*the video log opens, and Cortana looks tired as always*
So today as I was on my way to store the fully functional prototype I went to the weapon storage, and I noticed that we have multi-barrel neutron weapons that come from the junkers... So I had the idea to use the multi-barrel to reduce the heat a bit more since I still have a slightly too high heat output.
So I first started to salvage the whole inner gear and core that was inside the weapon.. I did it very carefully because I may can use the core for future developments. I need to say that those neutron weapons had a lot of wires way more than my adapted weapon... so I made pictures so I can remember how to wire them correctly if I ever need those cores again.
So after that, I started to build in the amplyfiers and wire them.. I need to say it was quite easy because the weapon had way more room to wire everything. The only thing that concerns me a bit is, how to build the heat transmission pipe into the weapon... Anyway after the wiring I first let again let some current flow through everything to see if everything is correct... *she rolls her eyes* mhm... well I accidentally switched to cables because I didn't look right, and I switched the bourbon red wire with the wine red wire... which destroyed the amplyfier completely... after that I built a new amplyfier into the weapon... this time correctly wired..
The next step was to build in a plasma generator that I used from some older weapons I found in the storage.. the good thing was that this generator had an even better cosphi, so I need even less energy to create plasma.. if I saw it right this weapon is from the kusari naval force.. after what I considered as a small success with the implementation of the generator I decided to make a small test before I continue with adding the Black Nova Compound.
The test went quite well.. the only thing that didn't work out well was the missing of the heat transmission pipe.. I mean the cooling of the weapon worked due to the spinning barrels but, without the heat transmission pipe I'm again at the beginning with the to high energy drain... so I had the idea to close the barrels in a pipe of titanium so the heat will stack up which will be pulled through the heat transmission pipe.. like that everything should work fine...
So after the wielding which didn't go as planned first... because the titanium just was such a hard material that was nearly unbendable.. without breaking it... I needed two attempts to craft this.. but after I finally had done it I mounted it to the weapon itself it fitted like it was born for it *she laughs*
So this is it for today my next steps will be to test the weapon with the heat and energy reduction and to add the Black Nova Compound.. if the next steps work as I imagine it then we soon have a mass production weapon that will serve us well..
Cortana out.

So now we have the 10th log which is a very important one.. so let me start.
So today the weapon got tested with the Black Nova Compound... The first step was to implement it into the weapon which worked good.. but after some time I got a little bit dizzy... I don't know why or how but I guess that I may work too much with the Black Nova compound. I first thought that it might leak somewhere, but this would probably harm me more than getting a bit dizzy *she laughs*
So after the Black Nova compound was added, we started with the tests right away.. We used the same programmes to test it. The whole looked good it may need some fine adjustments but the rest works, we also have the expected energy level which is also great this means the weapon doesn't need any additional upgrades. The only test that was worrying us a bit was some kind of heat jam in the pipe.. I first thought that this might cause by the hull around the barrels, but we found nothing that could have caused that.. but this is something that I will test in space under real conditions, we have installed security measurements in the weapon anyway in case something like that would happen.
*she looks a bit unsure about what she said*
We also mounted one weapon on my ship to see how it fits on a universal mount.. well.. we found out that, we have a little problem with amplyfier built into the socket of the weapon.. the main problem was that the amplyfier blocked the turret from turning.. which is a bit ehm useless.. we tried to figure out how to solve this problem and we came to the conclusion that we could build it in a separate box outside of the weapon.. of course this would be slightly more work that needs to be done on each weapon, but we didn't found any other solution yet..
So after the box was built we wielded it to the weapon, and we made the whole wiring, and built in the amplyfier.. we mounted the weapon again to see if this works how we expected it.. we tested different angles and the turning speed.. it all looks good.. I think we can start the production of our first own weaponry.. but some tests will be needed to test the weapon in real conditions before I can safely hand it out to the Raiders and the Silver Sun.. but once the tests are done we will be able to mass produce them..
So I guess this will be my last entry besides the real condition testing.. I will inform my brothers and sisters about our success.. it was a long way, but we finaly made it..

*the video feed opens, and you can see Cortana very relieved*
So some days before I thought that the Argus project is over and that I can focus on the next project called ***** Well, I thought wrong.. I suddenly came to the realization that a single weapon won't fit all our pilots so we came to the idea that a faster refire weapon would may be a good addition..
*she looks a bit disappointment*
So one of my colleagues brought the idea that we could add more barrels *she says sarcastic* I then sent him to the material vault to look if we have some weapons with small barrels that we can salvage to use it on the finished weapon. We found some pretty old weapons with the nearly perfectly fitting barrels, so we decided to salvage them. While my worker salvaged every single part of the weapons, I was on our weapons to prepare everything to add the new barrels. So after some calculations, we decide to add five more barrels, with a distance of 3,8cm from each other. So in total, we have 8 Barrels now on the first weapon it was somewhat easy to mount them on the actual weapon. First, we unmounted the barrels and the plate which the barrels were mounted on from the weapon, after that, we drilled five holes into it with 3,8cm to each other. We then fitted the new barrels into the holes and started to wield them on the back side of the plate after that we wielded the front side, so everything is tight and safe.
So after the successful mounting of the barrel, we decided to test the weapon. The first test was well... ehm not so good.. just because we forgot to add the increased turning speed of the barrels, so the weapon shot not faster but it shot more let's say random we couldn't tell out of which barrel which shot came and the energy consumption also increased...
*she looked a bit annoyed as she said that*
Well after we adjusted the rotation speed manually to 4.89 for the best result, we observed that a single shot uses less energy but when you fire the weapon continuously drains a lot more power than our other weapon.. but what should I say higher refire rate uses more energy over time, common sense isn't it?
But in the whole the weapon works as we expected, we achieved a higher refirerate which we wished to do and made a different option to the other weapon. As we have thought about it, we decided to call the first developed weapon with the slower refire rate Entropy Mk I and the faster one Entropy Mk II, only because we think it fits this beautiful weapon much more. For now, this will be my last log for sure.
*as the video feed starts to blur out you can see her smiling*
