I have intercepted a Universal Ship in New York, hauling stolen Ageira technology. As it is not a common sight, it required a punishment of higher level instead of the standard credit extortion. The moment I have started mania-interrogating the pilot, I have relayed a message to local authorities in order to disclose the atrocities Universal Shipping commits out of sheer greed and lust for power. Three officers arrived on the spot shortly after and confiscated the stolen goods. As I have to abruptly leave, I did not witness how it was concluded, but the encounter should do some damage to Universal Shipping's reputation.
Myself along with Mr.Caiboche intercepted a gunboat-class vessel belonging to the Hellfire Legion Secondary Fleet. At first the vessel fired upon us, however later in the fight we were able to gain the upper hand and after damaging force it to surrender. After the vessels surrendered, it was forced to make a humiliating statement within the system frequency.
A vessel belonging to Interspace Commerce was unexpectedly snared when it jumped from New Berlin to Hamburg. This vessel was a "Mastodon" Liberty Transport that was found to be hauling Appraised Art. Said vessel seemed to be in a hurry, however he was forced to answer a number of questions about his route, he was then extorted for 10 million credits.
Tadaa, apparently I'm still here and my silence didn't help at all but I've had me and my team working endlessly to get this project on what I'd describe as a perpetually rolling ball. It wouldn't be surprising but its very hard to restrain myself to snoop around on your networks, although to my surprise and success, I have managed to do so. Anyhow, what you Lane Hackers are probably interested in is what I came here for, to help you generate an engine and propulsion system that wouldn't be something that you currently use like the Z and XV series and as such named the LPP series, Leiden Propulsion System... Don't comment on the naming of it, I'm not exactly that creative.
As such, I've gone a little "Analogue" but I'm sure as Lane Hackers, a document kept 'offline' and in a secure archive is a lot safer than something that has the ability to travel around on the neural net. My guess this is why you've asked for a team of engineers to travel over so far from home. Moving on, I've handed in copies of said documents. We'll be keeping copies for ourselves obviously, you never know when past research might be needed for ourselves:
You'll be getting a few more completed documentations of the project in the coming week... And I won't be leaving until this work is complete. I get that you're not exactly used to androids doing the work for you. But in this case, all parties involved gets what they want.
During routine activities a Bounty Hunter was spotted near Planet Manhatten, He was lead on a short chase after which he was subjected to Electronic Warfare. Shortly after that the fight began, needless to say the Bunter was forced to retire early.

Another development, this should settle the basic concept of the LPP-200 engine system. With this design, it will hopefully fully utilise all of all components of the H-fuel composition, oxygen, deuterium and hydrogen and helium. While they are highly complicated in design, this will provide a high-power and high-efficiency delivery system. Again, this hopefully is able to use not only a basic combustion system but also the Ion drives found within libertonian engines but rather than mass production thats found within large military navies. High efficiency means you won't be burning fuel wastefully, and its high performance should allow you to obtain the edge you need within combat and long running scenarios. Just be prepared for the downtime when you need to maintain the engine. We can't have everything in the triangle of Performance, Simplicity and Efficiency.
We're almost done, we'll hopefully be covering the development of the integrated array engine systems for the Interloper along with any other details that concern the LPP-200(A) variant.
It appears that there's some sort of art exhibition going on at Manhattan, given the another Interspace vessel hauling Appraised Art to 'the people with money'. It was stopped on the way to Hamburg jump gates and extorted for a fair amount of his profits. The art was not only fascinating, it was also quite an expensive one - for these despisable corporate patsies, of course.
Moonbloom: Now-now.
Moonbloom: Cut your engines, would you? IC|Richmond: Emily: If I must...
Moonbloom: Most certainly. IC|Richmond: Emily: Well then...
Moonbloom: Still... that's quite an unusual thing you're carrying around.
Moonbloom: Where's it going? IC|Richmond: Emily: To people with money.
Moonbloom: Yes. Exactly.
Moonbloom: That means you're paid well for it. IC|Richmond: Emily: I sure hope so.
Moonbloom: Let's say - you'll share a part of your profit with me.
Moonbloom: Seven million credits shall suffice, i suppose. IC|Richmond: Emily: Depends... will that result in me leaving this place unharmed?
Moonbloom: By all means - you will leave unharmed.
Moonbloom: Hackers' words are carved in granite. IC|Richmond: Emily: Are they?
Moonbloom: They are.
Moonbloom: Even for the corporate patsies - the likes of you. IC|Richmond: Emily: Ohhh stop it.
