We need to focus on the two big issues here: The Harmony blockade that is affecting all parties in Bering, and the clear connection between the Harmony-Legion alliance and the Nomads. We can't work on the latter until we take care of the former, though, so here's my proposal:

The Unioners will task a logistics vessel to deliver to the most available Lane Hackers outpost one full load of Ablative Armor Plating.
The Lane Hackers will, upon receipt of delivery of the above shipment, continue their selfless efforts in brokering a peace between the Unioners and Battlegroup Harmony. Whether or not they directly involve their operatives and to what extent is up to them.
Natio Octavarium will continue investigating the links between Harmony, the Hellfire Legion, and possible nomad infections in Liberty, the south and eastern Independent Worlds, and Rheinland. Additionally, our intelligence logistics cover will move into position to offer further support to the Lane Hackers and the Unioners.

If this is acceptable to everyone involved, then we will continue to use this channel to report updates on the terms as above and the continuing operations between our organizationsn going forward on this greater subject.

While the situation between the Unioners and the Inner Circle is not an overall positive one at this moment, the Natio is still very much interested in strengthening our relationship with the Lane Hackers. We're not sure what you need logistically or in supply, but I do remember Mactan being an important stop on the cardamine runs through the Tau corridor. We are currently in possession of a plot of land on Malta on which we grow "fair trade" cardamine. We have had an excellent harvest this month and would be more than willing to run a transport load down to you to keep Mactan supplied and then some.

If you have any further evidence regarding the Legion and Nomads that you wouldn't mind sharing but don't want getting out, we would deeply appreciate it. As we've been out of commission and away from the western Independent Worlds for some years now, we're not sure what happened in the past few to further drive a wedge between the Legion and the Hackers, but rest assured, we are on your side of that divide.

Mr. Corin is drinking in the video feed, openly showing that he prefers to spit out nonsense accusations without even providing us all the tiniest bit of evidence while hs is drunk yet again. Are the common Unioners really still following you, a drunk old man not knowing what he says? Ever thought about your retirement already? I would advise you to do so.
The continuation of throwing around such baseless accusations by the Unioners is not just disrespecting us but already went as far as making you yourself appear as a laughing stock and not more.

Yesterday one of the most powerful men in Rheinland visited my home and we discussed for several hours the situation in Rheinland as well as the one in Bering.

As this was a private meeting I cannot reveal what was said, however I was informed that many narratives that you have shared with us were untruthful or incorrect. While bias and exaggeration of events is something which we expect to hear from our allies, outright lies are not. In our field, honesty is the most valuable commodity and trait and we certainly expect it from those who call us friends. We do not appreciate lies just because they serve your interests and agenda.

Mr Corin you are under the assumption that the Lane Hackers are your co-conspirators in sabotaging Harmony. We are not. Perhaps you were misled by our interest in peace and our condemnation of Harmony as the party being primarily responsible for this conflict. However we have not forsaken our alliances and we will not act against our allies.

So yes, I had plenty of opportunities during this meeting to sink Harmony's prospects with Rheinland but I did not.

I hope this clarifies our position on your request.

- Rheinland federal goverment agents have made repeated attempts to contact the Separatists.

- Approximately eight months prior to the transmission of this message, a Lane Hacker, Seperatist, and Unioner vessel conversed in Freeport Two airspace over plans to co-operate with the Separatists. The agent was then penalised for talking in confidence with the Unioners. The exact logs were damaged during the pacifica EMP strike, however the ship involved included a BDM agent known as 'Lichthammer'. We are uncertain if the name is a pseudonym drawn from the historical Kaiserin, or the agent's true identity. Lichthammer met with Unioner agents in Seperatist company no less than three times before vanishing from the operational theatre.

- According to the Professor Provocateur's own statement, the Lane Hackers are both in contact with the Rheinland federal government, and have no intention of counteracting Separatists relations with the Rheinland government.

- This was accompanied by a sudden shift in Lane Hacker stance from co-operative to the Unioner peace effort, including arranging a draft treaty, to combative. The only demand the Union has made upon the assembly of this information is that the Lane Hackers disclose the nature of their connection with the Rheinland Goverment concerning the Bering crises, and the apparant deceptions that the Lane Hackers have accused us of. The Lane Hacker narrative is not self-consistent, and this .

- The Union is prepared to become party to the pace that the Lane Hackers, to great credit, co-authored alongside the Atacama and the Unioners, on the condition that the Lane Hackers disclose the nature of the Rheinland Goverment's involvement in the Bering conflict.

This is a reasonable request considering the threat faced by Pacifica. The Rheinland Federal Goverment is a greater threat to the Union than that which the Seperatists represent. If they are collaborating without our awareness, we cannot in good faith agree to the peace, as its guarantees of security for the system would become invalid.

We have deliberately stalled a Nuclear Electromagnetic Warhead strike against Marshall to allow the Lane Hackers time to re-evaluate their position. GEIST repeats: the Union objective is to secure lasting security for the system, a lasting peace. The Rheinland Federal Goverment will not support the survival of Pacifica, and we must know of their motivations before we can proceed.

It is alarming that the Hackers, who are a valued ally of the Union, are casting conspiracy and ad hominem against the Union rather than responding a relatively direct and reasonable question, that would, upon answer, re-assume the peace process.

The alternative is the total war all sides have fought to avoid, along with mistrust within the long lasting and mutually beneficial alliance of the Unioners and the Lane Hackers.

Posturing has returned to tolerable levels, and information has been provided. Excellent. To the business at hand, then.

On the Legion matter: that evidence is indeed quite clear... though it only implicates one Legion pilot. One pilot trusted enough to operate alone in New York. We will continue to monitor the Legion and their... Commonwealth. Even if this pilot was rogue, that leaves us with concerns about their screening.

As for the MND... that is a complicated web to untangle, isn't it? Most likely, they want a buffer and a proxy. The invasion of Sigma has taken the majority of the Rheinwehr's attention, and they want to secure their flank. Creating a hostile buffer zone in Bering and Hudson discourages Libertonian incursions. That Harmony serves as an effective proxy for operations against Liberty is an added benefit.

The Lane Hackers are a coaligned interest - distracting the Liberty Navy makes their work against Ageira easier and more effective. However, despite diplomatic missteps, to the best of my knowledge they have not actually acted against the Union - feel free to correct me if needed. They wouldn't even have to act directly, they could have simply not secured aid shipments to Pacifica; were they working for the Buro against the Union, they could have assured the fall of Pacifica by simply staying out of a fight between their "allies".

But they did ensure the arrival of that aid, when they could stay out of the conflict with no risk to themselves.

And they have remained on this line.

They are in contact with your enemy, and ours as well. I share your desire to know what information they have about Rheinland's specific interest in Bering. But regardless of their cooperation, I don't believe the Hackers to be the Buro's pawns like Harmony seems to be.
