alive, mostly on my own... thats not really a pain (xcept for Glendalough... that really was a pain) if you want to have it, on the tutorial of how to build, it already explain how much you will need of FOW and RA daily... lol if you been circunventing that, *SURPRISE* you been exploiting a limitation of the game... gee. Congrats to whom (finally) noticed that...
200 crew x 2.5 meals/24hrs (200 meals) x 7days = 3500. That means 10,500 units of FOW to cover a week.
1440 RA per 24 hours x 7 days = 10,080 units per week. Remains the same for any core level 1 - 4.
Just to get the facts correct.
Core 1 Base uses 400 each of Food, Oxygen and Water per 24 hours
Core 2 Base uses 800 each of Food, Oxygen and Water per 24 hours
Core 3 Base uses 1,,200 each of Food, Oxygen and Water per 24 hours
Core 4 Base uses 1,600 each of Food, Oxygen and Water per 24 hours
Therefore, the actual figures are:
Core 1 = 2,800 each of FOW/week or 8,400 total
Core 2 = 5,600 each of FOW/week or 16,800 total
Core 3 = 8,400 each of FOW/week or 25,200 total
Core 4 = 11,200 each of FOW/week or 33,600 total
This is because the feeding time is every 12 hours and not 10. It has been like this for a while.

Thanks St Denis. Was using old data. Appreciated. Now I can plan weekends and holidays.
I am hereby requesting non-consuming robots instead of crew. Haven't seen any living soul on a POB anyway. If you can't be arsed to do this, then reduce the wear and tear damage to zero like in the holiday-mode.
'Jokes' aside, logic dictates that there would have to be some maintenance equipment and personnel to manage and repair the robots over time. Which could result in more resources being needed than FOW/Crew

Is there genuinely this much drama over what can be less than thirty seconds and a fraction of a trade run's profit?
Hell, I've demanded more as a pirate from Ore traders than what it costs to supply one. It's a part of the game, if you want to use your stuff, you have to deal with all the things that come with.
Oh my god. Silly owners of exploitive POBS... Arguing that this should have been in rules as exploit and crying in disbelief that now it is now public and clear statement from staff that this is the rule. How more dense can you get?.. this is good. Should have been made a proper rule years ago when first sanctions for exploits landed. Funny enough some other exploit user against POBs are getting banned for 6 months, while you lazy People get the chance to adapt without getting punished for exploiting for years for every single day. Grow some balls, please.
