I think, that I can actually agree with Tena here. It's possible to be on friendly terms with the Nomads, but it's becoming too spreaded and slowly turning into a cliche for the outcasts. There are factions, that were created for people, who want to be friendly with aliens - No idea why people don't join them and do the same thing over and over.

Probably because joining those factions actually means knowing how to roleplay.
The OC - Nomad relationship was happening since I begun playing here. However, I agree for Normal OCs that shouldnt normally be in Nomad systems or participate in their raids unless, th character has some RP bsckground done behind it.
When there is Commune partaking in Nomad raid, I dont have anything against OC being there since traditionally, Commune were alied with Outcasts.
The Outcasts only worshipped Nomads, and Nomads simply enjoyed human colony that worships them. Cardamine is important for Nomads, and so there is that specific approach to Malta. They were never alied though, No OC was welcome in Nomad systems. For that extention you always had Oracles and Commune. And we always offered gettiing in touch with our groups if, you wanted to take your RP in this direction.
The reality is that, since Commune moved away from OC as faction (though we were never truly OC, we were just part ofof the society) certain people took steps to break this OC - Nomad relationship and we now see them shooting both Commune and Nomads. Its like people decided to retconn the long previous years of RP, and we get the feel like they only exist just to shoot us. Thats the image they give.
Though, Tenacity, your approach was a bit harsh. You should let people do their thing as they like. Thngs changed a lot. Time inRP is changed too, so is the Sirius.

I wonder when the "elite" will realise that bullying indies away, is not the best idea to keep this server alive. perhaps if its 3/110? In a permanent state?
