@Skorak @Venkman Are ya'll referring to the lighter green textures, the darker green textures, or both?
I was thinking the darker green textures were just a temporary base mesh until the final, lighter green was finished. Or, are those intended to be the final colors?

I was referring to both light and darker green textures. As you can see on the smaller circle on the engine part, it looks blurry, that's where the problem is - blurry, low res-like graphics.

That's the idea. Although none of it is final yet, but the general look and colors are more final than the details.
The armor pieces (darker green) are supposed to be (inrp) tacked on to existing fighters to reinforce their hull, rather than the whole thing being manufactured as a brand new ship.
Decided to go back and redo the armor with another base texture because the other one was just not working.
It needs some cleaning up (and some value adjustments), but apart from that, the texture is pretty much final now.
Doing textures that fit into FL's style is more a matter of experimenting and trial and error than anything else (since some stuff don't look the same ingame as they would in other places, so it's also a bit of a "getting to know the engine" sort of thing), so instead of focusing on getting this ship just right and taking a good while before it actually makes it ingame, I'm gonna clean this thing up and submit it soon and move on to other stuff, and later down the line when I've done a few more ships and gotten a better hang of FL's texture style, I'll probably come back and drop a v2 texture on this thing.
Really interested in knowing what your texturing process is like because this is almost assuredly the best looking ship submission we've ever received.

My question is will the light around the engines be changeable? Are those light hardpoints? Or are they based on the engine effects? If not I can imagine a police one with one side Blue the other red and a strobe on the nose for good measure.
