Wanting SRPs to get 105% power is greedy. And before you ask, I do have 3 SRP ships.
I also dont think this causes any balance issues since 3 normal guns usually drains a VHF powercore anyway, and most VHFs have 5-7 forward.
SRPs are usually equipped to be worse than conventional loadouts as they end up with ships and guns which arn't balanced for each other's consumption/DPS output rate, or very powerful/miniboss-y due to the nature of the SRP (as you can ask for speed buffs, magic shields, guns you can make yourselves, anything essentially), which the admins will then consider and the Ballance Devs do-over in accordance to context.
The point being is that they're usually considered "puretech" for how they're kitted out within their own cannon, hence the ID. If you don't have 105% on SRP ships along with indie ships, you'll end up with lots of people SRPing 150% cores. Not so much out of intentional powercreep, just "elevated consciousness of possibility".

But won't it just give even more power (literally) to certain loadouts/IDs that will now have to be considered a factor in balance?
I'd be genuinely up for giving Police factions 105% cores, and police factions only, on their own house lawful ships. Since they're the least played mod niche. Maybe house-specific corps, not inter-house corps, on civ ships, too. Everyone else (including anything I play), can fudge around at 100%.

I was doing some number crunching earlier. A single 5% for snub craft seems rather negligible, but in some cases, 5% more core on a capital vessel might be a bit overbearing. Perhaps limit the 105% core to gunboats and below?