Moonbloom: Now quit wasting my time and wire the sum i've stated. IC|Richmond: Emily: How much was it again?
Moonbloom: Seven millions. IC|Richmond: Emily: I hope you will honor your -promise- .
IC|Richmond: Emily: Money is being wired... hold on.
Moonbloom: I will - should you first uphold your part. You have received 7.000.000 credits from IC|Richmond
I have intercepted a Core APM vessel and decided to interrogate the pilot. As much as I don't believe he was sincere with me, there could be some truth in it, as the claims match with several conclusions I have made in this investigation so far.
There is no doubt The Core is Ageira Innovations' newest customer and they are attempting to build a larger structure in Omicron Delta, most possibly an atmospheric elevator in the Planet Nauru orbit to further exploit the riches planet offers. I will travel to Omicron Delta to continue my investigation on the field and collect further information on The Core.
Mr.Blackfriar': Not the smartest move.
Core|APM-Insight: Not betting on smart here.
Mr.Blackfriar': I do. Seems it works well for me.
Mr.Blackfriar': Core in Liberty, once again.
Mr.Blackfriar': And once again, hauling Ageira's merchandise.
Core|APM-Insight: Actually, that's the...seventh time today?
Core|APM-Insight: Eight?
Core|APM-Insight: Took you long enough to catch up.
Mr.Blackfriar': Shame I wasn't around to stop you sooner.
Core|APM-Insight: Guess you guys aren't what you usd to be.
Core|APM-Insight: But hey, who am I to judge, right?
Core|APM-Insight: Voice from a speaker.
Mr.Blackfriar': Don't underestimate us, Core. Your ships got burned down several times already.
Core|APM-Insight: All insured.
Mr.Blackfriar': Yet, we choose our hits wisely.
Mr.Blackfriar': By the famed Interspace, I assume?
Core|APM-Insight: Don't make me laugh.
Core|APM-Insight: You'll take whatever you can get.
Mr.Blackfriar': I take whatever I want.
Core|APM-Insight: And you'll try to pitch as a carefully orchestrated move.
Core|APM-Insight: While in reality, it's nothing but blind luck and a few shiny toys.
Core|APM-Insight: So cut to the chase.
Mr.Blackfriar': And you and your Core bastards are on top of my list.
Core|APM-Insight: I bet we are.
Mr.Blackfriar': To what? I want informations. You will not be leaving any time soon.
Core|APM-Insight: We're on top of any and all blacklists.
Mr.Blackfriar': What are your relations with Ageira?
Core|APM-Insight: Well, pretty civil.
Core|APM-Insight: And not at gunpoint.
Mr.Blackfriar': I assume there's more than that.
Mr.Blackfriar': Far more.
Core|APM-Insight: Business.
Mr.Blackfriar': What kind of business?
Core|APM-Insight: Import and export, you know.
Core|APM-Insight: Standard things, really.
Core|APM-Insight: Nothing illegal.
Mr.Blackfriar': Import and export of what?
Core|APM-Insight: Good and cargo.
Mr.Blackfriar': I prefer to hear the details.
Core|APM-Insight: Assuming we have what...one major export?
Core|APM-Insight: Iridium?
Mr.Blackfriar': And import?
Core|APM-Insight: That's common knowledge, really.
Core|APM-Insight: Really?
Core|APM-Insight: What do they build?
Core|APM-Insight: Electronics, mate.
Mr.Blackfriar': Yes. Tell me.
Core|APM-Insight: Stuff like that.
Core|APM-Insight: We buy what they sell.
Core|APM-Insight: I don't know what you are looking for.
Mr.Blackfriar': "Stuff like that" won't cut it. I am well aware of the White Boxes import.
Core|APM-Insight: But it's all common knowledge.
Core|APM-Insight: I personally don't deal with that.
Mr.Blackfriar': But the Core does?
Core|APM-Insight: Bio neurals are on my shipping list.
Core|APM-Insight: I don't know that mate.
Mr.Blackfriar': I assumed all the cargo goes through the APM.
Core|APM-Insight: There are different people in APM.
Core|APM-Insight: My job is Neurals.
Core|APM-Insight: That's what I do.
Mr.Blackfriar': You turned from a smartass to a person that doesn't know much real fast.
Core|APM-Insight: Low value cargo, no escorts, no security.
Mr.Blackfriar': I wonder what happened.
Core|APM-Insight: I ran out of ass. Or smarts.
Mr.Blackfriar': Seems so. Yet the Liberty is a dangerous space.
