Why not move the Iridium ore to Kappa, or even in Chi? In the light of the removal of Xeno relics from Gamma, who would want to travel there?
Xi would have been handy for Xeno relics but totally useless having it in a planet where you can only take 650 units out max a time. If it takes 5 minutes to do a round trip that is not even 8000 units PER HOUR you could extract. (that decision was not thought through TBH).
As I said, Delta should be like Tau-23. Better to put the mining field in there so that the activity can be more focused in the hotspot. Also if you put it in Kappa you then start to put it further away from Order/Nomads (although less so in the case of the Nomads - they actually achieve parking their ships outside of Iota). When the Corsairs were more active, they used to frequent Delta all the time. I had hoped that the addition of Iridium would draw them in further. But the field is just too far away. The travel distance is a bit of a pain, especially all the way from Gamma (which is where at least in my experience Corsairs tend to be based). Chi is just a pretty awful system overall that no one ever visits. In terms of travel times, the distance to Delta is pretty short/easy for local factions.
In regards to Xi, I actually have to wonder why the Planetary atmosphere was added in. I mean, yeah it looks cool, but it adds an extra jump to the route. An extra jump for interaction. Seems counter-intuitive. I don't know what XR's are like now. I know before the recent changes there were complaints that in some ways they were a bit naff but capable.
Chi is a two system jump from these faction systems: Core, Outcasts, Rheinland. It is a one system jump from Kappa and Delta. It is inhospitable, dangerous, and difficult to navigate, but it has three ways in/out. Six factions have a close interest in it. Core, AI, Nomad, Outcasts, Zoners, and Rheinland (perhaps).
I would suggest Iridium ore would be better placed there, and O-Lost closed. It means multiple opportunities to engage in various ways, less cap ship interdiction, and more snub fighter use. More variety to evade interdiction and an incentive to team mine just to get in and out quickly.

So go some where else. I did nothing wrong.
The spirit of the event is to demand the cargo, rather than just obliterating people as soon as you see them. Core| has explicitly not been blowing up transports without a demand. IRG| doesn't even have the lines for it. If Aux is doing it, shame on them and they're just as guilty.

Honestly, I don't think it's ok if Nomads do it. Unfortunately, I'm not sure if it can be logical for Nomads to be making demands instead of shooting.

See there is the problem. You moan that Order are doing their part in the event without demanding "Cargo from a miner" but when other factions such as Nomads (Vagrants/K'Hara), Aoi. Aux and Outcasts are all obliterating Zoner miners, and Core indie miners it is fine?
My SRP ID allows me to obliterate people who are not Order, Nomads/Wild and Commune. That is due to the way my RP has been playing out.
So the fact you are moaning at me for fullfilling my RP it does not make sense.
Or just hire or log more defense ships for protection?

If you read my post you'll see I said that I do not agree with anyone in this event destroying transports without a demand. And I have made effort to ensure people are not doing that on The Core side of things.
There is a reason why the Order indie ID cannot shoot transports and it is exactly this (I know you have an SRP ID, but it's actually pretty comparable) because the potential for upset is great. This isn't something arbitrary or about "he's doing it! they're doing it!" - just think about the people on the other side of the interaction, and how they feel about what you're doing. Because from what I have heard, they're not enjoying it. You have an SRP ID. This kind of behaviour doesn't sound befitting of a high quality of standards, which is the requirement to use such IDs. Think about it; a Capital ship practically insta-gibs a defenceless transport: where's the high-quality interaction?

No Nomad ID has the lines to demand cargo, which is a little sad but mostly, a Nomad that wants the cargo would rather destroy the ship carrying it to get the cargo.
What we've done as Vagrants though is try to stare down intruders into Lost until they left. It sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. EF| is a positive example of where it did as they were faced with overwhelming force.
