・A career officer trained from youth, albeit with a low born background, served with distinction during the Tau war with Kusari, primarily after Holman fell to Nagasaki up until the final engagements near Stokes, primarily a Templar pilot, credited with a considerable confirmed kill count against Kusari, Corsair and CR opposition. Capital ship experience with the HMS Repulse and HMS Majestic, a Crecy and Dunkirk respectively, though not as proficient compared to very heavy fighter piloting.
Motivation for joining the Bretonia Armed Forces:
・During the invasion of Planet Leeds, after relinquishing command of the York, I joined the land based resistance and have been fighting planet side for the majority of my time. Now, I can see the only way of stopping the subjection of Leeds from completion is to resolve the war in our favor, and that necessitates my return to the spacial theater, and under BAF command once more. Happy to take a lower rank due to extended absence and the entry of new blood, more of a hands on type so a lower rank is likely perhaps more fitting too.
Short biography:
・John Redmond, born on Leeds to common parentage, was encouraged to rise up the social ladder by attaining patronage for officer training, this was granted by a local businessman and John joined the officer academy as a result. Excelled due to a very strong sense of motivation and a talent for fighters, he saw a quick rise up in the pecking order.
The Tau war saw John dropped into a full blown war with a foe that utilized unique technology and tactics uncommon in Bretonia, his efforts saw him rise to Admiral of the front facing York Battlegroup, whose efforts and those of other BAF battlegroups saw the Kusari's fought to a standstill near Leeds when Gallia quickly surprised both houses and commenced the invasion of the Planet. Due to personal connection to the planet, John opted to stay behind as part of the defense forces, the invasion saw many friends and family lost and had a deep impact on John emotionally.

The BAF was my first faction, and I joined as a founding member (before this recruiting thread existed and we were official) under Dieter and co, Bretonia is my favorite house and the Templar my favorite ship, I do not know if I can put in a huge amount of hours due to time zones and life commitments, but I feel it better to at least have the time I can log in contribute to the overall faction activity.

Yes I can indeed, I have a non-tagged BAF character, a Templar and a Havok Mk2 and would rather they simply be renamed. I am considering purchasing capitals as my high ping may make snubs less enjoyable.

Motivation for joining the Bretonia Armed Forces: I should be old enough now to defend my home against the intruders.
Short biography: Charlie Wilson was born on Planet New London, part of a Ship mechanic family who were working on the Southampton Shipyard, where they were repairing and maintaining the Bretonian Armed Forces ships. Charlie was always someone who had a good hand for the tools and never had any problems to use them in the correct way, so fixing mechanical issues was really easy for him. When Wilson finished the school, he started to work for Borderworld Exports, fixing their ships, while also keeping them in a good shape, so they won't decay when they transport some ore from A to B.
When Gallia managed to break through the New London defense lines, his parents got evacuated from Southampton, currently awaiting new orders from the Bretonian Armed Forces, while helping where they can.
Wilson now decided it's time to stand up and join the Bretonian Armed Forces, ready to assist them in every way, even if it's just repairing and maintaining their ships.

Motivation for joining the Bretonia Armed Forces: Since my childhood, I struggled with education and other work, so i had a mentor who was a ex-BAF Pilot and always tells me stories about how he survived in dangerous situations and gave me advice on how to prepare my future. My life goal is to be like him and never put myself down and always keep control of my own mind, because there are people there that will take me out of my goal.
Short biography: I was born in the spectacular Planet in Bretonia known as New London. My childhood is not like most of the others here serving in the BAF, I struggled to keep up with work and rapidly falling behind, until i met an ex-BAF pilot who was quite an extraordinary man, he was outgoing and passionate, and always committed to mentor me with my education and mental health.
At 18 years, I was up to date and applied to serve the Armed Forces (not the Primary Fleet) and started as a fighter. It wasn't easy at first, but got the hang of it, I was eager to patrol in the asteroid fields in New London, and easily managed to fight through dangerous criminals. At 20 years, I encountered a unusual group of ships around the Leeds Gate, turns out it was the Royal Navy, I was outgunned but managed to escape.
Now, since the Gallians are fighting for New London, there is no way that the citizens and the rest of bretonia want to give up there homeland, so I taking a major step forward and fight alongside Bretonian on order to protect our home.