Core|APM-Insight: Space tends to be dangerous.
Core|APM-Insight: All of it.
Core|APM-Insight: And White Boxes?
Core|APM-Insight: How'd you find out about that?
Mr.Blackfriar': Some more, some less. But, that's not what this discussion is about. I want to know more about them. What are you...
Mr.Blackfriar': Using them for?
Mr.Blackfriar': I have my ways.
Core|APM-Insight: What are we using what for?
Core|APM-Insight: White boxes?
Mr.Blackfriar': Yes.
Core|APM-Insight: I told you that's not my division.
Mr.Blackfriar': Are you blind? The White Boxes are not used for microscopic instruments.
Core|APM-Insight: I doubt you'll be able to put to sleep before he puts me to sleep.
Mr.Blackfriar': Lanes, docking rings, jump gates.
Mr.Blackfriar': That is a correct assumption.
Core|APM-Insight: I'll tell you something, but it's super secret man.
Core|APM-Insight: Like, they'll have my head if you tell them I told you.
Mr.Blackfriar': Say it.
Core|APM-Insight: We're building a jumpgate.
Mr.Blackfriar': Hmph. To where?
Core|APM-Insight: Dunno where it leads, though, the eggheads won't say.
Core|APM-Insight: But it's odd...
Mr.Blackfriar': What about Nauru?
Core|APM-Insight: I mean, who would need a jumpgate in a remote omega.
Core|APM-Insight: What about it?
Mr.Blackfriar': Anything odd there?
Core|APM-Insight: It's only the single most prospering planet in to the deepest of nomad space.
Core|APM-Insight: It's nothing normal there.
Mr.Blackfriar': And it's under Core's possession, correct?
Core|APM-Insight: Not possession, no.
Mr.Blackfriar': Ownership?
Core|APM-Insight: More like...we're running the show there.
Core|APM-Insight: But, it's a free planet.
Core|APM-Insight: I mean, it's not a dictatorship.
Mr.Blackfriar': I assumed that. And the its riches?
Mr.Blackfriar': What are they?
Core|APM-Insight: Haven't you see the brochures?
Core|APM-Insight: The most valuable resource is oxygen.
Mr.Blackfriar': I prefer not to waste my time on reading Core's brochures.
Core|APM-Insight: Oh and water.
Core|APM-Insight: And there's this bacteria, that lives on iridium minerals.
Mr.Blackfriar': Is it? I thought numerous nebulas and ice fields cover that.
Core|APM-Insight: It absorbs radiation.
Core|APM-Insight: Feeds on it.
Core|APM-Insight: We're currently putting that to use in reactors.
Core|APM-Insight: Top notch stuff.
Mr.Blackfriar': Tell me, how do you move that kind of cargo off planet?
Mr.Blackfriar': Atmospheric entry points are quite dangerous.
Core|APM-Insight: It's really hard.
Core|APM-Insight: But, particle shields do the trick.
Core|APM-Insight: As with any planet, really.
Core|APM-Insight: And then there's this no good for anything half built docking ring decaying in orbit.
Core|APM-Insight: Bloody thing has been there rotting for years.
Mr.Blackfriar': And the APM decided to kickstart it's completion?
Mr.Blackfriar': Seems like a waste of good resources if it's not completed.
Core|APM-Insight: Nah, we're pooling resources into the Sigmas.
Mr.Blackfriar': Lusty for the war?
Core|APM-Insight: We got our own wars.
Core|APM-Insight: We don't need another one.
Mr.Blackfriar': In Sigmas?
Core|APM-Insight: The order's blight is everywhere.
Core|APM-Insight: We are always there to prevent them from "rescuing" innocent people from fake threats.
Core|APM-Insight: Or that's what the brochure says.
Mr.Blackfriar': Mhm. I'd assume the main battlefront would be Omicron Delta and Minor.
Mr.Blackfriar': I did not read Order's brochure either.
Core|APM-Insight: But I'm thinking, HC's shifting resources there, trying to colonize a planet.
Mr.Blackfriar': Seems they are far too common nowadays.
Core|APM-Insight: A brand new planet.
Mr.Blackfriar': Which planet?
Core|APM-Insight: I dunno, I'm shipping this to Durban.
Core|APM-Insight: I don't have clearance.
Core|APM-Insight: I mean, you can comm the boss, I guess.
Mr.Blackfriar': Hmph. Seems I will have to investigate that on my own.
Mr.Blackfriar': I already "commed the boss".
