Rule Changes

● Auxesia may demand Refurbished Electronics within their ZOI and attack ships that refuse to comply.
● Shared ships will have their score split by as many people logged in during the event - I suggest using your own.
● Bering is now a CONTESTED TERRITORY: All PVP deaths suffered by non-generic IDs in this area have a reduced cooldown of 30 minutes, instead of the standard one hour. You will be prompted by a warning about this when you enter the system.
● Auxesia ID has a Bering ZOI addition for the duration of the event.



Background

With the recent increase of their activity throughout the Rheinland, it was a question of the time when will the Unioners step on someone's toes. A raid they have launched against Auxesian convoy has resulted in a lot more than they have expected. Determined to exact their revenge upon those that have harmed them, the Auxesia command has ordered a strike against the Unioner stronghold in the north - Pacifica Base. After sending a group of independent pilots on a covert op, they have successfully launched several electromagnetic warheads towards the drydock and main structure of the base, inflicting heavy damage to it.

The Unioners were swift to react and patch the most of the damage with assorted salvage. But, the electromagnetic pulse has disabled most of their electronic equipment and scanners, rendering their base vulnerable against further attacks. As the situation is dire, they have decided to order a large shipment of various refurbished electronic equipment to repair or replace their old one. Sending all of their logistic vessels towards Coronado, they hope that their base will be brought back to maximum capabilities as soon as possible.


Description

The event will start on 18th of May. Pacifica Base will be receiving Refurbished Electronics from Barrier Gate Station A in Coronado. There will be bonuses for the mentioned IDs for both kills and shipments. As usual, we invite the official factions on either side to organize the participants via Discord as well as promote overall activity and presence during the event.

The event will end when all the shipments arrived.

Rewards for leading either score (most shipments, most Unioner kills and most Auxesia kills) will be 300 Scientific Data.
The two below that will receive 150 Scientific Data.
Top 3 get forum titles that may be passed down to the next person on the scoreboard should you not wish to change yours.

Other rewards may be introduced over the course of the event.

As usual, the Game Masters team would like the participants to please keep in mind that any attempts to prevent opposing players from earning score during the event will be considered as cheating and dealt with as such.

Usually some of these events get an alternative sellpoint for the aggressors to loot them off the haulers, I guess there's none this time? Would be nice to sell it after demanding.

Meant as in making a slotted PvP event to take advantage of the bonus. Publishing your thing in the events section and inviting participation would have been more guaranteed to bring people in at the time.
