Hello Everyone,
I am feeling well now, and have made a record recovery according to the good doctor. Breathing is a little bit stiffer, but I refuse to leave duty for any injuries a Corsair gives me. Blighted men, they are....
Anyway, today was a very rough day to come back. Upon launching from Cambridge, I decided that a routine inspection of Leeds was in order. Nothing suspicious was going on besides the average conversations of the day. I left Leeds unstressed and perfectly fine.
Upon returning to New London, though, I was met by a stream of men using Poole as their personal playground! There were four of them, but I have only been able to attain proof of two of the buggers. I chased all four of them in and out of Poole, and they must have been Rheinlanders or even Kusari, as they claimed that they couldn't speak the queen's English! At the end of the day, I eventually caught one of these trespassers who wished to use Poole as a shortcut to some remote, uninhabited system, whose callsign was [Asteria, and cornered her. Oddly enough, when I was almost through with her, she activated some type of strange cloaking device! Nothing like this has been seen since the Nomad Wars, how is it that a civilian could've gotten a hold of such technology? This does not bode very well for Bretonia, if you ask me...
[8:32:45 PM] Dusty Lens: Oh no, let me get that. Hello? Oh it's my grandma. She says to be roleplay.
[12:49:19 AM] Elgatodiablo: You know its nice that you have all that proof and all, Bacon... but I just don't believe you.

Gentlemen,
as you already gathered from your private communication units, Sir Alan Lauderdale, our Commissioner and Superintendent, decided to retire from this highly stressful job. Let's wish him all the best for the future and some well-deserved detention on the Luxury Liners. He always seemed to like a little holiday on the Tahiti, as I recall.
I prepared a basket with various tea sorts and the best crumpets I could get at Christy's. It'd be great if I could get your signatures on the card that goes with the basket. Just visit Ms Noonan at the secretariat and leave a few lines for Sir Alan.
Now, as you probably know, Sir Alan's choice was for me to become the next Commissioner, instead of Sergeant Whitacre who is quite busy at the moment.
According to the incoming transmissions I got the last days, we are currently low in numbers. Nevertheless, a few promotions are due, in my opinion. Well, let's begin.
As I won't be around all the time, due to the paperwork that my new rank implies, I have decided to put someone in charge, should I not be there. The second in command will be Mr Samuel Vimes, from now on with the rank of a Commander.
This leaves the two Captain spots that Mr Vimes and I filled during the last months. Sergeant Brian McNab and Sergeant Jerry Whitacre are both promoted to the rank of a Captain, with all the duties and privileges involved.
Finally, the Sergeants. Mr Greg Vederman and Mr Duncan M'Guire both did a lot for the security of our beloved Bretonia lately. They are both promoted and are now Sergeants of the Bretonia Police Authority.
All in all, excellent work out there, gentlemen! We should try to fill our ranks soon, though. Should you meet a man or woman aspiring to become one of Bretonia's wardens, tell them to join!
Free crackers and tea are, of course, still included.

Gentlemen,
as I stated in NSY's last press conference, the BPA will remain neutral in the conflic between the supporters of Commodore Mountbatten and the loyalists of Her Majesty.
However, should you happen to be on the scene when Bretonian Armed Forces want to fight each other, try to remind them of their duties! The Royal Fleet is not supposed to be fighting each other within Bretonia, it is supposed to be fighting others for Bretonia!
As always, allied vessels will only be attacked in self-defense, meaning your shields have been half gone. Be sure to capture an image of the attacker in the above case though, and submit it here!

Hello chaps,
Back from my time planetside with CID. Investigating disappeared cats, black market trade in silk, that sort of thing.
Not a jot happening this evening. Safe and sound. No news is good news.
Monty "The Muppet" Mountbatten the uncrowned king of Bretonia? Not likely if it's the chap I know of the same name. A veritable twit, even by my standards. Blubbed like a child at a debagging ceremony in Uni. Might have him confused with someone else though.

