Thank you in advance.
there's a check all box at the top for inbox/sent items
I am aware, but I will have to do it a few times as the deleted box needs to be emptied as well.
'I would like to be half as clever as some people like to believe they are' Life is full of disappointments, it is how we handle them that helps to define us, as a person
This is kinda funny, I consider myself lucky I haven't fully returned and now when I was giving Disco one more try, my RP posts got deleted. Guess it's a good sign tho.
Seriously now, this war between the staff is just a joke and fight over some pixels. Coups like this one never actually helped anything. But well, time will show us.
It is with very real disappointment to hear this St Denis. You were the most sensible, loyal and helpful Admin I've ever known... and that has been on a number of FL servers too!
You were especially kind and patient with me, and I know I was a bit of a handful at times. When I see all the admin like the sanction thread being dominated by the work you do/did, I think all of us truly appreciate you for it. You took your time to tell me where I was wrong, and to help me to understand what is required to play better.
I don't have a foggiest of the behind-the-scenes turmoil that has forced a sad decision, but I do want you to know I and many others hold you in the greatest of admiration and respect.

While the information and details about this whole drama is divided and often enough contradicting, this seems to be an end result and the outcome that will now dictate the future of the mod and community.
Commenting from the position of a regular member, all I can hope is that you can not only understand what exactly you are getting into, but have the people necessary to take over the previous team. Losing active devs due to admin duty (which is more work than it seems from the outside) will not help the mod or the community.
In the end 99% of the active playerbase will not see the chance in management if everything is done correctly. Personal feelings aside, I hope that that is the case.

All I'll say is that the best solution would have been to have diplomatically community elected staff, with the existing rota of both teams eligible for re-election. In terms of failure of duty, I don't really know who to believe as I've got friends on both sides who have given convincing arguments and points that outline the inadequacies and shortcomings of both teams.
Ultimately, one group having total power isn't the way forward, and I'm not confident that the end result will be healthy for the community in the long term. Admin and Developer are too distinct roles; and consider all the terrible Admins and Developers we've had throughout the community's history. Imagine if they had the powers of both roles (hell, some did). Not a pleasant thought.
Interesting to see how this will play out. Personally the entire endeavour over it is silly. If we can push things onwards now, I will be looking forward to seeing what happens in-game.
