"My dear, we live in a world where it is a criminal thing for one to consume cardamine. Just consider how ridiculous it sounds." Wolfgang said before adding. "You will liberate yourself only if you abandon this world and finally live by your own rules."
The Rheinlander sipped some of his drink before addressing Valerie's request. The girl still didn't understand what was going on. Oh well.
"My dear, I am here so that we can discuss your options. The LPI is out in force, looking for DSS. You give me what I want and I can ensure a level of protection for you, your employees and your valued drones." the senior Hacker said and his eyes briefly turned to the vial of cardamine which was now in Valerie's hands.
" I understand completely what you mean" she looked at the orange vial in her hand, then looked back at Wolfgang " if this is your way of ensuring trust. After all i have been drawn to it since i became aware of my origins. "
She looked at the vial again and shivered for a brief moment, then she opened it. The odor was strong, even from a small vial like that, The smell of sweet and bitterish at the same time, a mesmerizing experiance. The level of purity was amazing. She took a deep breath, then exhaled all the way, with the next inhale, the content of the vial was gone.
And so was she.....
...all the colors were stronger and alive, she noticed every curve of the table and every spick on the floor. She looked at Wolfgang with laser eye focus noticing his pores around his lips. The slight eybrow movement and the curves on his cheekbones. With the corner of her eyes she was aware of bartender movement and suddenly all of the bar was alive. The music was a lot more noticable and she could hear end separate every single instrument that made a whole, and then put it back together. She became aware of her breathing which was now a lot stronger and more energetic. She wanted to sing and dance, she wanted to breeth and she wanted to stand up and be alive. She never felt more alive and everything was alive with her. She looked at the empty vial and threw it up to the celling and then caught it with a back of her hand. He smiled. She said:" Well.....i am having difficulties in ...finding the right words... for this ummm....experiance."
Then she smiled slightly, a few seconds later the smile turned in to a grin. Finally, moments later she was laughing out loud, and she didnt care, and it seemed like he didnt either.....
"Welcome to the new World, Valerie. Welcome to the real World. You will be forever an enemy to the oppressors and to the blind ones, don't you ever forget that."
The Hacker's demeanor changed as well. He seemed impressed and more respectful towards his guest. Before one could see it in his eye that he felt he was dealing with a little girl full of insecurities but now he was dealing with a woman.
"I still recall my first time. You will forever remember this moment as well." Wolfgang said with an expression saying 'Trust me on this one'.
" That was the most amazing rush i have ever felt. If anyone could ever describe it with words. "
She felt more confident then ever. The initial kick of cardamine wore off, but efffects were still largely present.
Sharp as scalpel and focused as a laser, those were her inner thoughts along with a thousand of others. But it wasnt difficult setting them in order. Every one of them just fell in to place, like a fine balanced sharp blade.
" Wolfgang, i am beginning to see what you were trying to tell me, in not so many words. I will help in spreading this truth throught the Liberty colonies. I'm sure you know what i mean. Now, can there be a cooperation between our two organisations? "
She extended her open arm across the table. Couriously, her arm felt empowered but calm at the same time. With her arm extended she became aware of her arm pocket with cigarettes in it. What a stupid addiction, she thought to herself. With her other arm she took them out of the pocket and threw them in a floating bin.
The Hacker was surprised for a moment with the woman's newfound confidence. 'The real, unshackled Valerie was finally out'. Wolfgang accepted her hand and kissed it as would a gentleman do to his dame.
"That can be arranged. Only our closest associates are supported via our Job Board and I believe I can arrange something similar for DSS as well, whether that is cardamine deliveries or LPI executions. Though something tells me you are willing to do the latter even for free." Wolfgang said with an amused expression.
"Have you ever killed someone, Valerie? With your own hands."
" There is time for open killing, and time for growing stronger in shadows. There is nothing i would like more than putting an end to those Liberty dogs, but all in due time. However, i am more than willing to programme my drones for spreading the orange dream throughout all Liberty. People should be free of this oppression called government. "
She smiled, still at awe as to what this substance was doing to her mind and body. She took several deep breaths. Then as if though she suddenly remembered something, she looked at Wolfang and simply said: " Yes. "
Valerie kept her smile : " I felt like.....it was necessary, because it was. There was a period of my life where i had to indure mal intent from a certain man. When i had enough, i found it wont be satisfying to just walk away. I did what had to be done for my future progress. He had to go, i remained."
At the end she wasnt laughing anymore, her glare was through the hologlass, at distant rocks dancing in space. She wondered if they have a pattern or just stuck in endless vacuum, dancing forever. Looking at the rocks, an idea struck her mind.
" But, now that we have gone through the formalities, i was thinking we can have some fun, " she pointed to the dance floor. She was different and cheereful in her behaviour. A slow moving song was playing, who knows for how long.
" C'mmon Wolfgang, i hope you dance, and if you dont, i will teach you ", she stood up and offered him a hand......
Wolfgang eyes followed Valerie's body, ripe and firm. 'What an attractive woman' he thought. He wasn't surprised that her demeanor had suddenly changed, her mind was obviously not hindered anymore with unfounded fears and shyness.
"I know a few steps." he said chuckling before accepting her hand.
She took him to the middle of the dance floor and gently moved closer to him. The music was soothing and slow, creating a relaxing atmosphere, yet the room around them was charged with sexual tension. She moved even closer to him. He could feel her breath on his neck and the warmth of her chest against his. Her lips were moving towards his ears: " I..i like men of power Wolfgang, and i have a plan for those fools that stand in our way, ", she raised her thigh in between his legs and felt his manhood on the rise, " and you are a big part of my plan. "
She was breathing gently in his ear and the time seemed to slow down. Every other persona disappeared from both their thoughts. And finally, it stopped, the time was no more but a mere invention of man. Something to hold on to when you cant find orientation. It didnt matter.
" I want us to work together, i want your alliance and i am prepared to give back, " she continued slowly while stepping in a small circle with every musical beat. She put her whole body around his, " Soon we shall both have an installation so big and well defended, full of weapons and of course, " she looked at him and winked with a gentle smile, " filled with this beautiful orange substance that must flow. And we shall control it my dear Wolfgang. " Now she was so close that he felt her dark red lipstick stains on his ear. She whispered ever so silently, " I want it all Wolfgang, and more. And when DSS finally comes out of the shadows, we shall be too strong with too many allies for anyone to pose a threat to us. "
She moved her head away slightly holding his face and without hesitation, pressed her lips against his.......