Good day all,
First, let me say a big thank ye for the promotion. And secondly, hurrah for Captain Cooper getting the new job as the commisioner.
Day started with a report of a hacker in Leeds. As I was headed there anyway, I rushed off ta find some poor fellow being attacked. Engaging the hacker, the trader fled to Leeds. After a wee while of dancing with the pirate, my scanner picks up another hacker coming in, and Gateway's Fimmion Cage, so I continue attacking. Had to break off though. Seems they got scared of the police, called in yet another hacker. 3 against one I had ta flee to Leeds. Met up with Fimmion and later Sir Alistair of Gateway. Gave the hackers a verbal lashin' like they'd never had before. Guess with this combined with their fear of hussars made them leave soon after.
Also, I don't know if you'd be aware, but constable Gideon is leaving us... His equipment is being stored by Gateway's mobile HQ, think I can trust them. Also pinched his nuclear mines and train disruptor, might as well take 'em, I'd be asking for them anyway...
Also, Gateway's nice donation is currently with me at the moment. So whenever ye'r ready commisioner, I'll give the credits over to ye.
Just before my shift ended, ran into a junker flyin' a red hessian cruiser with name "RYOKEN". Scanning show'd he had a pile of counterfit software on board. Asked him about it and he started his cruise engines, so I fired one of my shiney new train disruptors.
Not much I could do against the feller, so I tailed him demanding the fine, and he fled to Dublin. Where I didn't go, as I remember we cannae go there.

Sergeant M'Guire,
splendid work out there!
And yes, I've been aware of Constable Trevelyan's leave, unfortunately. Let's all wish him the best on his way.
You can, of course, keep his nuclear mines and the disruptor, should you need them.
On another note, I'll try to meet you in space aboard the Anvil, in order to complete Gateway's generous donation to our cause.
Finally, I'd like to point out the creation of a new branch within our forces; the Commerce Control Division.
The CCD will fly Armoured Transports and Percherons, able to stand up against violent smugglers and lesser criminals.
Should you be interested in the command of such a vessel (yes, command, as you will be leading a small crew) contact me on the frequency of your choice.

Good day gents,
Had an interestin' patrol today. Launched to find a lowly corsair in the New London, feller docked at Trafalgar, so I had a bit of a chat. Didnae know they were cannibals, guess ye learn something new each day...
As I was slaggin' the feller, "Corsair-Rosendo_Benitez", guess what nutter decided ta pay us a visit...
That loony Mon'star appeared. Went off ta find him, with the help of Alistair Price, who was in his bomber.
Finally caught up to him at Cardiff in Cambridge, after he'd taken out a trader, "Mortibus" I think..? Sure Price can verify or not, if ye want to ask.
Anyway, arrived ta see the terror flying away. I followed while Price held back, he warning the other traders ta flee I think.
Anyway, the crazy turned round and attacked. Now, faced with a cruiser, I ran a few runs at it, dropping mines, but had ta flee. Ship was badly damaged in the process, had ta land at Cardiff for quick repairs.
Price, joined by the HMS-Nestor followed the cruiser. But lost it somewhere near the Norfolk. Seems 'e'd had enough, and was off to Magellan.
After waiting for repairs to finish, and listenin' to some noisy trader's whining, I headed off for HQ. Sadly, as most of my patrols seem to go, had sightings of more blighters in Leeds. A small convoy of 'casts...
*sigh*
Well, there was "{SOB}JollyRoger" in a fighter. "{SOB}Armory" in a starflier. And ta top it off, "[RPP]Sven.Gustafson" who was captaining an outcast destroyer...
Rescued some pilots from the JollyRoger, but Sven showed off his 'uge ego by saying I'd have to take them by force. So I had to leave the poor souls aboard his ship...
Escorted them to the Magellan gate in Manchester. Then headed off ta HQ, get some proper repairs done. Even my nano-bots and battieries needed repairing from the thumping...

Evening all,
Rather a strange evening. Some Corsair juvenile delinquents were up to no good - writing grafitti on trade lane rings, drinking alcopops and harassing shop-owners. They are the young Benitez boys, and moved on after a stern talking to.
This was followed by a Gaian called Gaia-Wind talking nonsense about the ecosystem. A QCRF officer called Nelson helped me out on this. We talked the chap back into a state of calm, and after I gave him a few sandwiches and bags of crisps he was quite content to leave. The QCRF was a little perplexed at the fact that NSY petty cash was being put to give Gaians food rations but I think it was little enough expense for what harm I might have prevented.
I'm contemplating requesting a transfer to CCD; I've picked up some experience on the back market from my time planetside. I'll be in touch once I've decided. Always wanted to see a Percheron up close.
