Now I've looked closer to the newer model and saw what looked like bay doors
You know that in SP you can open and close the bay doors of the kirk, ossie and libdread by typing 'anim' in the chat
In MP by jettisoning something into space it opens the bay for these 3, it will do the same for the new model? Im really curious about that one

Update:
-More textures applied. I would say 60% (+/-) is complete
-Retextured weapons platform, previously it was too low-res.
-altered the model in some areas to be more sleek.
-Placed large weapon platforms for the Liberty Primaries.
It looks great, though one thing I noticed when I opened it up to look, the nose section seems abnormally large compared to the rest of the ship. Is this intended?

The nose is meant to be 'beefed up', or as you said: "abnormally" large, due to having a massive solid front to ram at enemy ships when the chance arises. Technically it has a very strong supporting frame structure to hit something without severely damaging the rest of the ship; ofcourse inRP. In addition, to compensate the heavy arsenal that it has in the bow as well.

Ram with high explosives and kill yourself and whatever you just rammed? *thinks of Vanilla FL*
Most likely, if Digital Anvil allowed players to had capital class ships in the single-player campaign, it would have been implemented with a cost/consequence on your ship.
-The Cylindrical Engine is 90% textured; the whole texturing phase is near as done.
This weekend, hoping so, what I will be doing is remaking a CMP file and Sur file again and also placing the animation on the bay doors and having a 'rotating' animation on the ring that is placed on the end of the engine.
Aiming for Sunday afternoon to be completed. Then I take my break for a short while before starting something else.
