true, but the attitude he's been taking with other players who want new ships is what ticks me off.

Eternal asks for one new order battleship to replace the osiris, and Xing goes off about how the order just wants to be overpowered and have tons of ships and curbstomp liberty... Yet liberty has 9 more ships right now than the order does, including a full line of capships.

To list them, the order has four ships specifically developed for them: Anubis, Nephthys, Talon, and Osiris.
Liberty has eleven ships to it's name: Patriot, Liberator, Defender, Guardian, Avenger, Executioner, Havoc Mk2, liberty gunboat, liberty cruiser, liberty assault battlecruiser, liberty assault carrier, and liberty dreadnaught.

and on top of all that, trying to model this new carrier after the osiris, and giving it technology only the order is supposed to have... Sounds like a powertrip to me.

first off, I still maintain the fact the Order does not need any more capital ship. My opinion was that no pirate should have capital ships anyhow, but it is Igiss' decision.

The design looks very liberty according to the majority so I guess your opinion is mainly biased by your general hatred of Liberty because you werent able to adapt to the rp decisions of the official liberty factions. And you hold grudge against me because I dont want to see another Order battleship since they already have a vanilla one. Fine by me.

As to why another carrier; first off, not ANOTHER, it is a replacement for the actual one. As such, Igiss mentionned there will be no ships removed from the mod, and I believe the actual model is highly unpopular due to it being an import from Star Wars. This is my reason to create a more Liberty version of it; and you can't deny the axe head of the ship, the dome shaped command center of the deck (etc) are not Liberty concept.

So, you stand down and boil your anger on another planet, thank you.

I'm sorry Tenacity but you are mistaken. The Osiris was developed by Liberty as a next generation battleship, something to replace the aging model that was currently(and still is in use). Yes it was stolen by the Order, but that doesn't mean that the technology used within it is exclusive to the Order.

Seeing as it was developed in Liberty they would have redundant copies of the plans for the Osiris in every secure location possible, at least in my eyes, and if thats true why in their right minds would they stop developing technology in that vein and still and just sick with aging battleships while all the other houses are developing newer stronger technologies?

Excuse me? Take a look at the ID, infocard, and newsboards in-game. The order is not a pirate faction, they're lawfuls, and just because they're an enemy to YOUR chosen faction doesnt mean they should be stuck with a ****ty ship line.

Further, the order is the most advanced (technologically) faction in sirius. It may have started out by stealing liberty's designs, but they've got an entire 'army' of scientists and engineers now, developing their own equipment and ships.

Everything I hear out of you when it comes to the order is "they're my enemy, so they should suck." Sorry, but that aint how it works.
I hold grudges because of your biased attitude, no other reason. The model's engine and side-pods look nothing like what's currently in-game, and the front hatchet looks like it was designed by the order, not liberty.

You want honest, constructive criticism? Ditch the tubes entirely, put launch bays along the sides of the ship, shorten the hatchet on the front, and replace the engine tube - it's too long and doesnt resemble current liberty capship engine design.

I already made a LNS character for it and spent a few weeks making up the rp story behind the ship and its captain...made a ZOI, code of conduct, listed every faction and player faction and assigned its diplomacy status towards them..heh..it's so long it looks like a faction proposal.

In RP I win , when we meet I get killed dispite the fact that in RP terms , you should not be able to detect me while I'm Cloaked. But thats a matter for a diffrent debate.

I post my comment here , because I see my name being mentioned here.

Now , as far as I know this ship is just made to replace the actuall Liberty Carrier. Now , there are several things that will be against good RP and many of them have been suggested here.

Let's start with the - Cloaking devise.

Now , that is something you wont get on that ship. Cloaking technology is strickly limited to Order and perhaps Rhainland. Aldo Liberty might have had the schechess for the Osiris , the actuall cloak devise is Order made and equiped to fit the Osiris. At that point , Liberty has nothing of it's plans left / nor it's Osiris prototype. If RP should be folowed correctly , the Liberty Dreadnaught should look nothing like the Osiris , because all information on that ship is either destroyed or lost/stolen. But since you have the Lib. Dread as a almost direct copy to the Osiris , I guess making the Carrier another copy , won't hurt too much. But the Carrier , nor any other Liberty ship should posses the capability to cloak itself. Not to mention that the shere size of a Carrier would be too great to cloak itself. I mean realy , if the Order can't figure out a way to cloak there new Carrier ( fingers crossed for Jinx's design ) you guys don't realy have a chance to make it work. The cloaking matter for Carriers has already been discussed with the Order carrier.

Now , since power and armor is all you Liberty folks thing of , the I suppose you make this ship of Battleship class , BUT make it big and bulky. Lot's of armor/regens , BUT it should be as agile as a Rhainland BS and close to it's size. Also , I strongly recommend that RP wise , the weapons of that ship are those of a Cruiser. Like people stated before , the main purpose of these ships is RP'ing a fighter/bomber wing inside of them. The ship itself shouldn't have massive weapons wich take alot of space and energy to maintain , that is why Cruiser weapons suit RP better.

Since , the Liberty Dreadnaught and this ship are both copies of Osiris. I think that we should stop with the "Order is just stealing Liberty tech" thing , we stole once yet you continue to copy is to this day.

As to Eternal, what might I say. I have a lot of things to say.
But I'll just keep it to: powerplaying is easily done, very easy and boresome as ****. Everyone can.
Also. Get your mind more openned. I only see you rant on how Order should get that how order should get this and how liberty shouldn't have that.

Oh and lastly, a hint. Don't use that argument on me? Just look around dev section. I'm not merely a liberty war factory.

I think the ship itself is awesome! I can imagine people would buy it simply because of the looks because the general consensus is that it will be a mediocre combat ship. I look forward to orbiting one outside Manhattan in a not-yet-set-up character:D

On the note of RP capability, I would doubt it had the ability to cloak. The cloaking ability was based off nomad tech, which Liberty could only constructed while infested. I think. I suppose the only reason the Order has cloaking tech, was because when the original Osiris was stolen they improvised the existing tech inside it. It's also a shame Igiss won't be implimenting the real NPC carrier feature.

I'd just like to point out that the Lib dread is not a copy of the Osiris, but the other way around. The Osiris was stolen after Lib dreads were produced. The Osiris was designed along basic Liberty ship doctrine, and the dread came first. Just to clarify that.;)
