12 Hours ago the Corsairs made a push towards Omega 3 attempting to take over Planet Sprague. An [SIS] unit, Telic, was there to respond along with a small BAF| flotilla led by Adm. Steiner. Telic went down but friendlies managed to do enough damage to repel all hostile forces. Report is included below, their capital ships were amongst the first to go down, so hats off to Her Majesty's Ships.

Adrienne Perry, Chief of Staff,
Secret Intelligence Service, Bretonia
It had been a long time since 004 had been back in Bretonia. Eight years in a Gallic POW camp wasn't the vacation he would've asked for. Fortunately, his cover held and the Gallians never got so much as a hint that he was anything other than a low ranking pilot in the Crayter Military. After the initial questioning, he received no attention beyond the normal beatings that any other prisoner received.
Even though the camp was staffed by conscripts and incompetents, their security was solid and professional. He spent his time learning everything he could about his hosts. Their language, culture, military structure, and anything else he could learn. He eventually managed to escape the camp and steal a freighter. After leaving Gallic space, he transmitted a short report to his handler back at MI6. Just a simple check-in to let MI6 know he was alive and uncompromised, and a request for orders.
While awaiting a response, he decided to maintain his cover for the time being. He set a course to the nearest Crayterian base for debriefing. The Crayterian officers were sympathetic, and after his debriefing, he was given indefinite leave to decide if he wanted to return to CR service or retire after his ordeal.
It was soon after this that he received orders to report to Cambridge for debriefing. He didn't recognize this Director Weber, but the recognition codes embedded in the message were correct. With a fresh set of Crayterian travel documents and eight years of back pay in his account, he notified the Crayter Military that he was taking the offered discharge and then booked passage to Cambridge.
Upon arrival on Cambridge, he was pulled out of customs by a pair of no-nonsense men in BPA uniforms. From their demeanor, however, 004 deduced that they were more likely members of MI5. He was led to a nondescript ground vehicle and placed roughly in the back cargo section. He was unable to tell where the vehicle was going, but he suspected they were taking a more circuitous route than necessary. When they arrived at his destination, he was removed from the vehicle and taken to a blank, featureless room. There was no furniture of any kind, and the temperature in the room was just a few degrees too cool for comfort. After a few moments, a flat, modulated voice came over an unseen speaker. For the next several hours, he was debriefed in exacting detail, questioned about everything he had seen, heard, and done since he dropped out of contact. His interregator often repeated questions at random times, checking for inconsistencies.
They must've been satisfied with his answers because soon after answering the last question, he was moved to modest, but comfortable quarters. He was still locked in, but he was able to clean up, relieve himself, and get a decent meal on request. After a few days of comfortable boredom, he received word that the Director was satisfied with his story and that he would be allowed to return to duty.
The following days were spent familiarizing himself with the current military and political situation, brushing up on his skills, and getting a full medical examination and advanced treatment for the injuries he sustained in the POW camp. When he was deemed ready, he got word of his new deep-cover assignment.
Gallia.
He couldn't dispute the need for an operative there, and he was easily the most familiar with the assignment. Still, he couldn't help but feel some misgivings at returning to Gallia. He put aside his misgivings, however, and accepted the assignment. He received plastic surgery and subtle genetic modifications. He no longer resembled the man who spent eight years as a prisoner, and a genetic scan would confirm that he was Gallic native. He learned his cover story inside and out until he knew it better than his own life.
When he was ready, 004 was smuggled onto New Paris to take up the life his cover story called for. After about a month, when he was sure he was undetected, he walked into a Royal Navy recruitment center and volunteered to serve. It was time to begin a new life.
During a daring raid on war material stored at Southampton shipyard by a lone Gallic fighter, a message was uploaded into the station's comm network. In the confusion, nobody on either side noticed before all evidence of the messages passing erased itself from the station's systems. It made it's way safely to SIS Headquarters with everyone else none the wiser.

Fortis Squadron leader just got back to me and it appears we've scored a victory at Magellen taking down an entire task force of Gallic battleships. We did not have the numerical and firepower superiority on our side but thanks to Cpt. John Khatri's leadership, we managed to defeat all enemy forces while taking minimal losses ourselves. The MRG| forces were a little bit too aggressive with their attacks which proved to be their undoing, our Dunkirks were able to surround them and kill them off one by one. One of our bombers also managed to get the last shot on an enemy battleship, overall, a good day.

