ENGINEERING TASK
to develop and manufacture experimental
cruiser "Blaster" turret
Project's Orderer: Sirius Coalition Expeditionary Corps
Project's Executor: Sirius Coalition Expeditionary Corps Engineering Division
Project's Logistic: VEKTOR SOE
DOCUMENTATION
Sirius Houses convention which prohibited cruiser "Razor" weapon caused disappearing of manufacturing facilities. To replace this niche with our own equipment, was suggested re-create this weapon, by engineering heavier gunboat variant.
Note: As was reported, Gallia, which not tied with such limits, already produce similar weapon.
Stabilisation of antimatter encasement field did stuck with unpredicted modulation problems, caused by particles mass fluctuation in vacuum. From another side, cruiser energy distibution system, designed for heavy weapon, such as cryogenic antimatter projectors, allow to increase energy efficency and refire rate, by increased capacitors and heat sink systems energy consumption.
Was rendered impossible and non optimal to sustain uniform parameters of antimatter on big range, so was considered installation of 1300 distance limiter.

MANUFACTURING QUEUE
Ship, considered for test:
CPW "Belgorod"
Total quantity - 2 turrets.
CPW "Belgorod" typhoon class destroyer will be first "hunter" - destroyer. Crew dossiers show enough competency to test new weapon in combat conditions.
ADDITIONAL RESOURCES
1000 of energy field equipment.
To produce experimental variant, additional energy field amplificators required.
Cases of disclosure the project details to unathorised parties will be considered by Commissariat.

STATUS UPDATE
Required components delivered to Mykolaiv Research Station.
Experimental manufacturing line set in work.
The "Belgorod" crew was moved on another typhoon destroyer, "Cossack". This warship was detached to TSB| and ready for uprgades on Sevastopol Depot repair facility.

Prototypes demonstrate expected performance both in polygon's conditions and combat. After further analysis of weapon use in combat situations, initial "hunter" conception turned into "barrage" destroyers for fleet actions and patrols.
Supposed primary targets is snub-crafts, gunboats, cruisers. Engage of battlecruisers is not advised, battleships pose deadly threat. This shift of primary targets in comparison with standard typhoon determines desired use in fleet.
Data, collected after main test program by RO-3, confirms high efficiency in this role.
Engineering department consider as possible to manufacture this weapons in limited series.
