Hey Everyone. I was supposed to be working for the Guard today, but, as the powers that be do things, my thing changed to another thing as the original thing was forced to change because of another thing that convinced my thing to take the day off & do another thing entirely.
So...I'm slackin' off for the weekend, doin' what is now my new thing.
I was invited to hang out here at Glendale & see the progress so far on their new Biosphere & yeah, so far, it's pretty cool. They've had atmosphere for almost two weeks, the second level walkways are done & the railings seem to be taking root nicely.
They don't appear to be anywhere near ready to start planting anything substantial yet, but at least the clover is starting to spawl out.
Anyway, back to drinking Gaian tequila, smoking left-handed cigarettes, & roaming around the place like a tourist.

Oiy! Rackham! I've come to place a forceful "calming hand" consisting of a slap somewhere above your shoulders and slightly below the fresh air above your head ...just for leaving me behind for so long. Also a reassuring hand on your wallet has quite a warming sensation to my heart....Now I've caught up it's nice to know that I've resumed my rightful place, hovering right above your bank balance, punching all the right numbers to make my life most comfortable..

'Ello everybody! The day's mostly been uneventful, sadly enough. We did a tour of Sirius today, hoping to find a bit of fun, and instead found that everyone was serious about going about their lives.
I did encounter a pair of Rheinland Military pilots who seemed to be a little more fun than their peers, though. I didn't get anything on my flight recorder, so I don't remember the names. It seems that my crew and I was enjoying a bit of Kallisti Gold that we picked up back on Gran Canaria, and the autopilot was doing the flying.
Later on, we ran into a KNF and a BAF pilot up in Tau-31 while haluing Deuterium from Canaria to New Tokyo. They were both rather Greyfaced... I tried to point out the pointlessness of their conflict, but they both insisted that it was justified. Well, if they both want the fight, who am I to argue? For my own part, I guess I'm just lucky that they were too busy
I think I'm just going to relax a bit and enjoy all the pleasures that New Tokyo has to offer. I'll talk at you all again when I feel like it.

Greetings, TAZers!
In light of the recent hostilities and rule violations at Freeport 1, we spent some time today in a security detail. While there, a Zoner destroyer by the name of Theron arrived to assist. He was there for the same reasons we were. No rule violations to report but just the usual passing of freight. Some pirates passed through and questioned our being there but that was it for them. They were warned to take their piracy and attacks elsewhere, which they did.
For now, the Vor'tcha is docked at FP1. Unless we are needed elsewhere, we will stand fast for a time.

Commander Matok! Thanks for your vigil, I'm just about to launch me shippe from FP1...
Any chance I could have a closer look at yer Ivories sometime?
After a week o' monitorin' Freeport 1 wi' Matok 'n Suzi, I'm ready t' pull me bleedin' circuits out!
I believe you primates have a term fer this type o' torture, Boss... "watchin' paint dry".
Captain Archer should be back in the neighborhood shortly, and we'd all like t' be cut loose from this wretched place. If anything untoward's happenin' around here, it's the chef stealin' prime cuts o' meat fer his family on level 17, Mal. That's all we've noticed that ain't on the square.
We'd dearly love t' be out escortin' TAZ and other Zoner traders on their daily runs, Mal, rather than sittin' about this mausoleum; or at the least home playin' tag wi' Fnordie in the Geode.

FP1 has been quiet since all the trouble there. I'm sure another FP will become a hot zone before long. For now, we shall continue on our quest for Guard Status and Nomad hunting.

To, From, Cc, subject blah blah blah... You can figure it out.
Well. Thought I'd stop by, drop a foot in on the rest of y'all. Long time part of this little family here, just been out on the rim for a spell. Figured it's time to saddle up and get back to the world. I'm back and ready for work. Put in a call when you need me, I'll be floatin' around in the Precious Mao. Stop by for a free button. Until then, I've gotta figure out how to get the spring back into an old clothespin. Tricky bastard...
Precious Mao... buttons.. Har!! I get it. Polish them babies, and report to Baffin for your Temple Robes, old friend. Glad to have you back among the Fetfull!
Mal to All.you.cuties:
Mama Dis reported quite a crowd about when she floated past Freep 1 today. Unfortunately, she also reported the suspicious presence of nanobots and shield batteries floating in close proximity to the station.
None of the knuckle-draggers hanging about would cop to a thing; but there was quite the assortment of riffraff hanging about.. Bowex, White Tigers, and one particularly snarky ASF primate who hadn't a clue he was talkiing to a "female" Fnordette, let alone the honored Chairglobe of the Council of Zoners.
New Order o' the Day: If anyone from ASF even looks crosswise at one of us, get concrete documentation, and chastise them severely. If all else fails we will put contracts out for bid to the "usual suspects".
Be updating the FnordNet database to reflect our long lost Brother Charlie toot sweet.
