OVERVIEW

Vierlande Prison, a home for Rheinland's incarcerated radicals, houses over fifty seven thousand inmates. For over a century, Vierlande has been the final destination for captured Coalition, Hessian, and Unioner pilots who were unlucky enough to survive in combat against Rheinland's military or Federal police. With abhorrent conditions and inhumane treatment of its inmates, Vierlande has long been considered a prime target for Rheinland's radical left, if they could ever breach it.

The Unioners, who call Hamburg their home, have devised a plan of attack against the prison station. Dispatching a Corvo research vessel packed to the brim with sensor equipment, the outlaw shipwrights intercepted sensitive transmissions outlining the scheduled transfer of several thousand inmates on March 24th, 826 AS. Vierlande's jailors are notorious for holding prisoners hostage with deliberate threats of airlock evacuation. During this period, they will not be able to readily decompress prison cells during the transfer.

Informing both the Red Hessians and Coalition of this rare opportunity, the three factions have assembled a taskforce spearheaded by the Coalition's Tempest class carrier Alvin Katz. Katz, late Premier of the Coalition to which the ship owes its name, was once a prisoner of the Republic himself. Alongside the Alvin Katz, the Hessians and Unioners have contributed two of their own capital ships, the Jormungand class Züschen and the Bayern class Undine. The Züschen, a new spaceframe only recently completed by the Wolfsburg Assembly yards, will face trial by fire at Vierlande.

With Hamburg's Battleship Westfalen and accompanying fleet ordered to relocate to the Sigma Front, and the information gleaned from Unioner endeavours, a new window of opportunity has presented itself to Rheinland's politicial revolutionaries. A rebel battlegroup composed of Coalition, Hessian, and Unioner forces the likes of which Rheinland has never seen now marches on the Federal Republic's dread prison.

DETAILS


Revolutionary fleet strength is determined via points. The revolutionary fleet possesses 3 battlecruisers and 9 cruisers. The battlecruisers are worth 30 points per kill each, and the cruisers worth 10 per kill, for a total of 180 points. Accumulating over 90 points worth of kills will count as a win for the Military forces. A tie will result in a win for the Revolutionary forces.

Only the Alvin Katz will be dockable. The Unioners will be temporarily rephacked to neutral to the Coalition for the duration of the event.

This event is on rails. The Revolutionary forces will breach Vierlande no matter what. The best Rheinland can do is to bloody their nose for future opportunities. See victory conditions for details.

This siege is designed to be interactive. Do not just bring battleships in the hopes of out DPSing everything you see, this is not going to be a weight-on-right-mouse-button adventure.

In which case it'd probably just get thrown out the door anyway since the solars aren't staying there for very long.