Status report:
I've been heavily engaged over the last couple of weeks in Leeds and the disputed borderworlds. Thankfully I'm still operating without any significant injury or illness. I have stepped up bomber patrols in regards to the discovery of this new Gallic New London jumpgate construction site in Leeds. The BAF discovered the site and has already launched at least one successful raid on the installation. In regards to previous orders however, I've also conducted a long range recon patrol deep behind enemy lines, in search of possible targets for sabotage, and/or raiding.
Reports:
~Fleet Engagement - Leeds
I joined up with an Allied incursion force in Leeds while assaulting the gallic jumpgate construction site. Shot down and ejected in dogfight with Gallic fighter. Just when I realized it was too hairy, I was fried.
~Raid on Storage Depots - Leeds
Days later, I returned to the site to assess its status. With no enemy patrols in the area, I destroyed some nearby supply depots as targets of opportunity, then withdrew. The jumpgate itself remains, and we can only assume that despite heavy damage by the BAF fleet, is likely still operational and proceeding towards completion.
~Aluminium Ore Interdiction - Leeds
A patrol along the central lane lead to intercepting a Freelancer transport hauling Aluminium Ore south towards Planet Leeds. Yet another shipment of a material that poses a serious threat to the war effort. Large supplies of the ore seem to be being used by the Gallic fleet as repair materials. I let this freelancer off with a fine and warning about being caught in Leeds again like that. I have not seen the vessel since.
~Black Market Light Arms Interdiction - Leeds
On another patrol, while flying my AT, I intercepted a mysterious freelance trader hauling a rather large amount of black market munitions across Leeds. I bade the ship to halt and explain but it refused to stop or communicate. I felt it dangerous to let the weapons go, as the ship insisted on fleeing with no acknowledgment. I ordered the vessel destroyed and seized what cargo I could, destroying the rest.
~MRG-TL-'L'Esperance Engagement - Leeds
Again, while patrolling the route towards the jumpgate construction site, an MRG gunboat arrived and became hostile. I engaged the vessel but was unable to destroy it myself. Having been intending on interdicting cargo vessels, I withdrew after a brief but fierce skirmish.
~Allied Raid - Magellan System
Only a short time later, I relaunched from Manchester to rendezvous with a BAF fleet accompanied by a couple of Liberty Navy 'Atlantis' carriers over in Magellan. There the SIS provided bomber support for them as they attacked the Betheny and a small supporting battlegroup. The majority of the enemy force was defeated and the fleet returned to Manchester for repairs. Regretfully, there was one case of friendly fire. A Lt. V. Steiner was recovered by the BAF after his craft bounced into a friendly nova torpedo.
~Gallic Recon Photolog
Afterwards, I returned to my old Armored Transport and followed up on a plan to conduct long range reconnaissance inside Gallia. The ship serves well as a long range recon vessel and masquerades as a Freelancer. I had already been aware of a back route into Gallia from my time as a 'privateer', that uses the local unlawful bases as a network to extend operational range deep into Gallia. I have yet to map the entire house, but this mission did provide us with an up to date 'backbone' of a route to navigate.
On my route, we got an up close stealth scan of a passing Royal Navy battleship, and I confirmed the suspected presence of 3 modular installations with unknown purposes that should be investigated further. I have enclosed maps with the route I took with the approximate base locations marked. Note that this route does employ the local trade lane systems at times, but it is minimized. The use of stealth tech is highly recommended when using the Gallic lanes and while close to their infrastructure. Two of these bases were nearby to a mineable zone of an asteroid field. We took samples before returning to the Council Battleship La Fierte. They yielded raw Aluminium Ore. I'll have them tested, but my guess is that this field may be where most of the Aluminium Ore we've intercepted going to Leeds may be coming from. Further recon should be conducted in regards to this area.
I just returned to Manchester where I left my bombers and will be conducting regular patrols into Leeds, keeping an eye on the Gallic jumpgate for the time being.
Standing by,
Agent Hudson Her Majesty's Secret Intelligence Service, Bretonia
[To]:Defence Intelligence Staff [From]:Adrienne Perry, [SIS] [Subject]:Kempetai Incursion at Leeds [Encryption]: High
There was a Kempetai incursion at Leeds today. We managed to cover all exits and the hostile was identified. We believe there was a second enemy agent within our borders but unfortunately we were unable to identify him on time. The agent was identified as part of an organisation called the Koa, of which we know nothing about other than the fact that they are a department within the Kempetai. Aforementioned hostile attempted to suggest they were on the same side as us, and share intelligence with us after stalling for nearly 15 minutes. Said intelligence confirmed he was spying on us and not necessarily the Gallics as he claimed, and it was bad intelligence regarding the New London Gate construction site which we already knew about. Given that we were duped once before by the KNI, I gave the order to secondary agent Eldridge to assist me in eliminating the target. He was chased down to Tau-23 where the Target was eliminated near a Samura base. Luckily, we managed to get away before anybody saw us.

