At this moment, John and Thomas receive a disturbing message from the Lead Engineer.
L.E: John, Thomas- I'm in the maintenance bay, can you come real fast?
It's about interdimensional ship radar that you brought. We just finished to fix it. Well...not completely, but the power supply works ... you have to see it!
John and Thomas are heading for the maintenance bay as Robert was already there, waiting. The mechanic turns on a small lock and a strange hologram appears in the room with a planetary layout. As the group rallies up, a surprising face came from John after seeing the hologram.
-Its some sort of Star Map. I just don't understand what should it represent.
That can't be our system.says John's father
-Weird.says Robert. I've traveled a lot, but this one
the map does not resemble any of what I have seen.
Suddenly Rona's voice is heard in the speakers.
-John, Thomas? I'm in the communication room ... I see strange signals in the monitor.
The signal source is based on our base and is trying to connect to our equipment!
Thomas quickly runs towards the strange machine and disconnects it from the power supply.
-John, we don't know what that is and how it is supposed to work. This can be dangerous. It will be safer for us to contact authorities and pass it to them. Let them take care of it, but in the meantime, let's lock it in the lab's containment room.
- Alright, dad. I'm going to the communication room. Maybe LSF will be interested to help us.
Rona: Okay, John. Tomorrow we're going back to Bretonia. Are you coming with us?
John: Yes. I speaked with my dad- he'll handle things here.
Rona: Any news from Universal Shipping?
John: Not yet. I've tried to contact them several times,
but no results yet. For the first test jump drive we still need
some Argentium Silver, Critical Temperature Alloy, some Robotic Hardware
and lots of Reinforced Alloy. We're using some Reinforced Alloy sometimes for
base repair too, so this is needed in all times..
Rona: I know where to get some Argentium Silver. Its not far from Cambridge.
When we will return back here- we can bring some.
John: Yes, it would be good. Its not urgent.
We're going to New London or Cambridge tomorrow?
Rona: First, let's go to Cambridge Philharmonic, then well visit my mother.
We can also take a look at the Bretonia Royal Liner, since well be already there. Have you ever seen it?
John: Not often. When I worked in Sigma I saw bretonian ships very rarely...
Around the afternoon John, Robert, and Rona arrive in Cambridge...
The journey has come to an end. Not far from Planet Cambridge
everyone has the luck to see a Bretonian Royal Liner with patrol ships flying around it.
Rona: Look, John! Here it is. This liner belongs to Queen Karina. The royal family often travels. They never go without escort ships. Isn't it a beautiful ship?
John thinks a moment, then says - Yes, as a luxurious liner. But what about
best I like in this liner- heavy armor. As far as I know, this is the best-armored liner from them all.
Rona: Yes, indeed!
Okay, John, we're getting closer to the planet. Says Robert. I also have some things to do in Cambridge.
See you at the Cambridge Philharmonic tonight.
Rona: John, can you accompany me to the Cambridge Philharmonic. We will have there a small rehearsal, some free time and then an evening concert.
John: Sure- that's why I'm here.
John gives hand to Rona and they walk down Cambridge's streets to the Philharmonic. Its late autumn in Cambridge.
The city is quiet and peaceful. Only the wind slightly blows some fallen leaves. So they have reached
Philharmonic. It seems like John is a bit submerged in his thoughts...
Rona: John, let's go inside. There is also a small café. See you after the rehearsal, okay?
John: Okay.
Rona: Just don't get lost.
Rona looks slightly worried
John looks at Ron and smiles. Where he may get lost?...
John and Rona are sitting in a cafe. Lighted candles stand on the table, light jazz plays in the background.
John: It's really nice here. I've never been here...
Rona: Yes, Cambridge is a charming city. I know many beautiful places here.
In Bretonia, people are generally more open-hearted than in Liberty.
John: You know, Rona, I ...
John stares uncertainly into Rona's eyes ...
John: I have lived alone all this time. You already know that I was for a long time away from Liberty. Also from my father. It wasn't easy. And now that I'm back home ...
