Sender: Commandant Pierre Vaillant Recipient: EFL Subject: The current situation with IMG.
Bonjour,
I am the Commandant Pierre Vaillant of our glorious Marine Royale. I will be brief because the time is against us. Though I will be the most clear as possible.
You are of course aware of the recent events about the Independant Miner Guild. The Bretonians become nothing but agressors, bad cups of tea...well they must be eliminated. The presence of the IMG within Sirius is essential, and especially for us in the Taus. Their Shipyard Aland is now under a siege.
We have already contacted IMG and they let us know that you are in negociations with them about their station of South Shields located in Newcastle. We offered a protection for the station and we are planning something. But that is not your concern. We contact you in order to coordinate the future actions regardling IMG.
Sincèrement
Marine Royal Gauloise, Commandant Pierre Vaillant.
It is often pleasant when things fall into place is it not Commandant?
EFL begins moving extra Resources to R&D to increase the productivity of EFL's hydrocarbon refining and production in order to produce more fuel for the Roi. Meanwhile, we contacted the Guild after seeing their public message, offering them refuge on Planet Harris for any installations they are evacuating in Bretonia. In their response they proceed to offer their Hydrocarbon facilities to us for use in producing fuel for The Marine Royale nearly on the top of the front lines and in a perfect position for a post-Bretonian surrender way-station on the way to Liberty. Imagine my surprise when, after The Guild asks me to contact The Marine Royale, I am contacted by the Marine!
Below you will see the last message received from The Guild which has their end of the agreement, in order to reach an accord. If you can assure me as such then I believe all of us will be on the same page. I personally see no problem but I need your word as well. I have taken the liberty of highlighting the main points in question.
I am Kirigiri Kyoko, Guildmaster of the Independent MIners Guild.
I could only double everything said previously by Guildmaster Yao - we are open to support you in your effort in Newcastle. However, we would like to have few moment clarified before we give you the green light to utilise South Shields as a refuel point for the Marine Royale.
First of all - the station will still be run by the Independent Miners Guild and EFL guarantees we won't find Marine Royale marines knocking at our doors one day. The station personnel will be instructed to assist your engineers in any way possible, but you'd need to introduce them to the specifics of the fuel used by the Gallic vessels.
Second - Marine Royale will maintain the security perimeter together with the Guild paramilitary situated in the area, and try their best to avoid collateral damage to the station. It is, after all, a civilian installation, and simply does not boast a significant armament to withstand direct hits of heavy ordnance.
Third, and our last concern - after the war effort in Newcastle is concluded, both EFL and Marine Royale will acknowledge the Independent Miners Guild as the rightful installation owners and administrators, will leave it's vicinity and will not attempt force takeover of the mentioned station. Any upgrades made on the South Shields we would like to see remaining aboard of it.
Let me know your opinion of these conditions.
~Kirigiri Kyoko.

Bonjour, monsieur Dupont.
Indeed, it is a great coincidence when things fall into place, i assume you could make good use of it, monsieur Dupont.
My name is Emilie-Sophie de Belmond, and there is two major subject i would like to outline.
First, and foremost - it is within my direct interest if it is within your capabilities to deliver certain commodities to a certain location. To be precise - anything that might be crucial to bolster the defense of the Aland shipyard: fuel, armor plating, sidearms, medical supplies, basic ship maintenance resources. With the Zurich-Cologne connection now stable enough to allow passage for our military grade transports and thus should cause no disturbance for such supply efforts.
I understand that your attention will be mainly focused on Independent Miners Guild request, but if you will have some assets to spare - consider my request to be second in priority.
My second point of interest would be if it is within the EFL abilities to create a custom individual weapon for melee combat. Should the answer be positive - i will introduce you with the details.
Sincèrement

Peace, being the distant dream it is, comes inevitably, and goes hand in hand with justice.
Cursed be the war.

Bonjour Monsieur Dupont,
Be surprising always helped me. Anyway let's return on the subject.
The Marine Royale appreciates the initiative with the Independant Guild. We need more fuel, especially when the final battle is about to begin.
Le Commandant de Belmond is aswell on the operation field with the IMG. She has personal request but that's essential. You will specificaly deal with them for this task.
You did well Monsieur Dupont to give us the current lines of the agreement. I expected conditions of that kind and they are reasonable.
I will give you my approval on the different points. Once this done, feel free to send the response to the Guild.
Let's call this the South Shields Agreements.
First point: We agree. We aren't the Bretonians. They don't care of the independence of our dear miners. The station of South Shields will remain in the hands of the Guild and the Marine Royale guaruntees she won't knock at their doors within the conditions of the South Shields Agreements and unless the Guild asks exceptionally another way of act.
Second point: We agree. That is normal after all. The battlefield will occur out of the perimeter mentioned by the Guild. However our ships might be able to enter in the perimeter under the strict condition given by the Guild in extreme circumstances.
Third point: We agree. I will take back your words: after the war effort in Newcastle is concluded, both EFL and Marine Royale will acknowledge the Independent Miners Guild as the rightful installation owners and administrators, will leave it's vicinity and will not attempt force takeover of the mentioned station. Any upgrades made on the South Shields we would like to see remaining aboard of it.
I guess we said everything. You are free to send this response to the Guild, as you initiated the negociations for this. Contact us once you get a message from them. Thus we can coordinate supply operations to South Shields with MRG escort.

Bonjour Monsieur Dupont,
It has been a while since we discussed with IMG. I come with good news. It seems the Opération Bouclier Royal finally prevented any Bretonian intervention on the South Shields refinery.
Our forces withdrawn of the system but the Embrun is still holding its previous position for the next attack. For now, South Shields is safe. The Marine Royale would like to know the current state of the project.

Do forgive me for the delay, I have recently finalized the last of the details with The Guild, the EFL|Fierte.du.Paris is being prepped for the trip. It would be most excellent if the MRG could provide a escort to South Shields as the Liner will be loaded full with Millions of credits worth of goods as well as some of the brightest minds EFL has to offer. With hope, we will rendezvous with a Guild Escort at Holman Outpost.
Sender: Commandant Pierre Vaillant Recipient: CEO, EFL Oil and Machinery | Jeremie Dupont Subject: Escort
Bonjour Monsieur Dupont,
The delay doesn't matter really I can assure you. The importance was to safe South Shields from the Bretonians, a thing that has been successful. I expected your transmission and it is a good new that a trusted Gallic coorporation like yours opened a new economical way with the Guild.
Even if we are currently busy on the Bretonian Front, I will send you an escort to your convoy -I will be there in person- and I guess we can meet in New Paris directly. I'm aware our core systems are well protected despite the large amount of our forces currently on the Bretonian front but I need to be cautious with that. An attack from the Conseillard in Gallia or terrorists in the Taus is not excluded. That's why I will put all those efforts in the protection of your transport. It would be appreciated if the Guild could escort us aswell from Holman to South Shields for the festivities.
I need a date for the convoy.
Sincèrement