During a patrol into the northern taus today an unusual series of events resulted in me sneaking into the home systems of Gallia to support an incursion with the Brigands and SCRA. An engagement in the Orleanais against the Gallic fleet's first responders resulted in victory for our group before we moved into the Ile-de-France system. Before any information could be gathered however, we were set upon by a large force of MRG vessels. The engagement was long and the casualties on both sides were high, eventually, our Brigand friends were eliminated and the SCRA fighters were forced to fall back. I remained to finish off the two remaining MRG fighters before beating the retreat leaving behind two SCRA cruisers who never followed me. Their fate remains unknown, presumed KIA. I followed the remnants of our strike force out of the Gallic region and have since made my way back to Bretonia.

Initiated contact while under alias with asset 'Krsnik', without displaying SIS or any Bretonian lawful credentials. Used a secondary objective to divert his attention from my primary objective that was personal first hand review data on Annabelle Mychaela Heinrich. Here is the excerpt of said exchange of messages.
"Heinrich is a woman of respect, a matriarch, her men don't obey her out of fear, they need her. I've heard her as being described as many things in my time circling the sector, some call her an embodiment of fury. I've had the honor of meeting her personally and working with her, and in the years that I've known her, she hasn't changed much as a person, though something about her is clearly different."
"I would say I'm surprised, but I'm not. For what I'm going to tell you I expect complete anonymity, no citing the contributing source of this information and no asking me to revise or repeat it. I'll tell you about Heinrich, or at least what I myself have had the ability to observe of her, rather obviously it's not going to be anything capable of bringing harm to her influence."
"I've never been sure of what Heinrich's motivations are, but I assume she does have some given her level of conviction and occasional ruthlessness in carrying out the Hessian agenda, or at times, her agenda. As a Hessian, you follow her every word and work towards her approval, there is nothing else. As an enemy of the Hessen, you fear her, you dread the sight of the black wings of an Odin in your space. She influences the masses through fear, not just of threats left dormant but of swift and brutal violence."
"She controls the space around her even in a neutral or friendly environment and is never without her detachment of personal guards. The sort that I would most likely fail to overcome in a direct confrontation unless I resorted to tactics that would most likely result in my own death as well as theirs. If disrespected or feeling insulted, Heinrich is perfectly capable of being an aggressive negotiator and will use her raw strength and intimidating presence to her advantage, letting the fear off-set the confidence of any overly paid Statesman."
"Heinrich will occasionally lead her men in the field whenever she deems necessary, and in such instances she'll lead by example, often being the largest threat among the combating forces, she does not allow her position as the apex of Hessen authority to dull her skills as a weapon of war, that would be unwise of her. And though I have never observed any major weaknesses in the facade she upholds, she's only Human. And as of late I've not seen her without a strange apparatus attached to her face and mounted on her waist. As to what it is, I don't know, but perhaps her absence was more than a mere vacation and due to a credible threat on her life and stiff opposition from within her own ranks."

Status report:
After some R&R on New London, I have continued to make short range patrols throughout the contested systems along the Gallic front over the last several weeks. Aside from the now well known placement of a new enemy shipyard in the Edinburgh system, there are no major developments in the occupied systems. The Gauls, however, have continued to expand their trade lane network in Leeds, now extending unabated from Planet Leeds to their new jumpgate construction site, and the old Edinburgh jumpgate. I have participated in several engagements and one long range patrol. Summary reports to follow.
~Fleet Engagement, Magellan
Answering an emergency call while in Manchester, Magellan seemed quiet at the Freeport 4 wreck. The battle had drifted almost 30k above the system plane when I arrived. Several Gallic warships remained and were engaging a Bretonian/Allied fleet. They had already taken a couple of enemy ships out, and I helped finish off the rest. BAF reported a total of 3 enemy battleships, a battlecruiser and destroyer were destroyed.
~Newcastle Patrol
I responded to a direct call from Agent Skirka to meet him up in Tau-31. We had a brief encounter with a 'rogue' operated Core Battleship named The Apahanta. I was unfamiliar with the vessel, but Skirka had struck up a rapport with its captain, and was working on gaining intelligence from him regarding an entity called "Inqusitor Darkness". A follow up on that name is to be conducted. Skirka was also particularly interested in starting a profile on a "Megaera", some operative that's been coming up in chatter recently. I was going to take the job myself but we met a Freelancer that was willing to try to dig up some info for us. With a few other inquiries, we got some answers, and we'll be keeping our ears open for more. Skirka would have more on that. Afterwards, to my surprise, Skirka handed over to me a recovered Nomad Fuel Cell, that he'd got from a battle with an Order ship that attacked them and the battleship in Tau-31. We hauled the cargo back to Manchester, to Fort Winchester, where it can be kept safe and secure.
