Due to what appears to be an unknown hardware failure on our server causing core gameplay mechanics to fail such as POBs, shiplock, and the new balance plugin, we're bringing the server down as of this time to back up all files and prevent further corruption of the install. We will keep you updated as the situation develops once we learn more from our server host.
A time scale will be provided as soon as it becomes available. In the meantime, rest assured that development on the mod will not cease, and we encourage you all to continue whatever roleplay you were involved in on both the forums and Discord.

Can i help?
As this is a hardware issue the admins and devs who have backend access do not have access to the hardware at fault. Infact they will not have access to any of the hardware. The server is hosted through a machine at OVH (I believe) so this means only certified OVH engineers will have access to the hardware due to all sorts of data protection and security laws. This means unfortunately there is very little you can do.
From my experience OVH are pretty hot on things like this as I don't doubt other services provided by OVH have been effected by this too.

They had a catastrophic server failure at one of their datacenters and we lost about 5 months of forum/gameplay data. We one of thousands affected. This happened in 2013, I think?

JFC we left a host because we didn't keep backups?

I pulled the last week of dailies off our storage and locked them up in multiple offsites I have control of, one of which is literally attached to my car keys.
We're good this time.
e: I've considered setting up a server in my home to tide us over until we can properly sort this out but I'm not sure that the 150 ms ping from Europe would be appreciated.