Rona grabs John gently by the hand.
Rona: John, I know your heart is in pain and full of loneliness. But father also longed for you all these 15 years. Nor was it easy for him all that happened. However, there are things in life that need to be taken and looked at further.
John: That's not what I meant. I just wanted to say that I am a closed person and not always able to express my feelings into words.
Rona: Yeah, you're like a book that not everyone can read. And yet I am glad that you are with me here in this cafe and we are talking about life.
John: I think we're talking about us.
John looks into Rona's dark eyes and sees a clear yearning for love and reliance.
Rona: Okay, I'm going to get ready for the concert. See you there.
Rona gets up and is about to leave.
John: Wait, Rona...
John gets up and hugs Rona
John: Forgive me, I'm such a fool...
Rona: No, John, you are sweet. Well, meet later. Just don't miss the concert.

Hi, father!
We have successfully arrived in Cambridge.
It is autumn now. Rona has brought me to the Philharmonic.
When I return to New York, I'll pick up some Argentium silver as we have talked.
The base seems to have needed some unit. Our first jumpdrive's test jump
drive succeeded and we decided to build a few more factories. We
have a deal with universal shipping as you already know. They
soon promised to supply the missing Optronic Arrays and Reinforced Alloy.
Admittedly, I really enjoy this vacation with Rona. Tonight
she will have a concert with the Cambridge Symphony Orchestra and Tomorrow she
invited me to visit her mother, so I will stay here for a couple more days.
Inform me if anything important happens.
That is all for the moment.
John goes to his seat and sits down. A few minutes left before the concert.
An orchestra appears on the stage and sits down in its seats.
The orchestra warms up and after a short time, the conductor appears on the stage.
"Good evening and welcome to the Cambridge Philharmonic!
It is a great pleasure to see you all here. This is a special evening because today in Bretonia
we are commemorating every soldier who has fallen in the Bretonian War. And we'll start
tonight with a piece called "Prayer". It is a composition in memory of our heroes.
Give peace to our brothers, give power to our people, to our brothers who fell today and yesterday,
and to all, who have given their lives about the homeland of our people. Give peace to our brothers..."
The sound of the orchestra has been touched to the finest nuances. Excellent musical dramaturgy. For many people
there are tears in the excitement of the eyes and there is a huge sense of togetherness in the hall.
The orchestra plays "autumn leaves" as the last piece. A light, sentimental jazz piece, which everyone knows.
The concert is a success and all orchestra musicians are greeted with flowers.
Rona too is not short of greeters. In the hall are both her father and John.
John greets Rona with a large bouquet of lilies.
-Oh, John .. how did you know? These are my favorite flowers!
Rona hugs John closely.
-There's someone who told me - John says and a slight smile appears on his face.
-Thank you, John! Thanks for this evening and the flowers. I know a good place near here where we could stay
overnight .. and get on the road in the morning.
-That sounds good.- says John and they walk away.
It's early morning. John and Rona have breakfast at a small hotel located near Cambridge Philharmonic. After breakfast, they are on their way
to Rona's parents.
John: Listen, Rona, what is your mother really doing?
Rona: She worked at a science institute, but now she's helping my father
in all kinds of small jobs. I think we will meet him today aswell.
It's an hour's drive by subway from here.
John: Okay, I think we can go.
John and Rona head to the subway station. It's a sunny autumn day.
Cambridge is a charming city - thinks John. Near the subway
station John goes into the flower shop and buys some flowers.
I bought some flowers for your mother- says, John.
Rona: Oh .. This is so nice of you. She will definitely appreciate this.
After a while, John and Rona get off the subway and head out
to Rona's parent's house.
After a few minutes, they arrive at a large two-story house with a lovely garden
all around. Lilac grows near the house and fruit trees in the garden. Close by
Roberts collects apples.
Rona: Hey, Dad! John and I came to visit. Is the mother home?
Robert: Yes, she's already waiting for you. You can go inside.