~Fleet Engagement, Magellan
Not long after I responded to a call over in Magellan again. Allied fleets continue to engage around the Freeport 4 debris field. Both sides called in all they had available on this one, but we came out on top thankfully. They keep sending them, we keep knocking them down. Another battleship and destroyer put out of action.
~Omicrons/Kusari Patrol
Later that day, I met up with Skirka again and we set out, under his initiative, to conduct a long range recon patrol out to the Omicrons. While there, we picked up sign of a Blood Dragons vessel at long range, in the region near Kusari space. So we circled around and made our way back down through Kusari, and managed to catch up with the vessel at Hikone Base. The captain was a little disgruntled about the 'impromtu' nature of our visit, but was willing to answer our queries and provide yet again intel on Megaera. Around that time, a member of the Apostas arrived at the scene to make contact with us. We must have been picked up coming into the system. Such are the dangers of longer ranged patrols. But it worked in our favor, and we got some updates from them about their situation, and they requested we follow up with more delivers of financial aid to them, and more military hardware. We should try to arrange for that asap if not already done. The patrol ended without incident, and we parted ways so I could head back to Bretonia for a break.
~Valour Interception, Manchester
Responding to a call that an enemy battleship was crossing New London, and into Manchester, I launched from Birmingham asap. I just missed the ship at first, who was being pursued by one of our Dunkirks, that was just too far our of range to intercept. The ship almost made it down to the Magellan jumpgate when I took the lane ahead and intercepted it at its bow. After disrupting its engines finally, we took the ship down without much resistance.
Otherwise, I have been investigating several contingency plans to help maintain the initiative against the enemy, and assist in our greater defensive posture. The placement of the shipyard in Edinburgh suggests the Gauls are afraid of losing territory, which means they may be compensating for a vulnerability. I suggest we consider the following plans and have them ready to execute, even as fallback plans. I have attached my assessment.
1. NEMP dispersal: All agency NEMP's should be equipped on appropriate craft, and made ready to deploy on short notice. These craft should then be dispersed to critical points along the defensive line, so the weapons will be distributed along the front, and increase our ability to get one to a critical battle zone ASAP.
2. Special Strike Teams: Assemble and deploy a small special operations force to specialize in increased attacks on enemy supply lines. Agents, mercenaries and privateers would qualify to be used for this. This force may be able to be used to attack enemy infrastructure behind the lines, perhaps via NEMP attack. In conjunction with this, we should now focus more attacks on (now fixed) Gallic controlled trade lanes in the Leeds system.
3. Defensive Bases: Deployment of 1 or multiple single core modular base installations along the front, within the contested zone. With the proper use and placement of single core modular bases, we can reinforce now weakened zones in New London, Manchester, Dublin, and even Leeds. These bases could be deployed to hidden locations, and equipped with shields, and multiple weapons platforms. Rather than attempt to establish long term, permanent bases, we should consider the option to deploy several smaller scale facilities, that require less time and resources. This plan would require the cooperation of the BAF and the Merchant Navy, but if we were to lay the ground work and perform the administration and intel gathering, a coordinated effort could allow for the deployment of 2-3 bases per month. These bases could then not only extend the range of our capital vessels once more, but provide a focal point for the Royal Navy on our terms. Assuming they would be secret as long as possible, if discovered, a chance to defend such a base is a chance to inflict damage on the enemy. Additionally, in the event of a catastrophic loss of leadership, government collapse or an attempt at surrender, secret facilities should be established as fallback positions for long term resistance.
4. Intelligence Operated Cruiser Force: In conjunction with options 2 and 3, the launching of several of our own SIS operated (classified) Crecy Class battlecruisers should be considered. Such vessels operating strictly under SIS authority could serve as excellent long range command ships for strike teams, and provide a 'secret' defense force to augment New London's defense, and to be deployed to defend potential 'secret' bases, until the BAF could take over. Having our own vessels will also establish a force less likely to be compromised by espionage.
5. Superweapons: We should continue to stockpile NEMP's as much as possible. These weapons are critical for defense from large scale fleet attacks. Pilots should be assigned as NEMP bombers, and trained to specialize in weapon deployment. Development of larger scale conventional weapons should also be elevated in priority. Also, development of any other large scale weapons of mass destruction (WMD's) now ought to be considered as a primary deterrent from any further Gallic advances or plans for long term occupation.