Mr.Blackfriar': The other boss.
Core|APM-Insight: I see.
Mr.Blackfriar': Grand Admiral Michal Golanski.
Core|APM-Insight: Oh that boss.
Core|APM-Insight: He's not a boss, he's an admiral.
Mr.Blackfriar': So perhaps we'll see each other more often in the near future.
Mr.Blackfriar': And hopefully less Ageira.
Mr.Blackfriar': Far less.
Core|APM-Insight: Deffo, plenty of shipping orders for stuff.
Core|APM-Insight: On the low down, I gotta this order for a few tons of ale too.
Mr.Blackfriar': That's enough for today. You are free to leave... Once you pay me, 5 millions.
Core|APM-Insight: How about this.
Core|APM-Insight: Three millions.
Mr.Blackfriar': And inform all of your colleagues that mister Blackfriar will be waiting for them.
Mr.Blackfriar': You've been kind, so I will be as well. 3.
Mr.Blackfriar': Yet don't expect to see my kindness often.
You have received 3.000.000 credits from Core|APM-Insight
During some attempts to assassinate members of Liberty Police Inc, I found myself in the perfect position to lure a vessel into my trap. I requested the vessel to proceed to the Galileo system to make the transfer. Upon her arrival, She was extorted for 5 million credits. No lawful vessels were encountered.
Communications Log Wrote:Mr.Thackeray: --Incoming Transmission-- Mr.Thackeray: --Open Y/N--
Harvest.Moon: --Y-- Mr.Thackeray: "Greetings." Mr.Thackeray: "I have quite a deal for you.."
Harvest.Moon: Alyssa: This is the research vessel Harvest Moon. How may we be of assistance? Mr.Thackeray: "You are in the trading business aren't you?" Mr.Thackeray: "Or is it research now?"
Harvest.Moon: Alyssa: It has always been research. Mr.Thackeray: "Who do you work for?"
Harvest.Moon: Alyssa: We are an independent operation. Mr.Thackeray: "Uh huh.." Mr.Thackeray: "Would you be interested in a piece of history?" Mr.Thackeray: "I am in possession of one Nomad Energy Cannon.." Mr.Thackeray: "It can be all yours for 5 million credits.." Mr.Thackeray: "Quite a deal if you ask me.."
Harvest.Moon: [There are some muffled sounds of conversation in the background.]
Harvest.Moon: Alyssa: Where would you intend to meet us? Mr.Thackeray: "What is easiest for you?" Mr.Thackeray: "I would propose somewhere outside of lawful influence.." Mr.Thackeray: "As the lawful look down on these sorts of transactions.."
Harvest.Moon: Alyssa: The Kepler system, perhaps. Or deeper in the independent worlds if you prefer. Mr.Thackeray: "One moment.." Mr.Thackeray: "Sorry about that.." Mr.Thackeray: "Had some urgent business to attend to.."
Harvest.Moon: Alyssa: Hello again. Mr.Thackeray: "I would propose that we meet in the Galileo system."
Harvest.Moon: Alyssa: Very well. Mr.Thackeray: "One moment.. Generating Cordnates. Mr.Thackeray: "Suggest we meet in sector G7 within Galileo system."
Harvest.Moon: Alyssa: Acknowledged. Mr.Thackeray: "Copy that." Mr.Thackeray: "Please have the funds ready.." Mr.Thackeray: "Your location?" Mr.Thackeray: Hah. Mr.Thackeray: You fell for my trick! Mr.Thackeray: Now cut your engines.
Harvest.Moon: Aisling: How rude, truthfully. Mr.Thackeray: Now.
Harvest.Moon: Aisling: You will observe that our engines are, in fact, cut. Mr.Thackeray: You will be forwarding me 5 million credits..
Harvest.Moon: Aisling: Or else you will shoot us, I suspect? Mr.Thackeray: That is true. Mr.Thackeray: However I prefer to avoid that..
Harvest.Moon: Aisling: As do we. Mr.Thackeray: Let's be quick about this.
Harvest.Moon: Aisling: Very well.
You have received 5.000.000 credits from Harvest.Moon Mr.Thackeray: Shoo.
Harvest.Moon: Aisling: As I would say to you as well. Mr.Thackeray: Don't be so disrespectful. Mr.Thackeray: It will end badly for you.
Harvest.Moon: Aisling: I think I can afford to.
I, with the mentorship of Thackeray, managed to execute all the required moves and complete the Aptitude criteria. Mr. Thackeray should have required evidence and can confirm my completion.
