Kudos to the other BAF players who stook around for the majority of the event despite being outnumbered what I think someone counted as 2:1. Was fairly close despite this.
Yeah it Was an overkill by the coalition, you out numbered the BAF by much, they didn't really stand a chance, but they turned up and tried.
It was still a fun event and its good to see so many people participating.
At least BAF had a chance to shoot living things and wasn't obligated to die, while shooting stationary objects. Just saying. I mean, in terms of PvP balance it wasn't that bad, because Coalition players had to kill stationary objects in a short amount of time, therefore the certain part of the fleet was doing nothing, but shooting those things and didn't try to hunt or kill anyone from Bretonia side.
i implore the effort, but that editing is horrible. The jumpcuts, fonts, overlays..... ugh... Just post the gameplay next time, save yourself the trouble to add what isnt necessary for what is otherwise a good battle video.

I actually like the editing. It makes it unique. There are usually always a few people who upload unedited gameplay ( @diamond1 , @Couden , @Chronicron ).
Snake makes sort of an "Best of" thing out of it. The only really sad thing is that Wasser's screaming got lost...

Dude, even with those numbers we BARELY did it.
If we had been short 2-3 caps, we wouldn't had a chance at all to do it in time. We lost a few players due to constant server crashes, so we were already a few cruisers/BCs down by the end. We killed the last escort 3-5 minutes after respawns were off and we only had a few BCs left. If we had 2-3 BC less from the start, bretonia would have won.
Let that sink in, the event was in favor of Bretonia, from the start. Despite a possibly 2.5x advantage in manpower, we barely made it inside the framework of the event.
Remember, if just ONE escort made it (regardless of how much HP it had) - coalition would have lost.
Stop complaining about the numbers. It was a ridiculously close call. After all, even with all those snubs, if we had lost our caps, we would NEVER been able to kill those targets in time. You need 3-4 bombers to match a single BC in terms of DPS.
If anything, there were two moments where bretonia could have swung the event.
In the opening, BAF completely blew it. They were uncoordinated, badly positioned, and seemingly unaware of their surroundings. They got caught with their pants down, and were steamrolled almost twice in a row before we started shooting Escort 1 (our first target).
As we were told to shoot the stirling first, we moved our fleet. At that moment, BAF kept pressuring ONLY the Tempest Carrier.... Our main DPS force was the BCs. You kept focusing on the carrier and one BC, rather then just pummel all the BCs shooting the targets.
If BAF had focused on breaking down the ships shooting the Stirling and its escorts, rather then PVP with CAU 8 Carriers that take forever to kill, they would have severely broken our DPS and we would never made it in time.
We saw this at the tail end, before Escort 2 died. We lost a lot of caps, FAST, because after we defeated Escort 1, BAF started properly pressuring ALL the DPS'ers, and slowly ground them down. It is what you should have done from the beginning.
Also, BAF loadouts were terrible, all you need to do is just do damage, but most of you used prims. Your setups should have been 3-4x pulse to rip our shields off ASAP then pummel us with dual mortar or cerbs. Our BCr's where mostly stationairy in order to land our FWGs (main source of DPS). It would be easy to fling mortars and pulses from 3k+ whilst you get closer to use cerbs or even secondaries if need be. Prims are horribly inefficient at quickly killing a target. They just drain your core and reduce your DPS.
This event, in hindsight, its not as much of a coalition win, but rather It is a BAF LOSS.
BAF simply didnt have a plan, the proper setups, or a functioning leadership able to focus on the task at hand - saving ONE target within an hour. It was doable.
Also a reminder, BAF could've spammed caps (Battleships, not just Cruisers) like no tomorrow, indies aswell. While on the Coalition side only SCEC (only one Carrier) and SCRA had access to any Battleship (4) and two of them didn't make it till near the end of the Event. Bad luck on your side for not having enough people.
coalas were quite well coordinated i have to add, from the very start as you can see in my and snake's vids we were focusing one target at once, also might have been a size advantage since bret carrier is a bit bigger than coalition space sub and our side mainly had bombers and battlecruisers, a few typhoons here and there
but again, after a few server crashes, all coordination remained on wavelength level