Rona and John enter the house. They meet Rona's mother in the lobby.
Rona: Hi, mom! This is John. John, this is my mother Sylvia.
John: It is a great honor for me to meet you - he says as he gives Sylvia the flowers.
Sylvia: Oh! ... Rona has told me a lot about you. You studied together in a flight college. And how is your father- Thomas?
John: My father is doing well. He has his own shop and a small workshop
near Manhattan. He likes to repair all kinds of equipment.
Sylvia: Yes, it could be. He and Robert worked together for several years at OSC
as mechanics. Send him my regards when you meet him. Did you have your breakfast, by the way?
Rona: Yeah, don't worry. We were already having breakfast in the center of the city.
Sylvia: Then I'll make your coffee. In the meantime, you can show John the living room.
Rona: Come on John, the living room is here to the left. On the second floor, we have the living
rooms, first floor- kitchen and sitting room.
John follows Rona. The sitting room has a large desk, a large bookshelf and
in the far corner of the room, there is also a small room piano. All interior of the house withheld a sophisticated art deco style.
Rona: Look, this was once my favorite room. There, at the table, the mother wrote articles,
when she was working at the institute and I was playing flute and piano in the meantime ...
Rona's mother comes and puts coffee and apple cakes on the table.
Sylvia: John, and what did you do when you completed the flight college?
John: I worked for many years in the Sigma 19 system on Luxury Liner Hawaii. I'm a mechanic-
just like my father. Sometimes I also worked as a carrier for all kinds of equipment.
Robert enters the room and greets John.
Robert: So you are a good pilot?
John: I think- yes. I have hauled dangerous cargo too.
Robert: You made such a long journey just for yesterday's concert?
John: Frankly saying- that's not the only reason I'm here.
John gets up, approaches Rona, kneels and takes out an engagement ring from his pocket.
John: Rona - we've known each other for a long time. You are the one who brings joy to my life
and love. I want to be with you for the rest of my life. Will you become my wife?
At this moment Rona looks embarrassed. There is a slight silence in the room.
Rona: Oh my god, John...I don't even know what to say...
John: Well, I hope you do.
Rona: John, it's so unexpected. You don't stop surprising me...
John: Ever since I met you in New York, my life has changed. You bring joy and happiness to my heart.
My life has been empty so far because you were not there. I love you with my whole heart. So- what will you say ...?
Rona: John, of course...Yes! I will be your wife! My heart belonged to you for years. I'll do my best for you - for us.
John gets up and hugs Rona. Rona cries for happiness.
At this point Robert comes to John and taps on his shoulder lightly.
Robert: Congratulations, John! I know you are a good man and you will make our daughter very happy.
It is the middle of summer. John and Rona's wedding take place in the church.
Rona's parents, John's father, and some of Rona's and John's former study fellows came together.
A small string quartet sounds in the background.
...
Pastor: Today we have gathered, to unite two loving people in holy marriage ties- John and Rona.
Let's listen to their marriage promise.
John: Dear Rona! I can't tell you how happy I am today that I can stand here facing you and look at myself as the man,
who you have chosen as a friend in your life. Therefore, here today, before all the highest powers, in the presence of
our relatives, friends, and close people, I promise you that I will not disappoint. I want to be with you and call you my
beloved wife from today forever.
Rona: I, Rona, take you John for my husband, my life partner, and my only love. I will cherish our union and love you
day by day. I will trust you and respect you, laugh and cry with you, love you in both good and bad times. From this
day on, I give you my hand, my heart, and my love until we are one another.
Pastor: John, if you want to take Rona as your wife, be together in joy and sorrow, care and love for the rest of your
life, then say yes.
John: Yes, I will.
Pastor: Rona, if you want to take John as your husband, be together in both joy and sorrow, care and love for the
rest of your life, then say yes.
Rona: Yes, I will.
Pastor: I declare you husband and wife to God, to your relatives and friends! John- you can kiss the bride.
....
The couple leaves the church and the wedding guests scatter rose petals over them.
