You know to make players want to check out, what is there, behind?
I'm currently enjoying a vacation. Once I'm back, I'll do the Laptev proposal first, then the Junker Dreadnought and then maybe do some simple THN intros so everyone can replace them themselves if they are not happy with the current ones. Although I have to say, the New London and the T-31 ones are pretty neat, while I also kinda mis the vanilla ones of Tohoku with the liners and the waterplanet one. Generally it's probably a good idea to archive all THNs and offer them somewhere on the forum for individual preferences. (But then again, that's a lot of work just for the intro screen most people check out fully only once)
That being said, don't expect anything that is comparable to what Xalrok does with THNs. The New London one is a masterpiece.
Seems to me that devs just want this long drawn out, stale war over and done with. I agree, it's about time this ends.
With the pace this is moving forward, it'll be couple of patches before the conclusion.
Just have a little patience and other systems will get some love, though i agree delta is very uninteresting atm
You people make another "eat the devs" thread to protest an update about the Gallic war in an effort to get the Gallic war over with and @Xalrok goes and does this.
Honestly, this community doesn't deserve him and all the incredible work he does here.
It's really not that hard or time consuming to do. In fact it's a simple download of a file and few ini changes; actually, I'm surprised he didn't do it sooner since he first talked about it (to me at least) two (or maybe three, cannot remember) years ago.
That isn't the point, Laz. The point is he could've done nothing, because some of the people in this thread are frankly being very immature and ungrateful, and he just shrugs it off like it's nothing. The guy's a saint.
I mean that's fair, but isn't being the lead developer (and at this point, community leader) to do what the community is asking for? Though yeah, I do agree that the attitude of "all change is bad" is a pretty toxic one.

I have to agree, complaining about such a insignificant change then having the freaking Lead Dev up and do this without so much as a peep is amazing and I am thankful for having the guy. You people need to grow up.
